“Everything okay?” I ask

“Yea...everything’s perfect.” Siobhan smiles “We just wanted a private chat with you two.”

“Oh okay.” Evie smiled popping another strawberry into her mouth.

“We just wanted to say how proud we are of you girls. We’ve watched you grow up from these two gorgeous babies into stunning...beautiful women.” Siobhan says

“Aww thank you.” I blush

“I know your parents would have loved to have been here today.” Sharon begins and we both nod slowly. “They would have been so proud of you...and what you have become. Me and Siobhan we’re saying how we couldnt have chosen two better girls for our boys.”

“I know you two will look after our boys, we trust you two like you were our daughters and love you both as if you were. I know your mum is no longer with us...but don’t ever feel like you can’t talk to us...either of us about anything okay. We’re always here for you.” Siobhan smiles, her eyes glistening.

By now I was crying, slow happy tears sliding down my cheeks. “Aww we didn’t mean to make you two cry.” Sharon smiled pulling Evie into a hug as Siobhan hugged me

“Sorry...” Evie sniffed. “But they are happy tears...right Liv?”

“Definitely. We love you two like you are our second mums.”

We stood chatting away to Sharon and Siobhan for a little while longer before Sharon and Evie went to go and find Luke.

“So is everything good with you and my boy then?” Siobhan asks me as we sat back down

“Yea...we’re really good. I love him soo much.”

“I can tell and I know you are everything to him. I’ve never seen him like this before. Even though you, Evie, Dan and Luke always played together from when you were babies...there was always just something about yours and Dan’s relationship that stood out for me. Me and your mum always spoke about how you two would end up together.” she smiled

“Really?” I gasped

“Yea totally. We would sit in the park and just watch you. You two never argued and I duno...thinking back there was always just a connection with you two. I’m glad you got together in the end.”

“Thank you.” I smile and her and she nods at me.

“By the way...” she whispers coming closer to my ear “Congratulations on being pregnant?”

I pulled away gob smacked...how did she know? Did Dan tell her?

“Errr...what?”

“So you are then?” she beamed and I nodded, a smile bursting onto my face.

“Ahhhhh” she screamed pulling me into a hug.

“How did you know?” I ask her. “Did Dan tell you?”

“No, he didn’t. I guessed.” She smiled holding my hand. “I noticed you’ve not been drinking all day and you’ve got the mother to be glow about you...same with Evie. Plus...Dan has been watching you like a hawk all day and if I’m right...he’s watching us right now.”

We glance around the room and as if on cue we spot him at the bar smiling over at us, I couldnt help but giggle.

“Call it mother’s intuition if you will.”

“We’ve not told anyone yet. We’re waiting for the doctor to confirm it on Monday.”

“Well your secret is safe with me . I can’t believe im going to be a grandma.”

“Think you’re too young to be a grandma...think nan suits you better.” I laugh and she pulls me into a tight hug.

“Yea...me too.”

“How are my favourite ladies doing?” I heard Dan say coming to stand between us.

“Fantastic.” Siobhan grins at him and I warmly smile at him and nod.

“Good.” He replies standing me up, sitting in my seat then pulling me back onto his lap. His arms wrap around my waist, stroking my stomach gently. No one but us would notice but Siobhan couldn’t stop smiling at us.

“I hear my baby’s having a baby.”

“What mum?” Dan replied shocked.

“She guessed ...I couldnt lie to her.” I say turning towards him grinning before kissing him gently.

“Well then I guess the answer is yes.”

“Congratulations.” She beams quietly to us .

“Thanks mum.”

“Okay...well I better go find your brother. See if he’s keeping out of trouble. I’ll catch you both later.” She smiles before walking off.

I turn to face Dan who was smiling like there was no tomorrow. “I’m sorry if you didnt want her to know yet but I couldn’t lie to her.”

“It’s fine baby, honestly.”

“She said she guessed because I’m not drinking and you’ve been watching me all day.” I giggled

“Well I can’t help it, you look beautiful.”

“You’re mum said I had that mother to be glow about me...”

“You do.”

“I feel like I am you know. I’m just so happy right now.”

“It suits you.” He smiled stroking my cheek gently.

“One baby at a time mr.”

“But I definitely see more than one in our future.”

“Well we can have fun trying.” I giggle

“Ohhhh yes.”

“PLEASE MAY THE BRIDE AND GROOM MAKE THEIR WAY TO THE CENTRE OF THE DANCE FLOOR FOR THEIR FIRST DANCE AS AN OFFICIAL MARRIED COUPLE.” The DJ announced loudly over the microphone.

Me and Dan turned to face the dance floor where Luke had wandered onto...but where was Evie?

