*Liv POV*

I could feel a dampness to my face and Dan’s soothing voice.

“Wake up Tink.”

I flutter my eye lashes and a smile appears on his face for a couple of seconds before he glanced down and a saddened look overcome him.

“I’m so sorry.” He whispered as i sat up.

I took in a deep breath and looked at him, he looked devastated. I moved closer to him and took his hands in mine.

“So tell me everything.”

His eyes met mine before he nodded and began to explain this morning events.

“...So I came back here to speak to Luke then you walked through the door. You know what happened after that.”

“So she’s sure she’s pregnant?” I ask him

“I think so, she said she did a test.”

“I think we should get her to do another one.”

“We?”

“Yes we...Dan when I had my scare...you were there for me. So I’m going to be there for you. I love you so much and I know I’m never not going to be with you so I guess this is something we are going to have to deal with.”

“You are amazing...you know that?” he grins pulling me into a hug

“I’m just being there for my boyfriend. Plus you were with her whilst with me. But I don’t trust her Dan...I never have done. I just have this bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that she’s just saying it to try get you back. Hence why she sent me that message before.”

“She can try all she wants ...me and her are never going to happen. I think she might have taken your number from my phone when I was at hers.”

“How?”

“I went to the bathroom and she handed me my phone back when I came out...must have come out my pocket or something. Sorry .”

“I’ll just change my number...its fine.”

“I still can’t believe I have you, you are too good for me.”

“ I’m not trust me....I’m just grateful you kissed me all those months ago...”

“Me to Tink...me to.” He grinned, flashing me his pearly white teeth. “You do realise one thing don’t you?”

“What?”

“You’re kinda stuck with me forever.”

“Well we can agree on that.” I smile and kiss him gently. “So shall we go round and see Amy, take a test with us.”

“Now?” he asks pulling me into him

“Well in like an hour, I’d rather know for sure or not.”

“Okay , but for now let me just hold you in my arms.”

“Fine by me Romeo, it’s my favourite place to be.”

An hour later we were on our way to Amy’s house. I’d never been here before so I linked my fingers with Dan as we walked down the street to her house. “Everything is going to be okay .” Dan whispers to me, kissing my temple as we reach the front door.

*knock knock*

The door opened and Amy was stood there. “Oh hi Dan.” She grinned, “What you doing here again?”

She opened the door wider and saw me, her face dropped. “What she doing here?”

“She’s here supporting me, now can we come in?”

“Eugh...I suppose.” she moaned as we walked into the living room.

“Oh hi Dan...twice in one day. You sure you haven’t got a thing going on with my sister.” Lindsay laughed then noticed me stood there glaring at her “Oops my bad.” She laughed again turning round cuddling up to someone on the sofa.

“So what do I owe the pleasure Danny baby?” Amy annoyingly asks. I hate it when she calls him that.

“Well we were wondering if you could take the test again for us?” I smile sweetly at her

“You don’t believe that I’m pregnant?” she moaned, pouting her lips at him like a two year old.

“To be honest Amy...not one hundren percent no We always used protection.”

“Well I am, I’ll do your stupid test, hand it here.” She smugly grins at us, snatching the test from my hand. “Lindsay will you come with me please?”

“Sure .”

Lindsay got up from the sofa and followed Amy upstairs as me and Dan sat down on the sofa.

“Hey I’m Lucien.” The lad smiles at us

“Liv.” I smile back

“Dan.” Dan replies nodding his head at the lad

We sat there in silence for a couple of minutes waiting for Amy to come back down, I could feel that Lucien watching me. It was beginning to creep me out.

Finally Amy came down the stairs with the test in her hand. “See now I’ve done this stupid test for you...do you believe me?” she grinned handing it over for us to see.

Positive...9 weeks.

So the bitch wasn’t lying.

I stood up and passed the test back to her. “Thank you for taking it.” I say to her walking towards the door, Dan following me

“Dannyyyyy, we need to discuss our baby.” She grinned rubbing her stomach

“Another time Amy.” He snapped walking out the door, pulling me with him. I think he was hoping it would be negative. I was hoping for that as well...but I guess not. I won’t be getting my fairytale happily ever after...not with Amy in our lives that’s for sure.

