Waking up the next morning without setting an alarm was weird. We usually had a strict routine to stick to, making sure we were up and ready before going to see Luke and Dan’s families but this year we were doing that tomorrow...this was a nice change.

Turning over, I noticed Dan was still asleep. I kissed his nose before climbing out of his bed and going down to my bathroom to sort myself out and brushing my teeth. Once I was finished I went back up to Dan’s room to find his bed empty. I could hear him in his bathroom so I left him to it and crawled back under his quilt. Even though I was wrapped up, I was bloody cold. One major downside to winter.

A couple of minutes later, Dan strolled out of his bathroom with a smile on his face. Getting back under under his quilt, he lay himself on top of me before pushing his lips onto mine for a sweet morning kiss.

“Merry Christmas baby.” I smile wrapping my arms around his neck.

“Merry Christmas beautiful.” he replied before kissing me again.

Slowly running my tongue along his lip, he smiled into our kiss before opening his mouth allowing me to slip my tongue in. Rolling over so I was now lay on top of him, our kiss deepened and our hands began to roam, soon enough our pyjamas were shed all over the bedroom. Dan began loving me in what felt like an inch of my life....you have to love Christmas morning sex. Both our lips red and swollen from our heavy kissing but I loved the feeling he gave me. His lips gently pressing against my neck leaving a trail on tingles across my body. Pressing a slow kiss against my neck, just under my ear made my whole body spazz, and I could feel Dan’s hot heavy breath against my neck. Turning my head to kiss his neck, I heard a low moan down my ear causing me to smile before his eyes locked on mine. Wrapping my arms around his neck, pulling him closer to me...if that was possible, I pushed my lips onto his, yet never breaking eye contact. Feeling myself hit climax moments later, I moaned out Dan's name followed by "I Love You" for him to reply with the same response. Gently rolling off me to his side of the bed, he pulled me in close for our cuddle, moving my hair from my face.

“That was beyond perfect .” He whispered, slowly running his fingers up and down my back.

“I couldn’t agree more.” I replied leaning up to kiss him

*knock knock*

We quickly pulled away as Dan pulled the quilt high up, covering me and wrapping his arm around me before shouting “Come in.”

Luke popped his head around the corner of the door laughing.

“What?” I ask smiling

“Nothing...” he laughed “Nothing like Christmas morning sex right.”

“Shut up Luke.” I laugh cuddling up to Dan, only to see him wink at Luke. For this he received a light swat on his stomach causing him to laugh and pull me into a tight hug.

“What? Luke and Evie had the same idea as us this morning.” Dan laughed, causing me to roll me eyes at him

“Anyway the point of your visit Luke?” I ask.

“Yea...me and Evie were thinking. Morning of chilling in our PJ’s, have breakfast then sit and open our presents together.”

“I like the sound of that.” I smile before looking up at Dan who nodded in agreement.

“Okay, so breakfast in ten minutes then?” Luke asked.

“Yea.” Dan replied

Luke shut the door before opening it again. “Oh I forgot to say...Merry Christmas guys.”

“Merry Christmas Luke.” We both reply before he shut the door again.

Climbing out of bed, I slipped on my underwear before putting on my dressing gown. “Gonna go get changed.” I say to Dan before going down to my room, slipping on some clean underwear and my Christmas reindeer onzie. I brushed my hair before shoving it up into a high scruffy bun and putting some tinted moisturiser on my face.

“You ready ?” Dan asked coming into my room dressed in his grey jogging bottoms and a hoody.

“Yea.” I smile slipping on my ugg slippers.

Walking downstairs together we went into the kitchen. Dan popped on the kettle as I went into the living room to turn on the Christmas lights and put on a Christmas CD to get us in the spirit. It’s something I remember mum always doing when we were kids as well.

About a minute later Luke and Evie joined us in the kitchen. “Merry Christmas Evie.” I smile hugging her as she came in trough as Luke and Dan had their man hug moment, before we swopped so I was now getting a Merry Christmas hug from Luke. Placing bacon under the grill, Luke and Dan made us bacon butty’s for breakfast accompanied with a brew.

“Didn’t know you boys could cook.” Evie smiled biting into her food.

“Well we thought we’d learn a few things.” Dan laughed

“Good to know. Now you can cook Christmas dinner next year.” I winked at Evie who laughed

“We’ll see.”

After finishing off our breakfast, the boys tidied up as me and Evie made our way into the living room. The boys joined us a couple of minutes later so we were able to open up our presents off friends and family. Leaving the gifts from one another till the end.

“I don’t know why every year your nan insists on giving me smellies.” Evie laughed at Luke...”Does she think I smell?”