“Evie will only be a minute...she’s just popped to the ladies.” Sharon laughed, causing the room to fill with laughter.

A couple of seconds later she appeared and they took to the centre of the dance floor. Evie’s arms wrapped around Luke’s neck as his protectively snaked around her back as the romantic melody of All 4 One – Beautiful As You began to play.

I felt Dan lift me up off his lap and take my hand in his. We joined Luke and Evie on the dance floor along with numerous other couples including Luke’s parents, Dan’s and our other friends for the remainder of the song. Swaying together as we gazed into each other’s eyes and every so often having a little kiss. Having Dan quietly sing the lyrics to me...kinda took my breath away. For me he was perfect.

During the last note I wrapped my arms tightly around Dan’s neck kissing him passionately.

“I love you Dan.”

As the evening drew on Luke and Evie cut their three tiered cake and Evie threw her bouquet. Standing near the back as I didn’t want to get in with the needy girls arguing over who would win it but still wanting to take part and secretly wanting to catch it. After all...the girl who catches it is meant to get married next...well a girl can wish.

“Ready girls on three. One...Two...Three....” I watched as her flowers flew right over the crowd of girls and straight into my arms. I was stood well away from everyone. A smile broke out on my face as I held the flowers up and every one cheered before Dan came over.

“Does this mean I have to step up now?” he asked smiling.

“Huh? What?....” I gasped

“Well they say don’t they...the guy proposes after his girl catches the bouquet of flowers at a wedding?”

“Well...it’s kinda up to the guy...” I mumble not getting my hopes up.

“Hey baby...” he whispers pulling me close to him

“Yea...”

“When I do propose...I have something much more romantic planned than just asking you at someone elses wedding.” He grins

“When?”

“Yes when......you know me and you are forever and I only plan on doing it once so I’m going to make it perfect.”

I sighed letting out a smile...I did love this boy so much. “I love you.” I smile pressing my lips onto his.

“I love you more.”

Eventually the night drew to an end with only a few guests remaining. Everyone had waved off Luke and Evie who were off to The Bahamas for for weeks on their honeymoon. Me and Dan were going to take all their presents back to our house tomorrow, leaving them with Luke’s parents for tonight.

“I can’t wait to get into bed...I’m shattered.” I sigh sitting down at a table next to Dan.

“You ready to go?”

“Please.”

We made our way around everyone saying goodbye before climbing into one of the many taxi’s that had been dropping people off at their homes and coming back.

After a fifteen minute car journey we pulled up outside our house, paying the taxi driver and getting out. I literally dumped my bag and shoes at the bottom of the stairs before quickly getting a glass of water and heading up to bed. I placed the glass on my bedside unit and walked into the bathroom where Dan was stood in only his trousers. "That’s a nice sight for me to walk in and see." I smirk standing in the doorway before joining him at the sink and brushing my teeth. Finishing up, I attempted to reach the zip on my dress but it slowly moved down my back followed by light kisses. "Mmmm, that's nice" I sighed, then Dan tilted my neck to the side slightly as I felt his lips press down just under my ear before slowly descending and hitting my shoulder. His arms snaking around my now waist.

“Ummmm Dan.” I moaned biting down on my lip and leaning my body into him. Feeling his heartbeat against my back...suddenly I wasn’t so tired.

I was slowly turned around in his grip and more amazing kisses were lightly placed on my lips, teasing me almost...his fingers grazing my waist as I turned and now resting just under my knickers. Dan tilted my neck to the other side and began kissing up towards my ear whispering all of his dirty thoughts and what he wanted to do with me causing me to blush and giggle like a love struck teen. He then began kissing along my jaw line before capturing my lips in a sweet kiss.

My hands fell from around his shoulders and down his toned body to his pants. I quickly undid his belt and unzipped them allowing them to fall to the floor. Dan stepped out of them kicking them to one side, eagerly pulling me closer to him.

Our tongues massaging one another’s in a slow steady rhythm. I was slowly being backed towards my large double bed. His fingers slowly moving up my spine, making my whole body shiver to his touch. Seconds later I felt him unclip my bra before peeling it from my shoulders and letting it hit our feet. As we fell onto the bed, I slowly moved my body up towards the top as Dan hovered above me. Bringing his body closer to mine, Dan’s hand began slowly moving down my body before stroking against my knickers. I hungrily pulled his head closer to mine and made our kiss deeper as his fingers slipped inside me.

Moaning into our kiss I could feel him smiling, before he began kissing down my body very slowly. He removed his hand, then cheekily glanced up at me from under the quilt before pulling my knickers down. Dan parted my legs as he began kissing up the insides of my thighs causing my whole body to tremble at his touch. The things this boy did to me. Soon enough I was moaning as he let his tongue get to work. I began biting down on my lips as not to moan too loudly.