A couple of weeks had past since we asked Amy to take the test for us. Mine and Dan’s relationship was still going strong, which I was so grateful for. Amy was sticking her nose in where ever she could. Getting Dan to go round to hers so they could ‘talk’. I knew what she was trying to do...come between us but it wasn’t working. I wasn’t going to let her, she may be having his child but she wasn’t having him. I wasn’t letting him go.

*ring ring*

Me: “Hello?”

Amy: “Hi Liv.”

M: “Amy...what’s up?”

A: “Can you let Danny know that our twelve week scan is on Friday 13th, 10 o’clock please. I’ve tried getting hold of him but he’s not answering his phone.”

M: “He’s working today that’s why. But sure, I’ll put it on the calendar and let him know later.”

A: “Thank you. Bye.”

M: “Bye.”

I hung up and sighed walking into the kitchen, writing on the calendar the time of the appointment. It was three days away...she was leaving it last minute to let Dan know.

Luke and Evie were out looking at venue’s for their wedding, so I had the day to myself. I cleaned the house before going on a walk. It was a lovely day so it would be a shame to waste it indoors.

I called in at Asda on the way back, picking up some bits for tea before making my way back. I walked in and Luke and Evie had taken over the living room with papers and wedding booklets.

“Hey .” Evie smiles as I kick the door shut.

“Hey...how it go today?”

“Brilliant...we’ve booked the church.” Luke grinned

“Wow that’s fantastic.” I reply heading into the kitchen with the bags

“Four weeks time.” Evie shouted through

“Oh wow, you weren’t kidding when you said you wanted a fast wedding before the baby came.” I laughed walking back into the living room

“Well I don’t want to be fat.” Evie smiled

“You will be eventually but ahhh I’m so excited. So much to sort out.” I smile at them

“I know...so after tea Liv...we need to get to work.”

“Okay ...” I smile heading back into the kitchen to start making tea.

I was making steak tonight with all the veg and spuds. So I sat down on the kitchen chair...pulled out the bin and began pealing the potatoes and the veg.

Washed and chopped I placed them into the pans before putting the steaks onto cook. I felt two arms wrap around my waist and a pair of lips hit my neck, causing a smile to appear on my face.

“Hey baby.” I say before turning around to be greeted by a gorgeous pair of chocolate brown eyes.

“Hey beautiful.” He smiled before kissing me

“How was work?”

“Boring...but it’s a job I guess.” He sighed

“Brings in the pennies.” I laugh

“To spend on you baby.” He smiled before kissing me again

“Not for much longer .” I sigh before turning around to check on the food

“What do you mean?”

“You have a baby to take care of Dan...you need to start saving your money for Amy.

He didn’t reply to that he just wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close to him before whispering “I’m sorry.” Down my ear

“Not your fault . Oh and by the way she rang me before.”

“What did she want?”

“To let you know that her twelve week scan is on Friday...10 o’clock.”

“Oh right okay, I’ll let work no tomorrow that I need to morning off. Bit last minute though.”

“That’s what I thought but I guess Amy is just trying to make things awkward.”

“I’m sure she’s not, she knows how hard this is for us.”

“Dan do not defend her...she is making this as hard as possible for me. She wants me gone.”

He sighed and walked out the kitchen, I didn’t want her to come between us but it looks like her plan is working.

I made sure the steaks were cooked, the veg was done before making the gravy. I dished up, opened up a bottle of wine, pouring three glasses and a glass of squash for Evie.

“Dinners ready.” I shout through and we all sit down. There was an awkward silence between me and Dan. I guess the others could sense it as well as Evie kept glancing at me and Dan.

I finished up first, getting up from the table and placing my dishes into the dish washer before walking into the living room, waiting for Evie. Dan didn’t realise how hard this was for me. Why would Amy want me around, all she wants is Dan...the father of her child. I’m no one to her, but I thought i was something to Dan?