“Yea same.” I laugh opening mine placing a nice smelly set next to my small pile of presents.

“She’s gets everyone smellies look...me and Dan have the same as well.”

“Next year I think we hint at something different.”

We had now got to opening presents from one another. Dan had well and truly spoiled me, even buying a few presents for baby Sutton but then again I had bought him more than what we agreed we would.

“You still have one more present to open.” Dan smiled.

“Is this what you went to get yesterday?” I ask, Dan glanced at Luke and smiled “Kinda” he replied before passing me an envelope.

I looked at him curiously before opening it. “Owch fuck.” I shouted dropping the envelope.

“Close your eyes now.” Dan said and I did as I was told. I didn’t want to pass out. Soon enough I felt Dan’s hands on mine before something wet wiping my finger then a plaster wrapping round my finger gently. “Now you can look.”

“Thank you.” I sheepishly smile

“What are you like?” Dan laughed kissing my plaster. I passed Dan the envelope before he opened it for me and gave it me back.

“Thank you .” I laughed before pulling out its contents and freezing. I just sat there for a few seconds looking at the piece of paper in my hand. “You have to be shitting me Dan?” I gasped still staring at the present in my hand.

“Are they okay....Like you happy with them?” he asked me nervously.

“Of course silly. Oh my god Dan...I can’t believe you got me these.”

‘What ?” Evie asked sitting up and moving closer to a look

“He’s got us tickets to New York.”

“Aww Dan.” Evie smiled leaning on Luke.

“Thank you so much .” I smile, feeling happy tears fall down my cheeks.

“Awww baby, you soppy bugger.” Dan smiled pulling me onto his lap and hugging me. I wiped my tears before kissing him passionately on the lips.

“I love you so much. You didn’t have to do this. This is too much.”

“Baby you are worth every penny. I knew you wanted to go so I’ve been saving up and got us tickets.”

“Thank you” I grin giving him another deep kiss before pulling away still smiling. “So when do we go?”

“The day after Boxing day.”

“Oh my...best get packing later then.” I smiled “Oh wait...am I going to be able to travel?” I ask after a minute of cuddling into him.

“Yes...I’ve already asked your doctor.”

“Oh you are perfect aren’t you.”

“Far from it , I just wanted to do this for you.”

I leant up and pressed my lips against his in a sweet embrace. “I love you, you know.”

“I love you more baby.”

Placing our presents in the corner by the tree we spent the morning watching trash tv before we made our way upstairs to get changed. I loved wearing all my new clothes on Christmas day. Slipping into a cute little dress, putting on a bit of makeup and sorting my hair out, I went up to Dan’s room and lay on his bed whilst he carried on getting ready in his bathroom. From where I was lay on his bed, I could see myself in his full length mirror. Lifting my top up, I ran my hand over my flat stomach. “There will be a bump there before you know it .” Dan said distracting me from my thoughts. I turned my head to see him standing in the door way of the bathroom smiling at me.

“Yea I know. I was just looking.” I smile over at him before getting off his bed. Just then two strong arms wrapped themselves around my waist and his head rested on my shoulder. “I can’t wait to see it.” he whispered down my ear.

“Me neither...I only want a small cute one.”

“What if we have twins?” he asked “It is a possibility.”

“Then a big bump it is.” I giggle. “Now come on.” I say taking his hand in mine.

“I’m not ready yet .” He laughed. I turned around to see him still in his joggers and vest.

“What have you been doing?”

“My hair.”

Rolling my eyes at him I smiled walking towards his door, “I’ll meet you downstairs.”

“Won’t be long baby.”

“Heard that before.” I shout back as I head down the stairs and into the kitchen to check on the veg. Everything was looking almost cooked. I couldn’t wait to eat it, I was starving. I was picking on bits of turkey but I didn’t want to eat too much or I’d spoil my dinner. Stirring the carrots I felt two arms slip around my waist and a light kiss places on my neck. “Hey baby.” I whispered to him but smiling to myself. Every kiss made my stomach flip like i was a teenager again.

“How’s my girl doing?”

“Good.” I smile

“How’s my baby doing?” he asked, slightly tightening his grip but gently rubbing my stomach at the same time.

“Fine, we’re both good.” I grin looking at him over my shoulder.

“Just what I want to hear.” I heard him whisper clearly, “I can’t wait to meet them.”

“Me neither baby. Only seven months to go.” I giggled turning around in his grip and kissing him.

“What the hell took you so long getting ready? I swear you are worse than any girl I know.”

“I get distracted easily.” He laughed

“Doing?”

“I don’t know...my phone...my hair...the tv...’’