Dan began kissing the inside of my thigh again before making his way back up my body. I was still trembling from that experience, I pushed my lips onto Dan’s and kissed him deeply before pulling away grinning. “I guess you didn’t forget.” I wink at him and a huge grin spread across his face.

“As if I would when I know how much my girl loves that.” he whispered down my ear and all O could do was giggle. We began kissing again, my arms around his neck, playing with his hair before slowly moving down his body. I rolled him over so that I was lay on top of him, his hands squeezing at my bum as his tongue traced itself across my lips before slipping into my mouth once more.

I traced over his carefully toned abs with my fingers then slowly retraced them with my tongue causing low moans and pants to come from Dan’s mouth. I ran my tongue across the top of my boxers...before slowly pulling them down and chucking them out the side of the duvet. “FUCK .” He moaned as my hand and mouth began to pleasure him. As he finished his hands clenched into tight balls next to him and moaned.

Kissing back up his body I was greeted by his gorgeous eyes staring at me and a huge cheeky grin upon his face before he pulled me into a passionate kiss. For the next few minutes we let our hands roam free over each other’s bodies...teasing one another. Soon enough positioned himself between my legs before pushing himself into me.

I could feel Dan’s heavy breathing down my neck as he began to move faster. Our eyes locked making this even more intense. Eventually he rolled to his side of the bed, and I automatically moved to rest my head on his chest. Our heavy panting and the drum of our heartbeats was all you could hear.

“I meant what I said today...I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.” Dan whispered after a while of us just lying together.

“Me neither .” I smiled looking up at him as his hand rested on my stomach.

Monday morning came and we were off to the doctors. “You ready yet ? I don’t want to miss our appointment.” Dan shouted up to me

“Coming now.” I replied running down the stairs and slipping on my ugg boots.

There were three weeks till Christmas so the weather outside was freezing and we’d been given the forecast of snow much to mine and Dan’s excitement. We were like big kids in snow.

Driving to the doctors I was so nervous, I didnt want anything to go wrong...I couldnt cope if anything did happen.

"Miss Williams." a deep male voice called

I stood up and walked towards the room, Dan following close behind me. We sat down on the two available chairs as Dr. Philips typed away on his computer.

"So what can I help you with today?" he asked pushing his glasses up his nose.

"I think I might be pregnant. We’ve taken a test but I would just like you to confirm it for us." I

smiled, taking hold of Dan’s hand and linking our fingers together.

Half an hour later we walked out of the surgery positively beaming.

"So there it is." Dan grinned squeezing my hand

"There it is." I reply smiling ear to ear.

"So we're definitely pregnant."

"All five weeks of it" I laugh

"I love you." Dan says stopping in front of me

"I love you too " I reply before kissing him. We walked back to my car before driving home.

As soon as I had locked the front door Dan was in the kitchen. "What are you doing?" I ask following him in

"Putting our scan date on the calendar." he smiled "I am not missing this for the world."

Our baby was due in late July, a summer baby and we couldn't wait. We'd been through so much; I just wanted us to move on with our lives.

Whilst Evie and Luke were away we made the most of having the house to ourselves and making as much noise as we wanted to without them complaining. My hormones were all over the place at the moment and I was having really bad cramps and sickness. But all I was craving was strawberries just like Evie did.

Me and Dan were still planning on moving out, more so now we had our own baby on the way. And as the week drew on, all I was occupied on was looking for a place for me and Dan to move into. I’d set up a couple of viewing for the following week, hoping that at least one of these places would feel like home as much as this one did when me, Evie, Luke and Dan moved in together at eighteen. As soon as we stepped inside we knew it was the place for us, I was hoping to be as lucky this time. It was going to be weird living without Evie, I have done all my life but I guess this is where our path goes seperate ways.

It had now been a week since the wedding and I’d just walked through the front door after a day from hell at work. Lisa was working me so hard. Due to me taking those two impromptu days off last week so me and Dan could have some time together, she as being even worse than usual with me. I’d made sure that my report was in on time so I don’t know what her problem is. I was so close to shouting ‘I quit’ in her face but I knew she would get nothing but pleasure knowing she was getting to me and that I no longer worked here.

Unlocking the front door, I walked inside dropping my handbag on the floor. I pushed the door shit with my back, my eyes glued at the living room.

There were hundreds of petals sprinkled over the floor and going up the stairs, also dozens of tea cup candles allowing a soft glow to dill the room. Two pans clattering in the kitchen brought my thoughts back to reality...what was the reason for this?

Had I missed something?

There was only Christmas...and that was two weeks away.

What else was there?