I laughed rolling my eyes at him before turning back around to check the dinner. Soon enough Luke and Evie joined us just in time for us to dish up. A few family pictures were taken of us sitting around the table, each of us wearing a Christmas hat and pulling on a cracker. You had to love self timer on camera’s.

“Merry Christmas.” We all cheered clinking our glasses together before we all tucked into our dinners.

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect Christmas. Once we were all stuffed to the brim the lads cleared up and we moved into the living room to chill out, watch top of the pops Christmas special and more trash tv, whilst munching on so much chocolate. Oh and not to forget the queens speech. It’s boring and sounds exactly the same every year but it’s a tradition, wouldn’t be Christmas day without her.

Eventually the board games got brought out and our annual game of Christmas monopoly began. I swear it’s a game that Luke and Dan would play forever if they could. Trying to buy as many properties as they could and adding house after house and hotels. Me and Evie got bored so we played on the wii whilst the boys battled it out on the board.

Whilst the lads carried on playing their game, insisting they would play till the other went bust, Evie went up for a nap so I headed up to my room to begin my packing, I couldnt contain my excitement, pulling my suitcase from under my bed. I began emptying my wardrobe all over my floor to try and find clothes to take with me. I knew it would be winter over there so I wasn’t going to make the mistake of only taking nice dresses and tops with me.

“Oh my god ...what happened in here?” Dan gasped walking into my room after I’d been up here a while.

“You giving me my present happened.” I giggled standing up and stepping over my clothes.

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!” I screamed falling to the floor, my foot getting caught in some clothing.

“I got you .” I heard Dan say as his arm wrapped around around me.

I lifted my head up to slowly look into his eyes, knowing full well that i was now crying.

“Awww baby you’re okay...what’s with these tears?”

“Dan I’m forever panicking something is going to go wrong or i’m going to do something stupid and we’ll lose our baby again. I couldn’t cope if that happened again.”

“Shhhh.” He soothed, pulling me onto his lap as he sat on my bed, he gently places his hands on my cheeks wiping away my tears. “Baby nothing is going to happen okay. We are going to be fine. Nothing is going to happen to our baby, I think we’ve had enough bad luck to last us a life time. We will have our little munchkin here with us before we know it. Just try and watch where you’re walking in future.”

Making me giggle slightly I nodded knowing that he was right. I needed to stop worrying...everything was going to be fine.

“Now how about I help you pack, then we chill downstairs for the rest of the night before bed?”

“Sounds perfect . But don’t you need to pack?”

“All done yesterday .” He grinned, “I planned the trip remember.”

Two hours later my largest suitcase was stuffed with my warmest and comfiest clothing and shoes but not forgetting some nightlife outfits. Being pregnant is not going to stop me from enjoying a night out or two in the big apple. This trip is going to be a once in a life time opportunity and I plan on making the most of it with Dan whilst im there.

Finishing off the day by curling up on the sofa with my boy as we all watched Love Actually together was just perfect. Cold turkey sandwiches, crisps and chocolate was what our tea consisted of, and probably the next couple of days as well, we seemed to have enough to feed the five thousand.

Only the light of the Christmas lights filling the room gave it a warm vibe and with our fake fire flickering away under the TV warming us up. Love Actually always gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside, was too cute.

As the movie was coming to an end, something outside the window caught my attention. “Oh wow.” I whispered causing everyone to look at me.

“What ?” Luke asked but I just got up off the sofa, wrapping my blanket around me and going to the patio doors and opening them up.

“ what you doing?” Dan asked

“Look.” I simply replied and they all followed me.

I felt Dan take my blanket off me but then felt him wrap himself around me, with the blanket around us both, Evie and Luke stood the same way in the patio doorway watching the beautiful white flakes fall.

“I can’t believe it’s snowing.” Evie smiled

“It never snows.” I replied

We all just stood there for a while, watching as it slowly covered our green lawn into a blanket of white. It was coming down thick and fast. The light from the moon making it look like glitter.

“Merry Christmas baby.” I heard Dan whisper down my ear.

“Merry Christmas Dan. I love you.” I replied turning in his grip.

“I love you too gorgeous.” He smiled leaning in and kissing me so gently. “Now come on lets get in, don’t want you girls getting too cold now.”

Turning everything off and locking up we all headed up to bed ready for our early start in the morning, just hope the snow wouldn’t stop us. Climbing into Dan‘s bed and curling up next to him, I let out a long yawn.

“Let’s get some sleep , long drive tomorrow.”

“Yea, okay.” I whispered

“Night.” He replied kissing me softly before wrapping me up securely in his arms. Officially the best Christmas ever.
