*Dan POV*

I picked myself up off the floor and trudged up the stairs into my bedroom locking the door behind me. Evie and Luke had gone to get some food in since we didnt have much in the cupboards. I hit play on my ipod and collapsed onto my bed, letting my tears fall down my cheeks. I didn’t care if anyone saw me, I was heartbroken. Why didn’t I just tell her how I felt instead of going behind her back? The music began to blast though my room filling it with noise to try and drown out the thoughts in my head and the sound of my heart breaking. It must have been about ten minutes before a slow melody began to play and Nobody Knows began flood my room.

I sat up and took in what was being said...it was all true. I loved her so much and missing her like crazy.

I walked into my bathroom and quickly jumped into the shower, hoping it would make me feel better and my heart ache a little less. I got out the shower and wrapped a towel around my body before drying myself and getting changed.

I saw a pink light flashing at the top of my blackberry and ran over. I knew it was from Liv.

[Hey Romeo...I’m in our tree. I’m sorry i flipped before, come meet me please! Tink xxx]

Oh my god, our tree. I hadn’t been there in years, made me smile she’d gone there out of everywhere.

[Hey baby girl, I’m on my way now. You have nothing to apologise for okay, love you A xxx]

I practically ran down the stairs and out the house before running back remembering to lock the door. They would kill me if I hadn’t and we got robbed.

I made sure the house was locked before running down to the park. I jumped over the gate and ran into the park. I saw the tree in the corner and casually strolled over to her. As I got closer I could see her sat up there, staring up at the sky. I got to the tree and she still hadn’t seen me. I climbed up and poked my head over and she was sat there smiling. I sat down opposite her and couldn’t stop smiling.

“I’m so sorry...” I begin to say before she presses her finger against my lip.

“Look” she smiled, “You remember this?”

I looked to where her finger was pointing and a huge smile spread across my face.

“Of course I remember it Tink...was our first kiss night right?” I replied and I saw her nod.

I lifted my finger to her chin and turned her face to face mine.

My eyes met hers and I could feel my stomach do a back flip. I saw a smile play on her lips but her eyes never left mine.

“So...you going to let me kiss you?” I whisper to her, just like I had done that night. She nodded slowly before I leant in.

My hand moved from her chin to her cheek, gently grazing it as my lips met hers. Electricity flowed through my body as our lips touched. Our tongues moving together slowly, it was the most intense kiss we’d had. As I pulled away my fingers found hers, but my eyes never left hers. I saw a sigh escape her lips then her eyes open, revealing her captivating emerald green eyes.

My fingers gently rubbing over her hand, as I felt my heart beat increase.

“I love you Liv” I whisper

“I love you too Dan” she grinned

I felt like i was going to burst, this was the happiest moment of my life.

*Liv POV*

“I love you Liv” Dan whispered to me and my heart beat began to increase to an incredible rate.

“I love you too Dan” I grinned at him and the biggest smile I had ever seen appeared on his face. His lips returned to mine within seconds as we passionately kissed. I could feel tears falling down my cheeks as we kissed. Had I got my happy ending?

“How can you cry when we kiss?” Dan laughed after pulling away, wiping my tears.

“I don’t know” I laugh, “But they’re happy tears”

“Good” he smiled before pulling our house keys from his pocket

“What you doing?” I ask him but he just smiled

“Come with me”

“Where?” I smile but he shakes his head before climbing down the tree. I peered over the edge to see him standing there with his arms open for me to get down. I got the edge before slipping down into his arms.

He kissed me quickly before pulling away, “Where we going?”

“Nowhere” he smiled before pulling out his keys again and engraving our initials onto the tree in a giant love heart.

I leaned into his left side as he did, “Make it neat”’ I smile and his glance left the tree for a couple of seconds and met mine before smiling at me. His smile did things to my body he would never understand.

After he was finished he wrapped his arms around my waist and leant his head on my shoulder. “What you think?”

“I love it” I whisper back, feeling his hold on my get slightly tighter.

“Okay so I need to ask you something”

I turned around in his arms and leant against the tree. His arms now holding onto my waist and pulling himself into me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and smiled at him. “Yea”

“Tink...will you be my girlfriend. No friends with benefits, I just want the benefits of you being with me. Officially mine, as my girlfriend”

“Dan I’d love to”

His arms grasped around my waist and he spun me around before placing me down and attacking my lips with his. “Finally...you are mine” he grinned making me giggle.

I linked my fingers with his and we began walking out the park and down the road back to our house.

“I just need you to know how sorry I am for what I did , but I’d probably do it again if it meant in the end I got to do this” Dan says to me as we walk back before pulling me into a heart melting kiss.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and moved my body into his as the kiss got deeper. I pulled away smiling, “I know you’re sorry but don’t do it again okay”

“I won’t need to because I’m never letting you go. How could we get a better relationship then where your partner is your best friend, knows all your secrets and everything about you”

“Very true ” I smile before kissing him again “Come on lets go home”

I couldn’t stop smiling, I was finally with Dan. What I’d hoped for for a long time but never thought it would happen.

“You ready to face them?” Dan laughed as we reached the front door.

“Yea” I grin and he opened the door.

We walked inside and I felt two arms wrap around me. “So what’s happened?” Evie asks me very rushed and excited.

“What you mean?” I ask her

“Well you were arguing then you went out then like half an hour later we left and came back to the house being empty guessing Dan had come after you”

“You were right” Dan laughed wrapping his arms around my waist as I placed mine on top of his before feeling his warm lips press against my cheek.

“Oh my god, you’re together” she screeched

“Yea we’re together” I grin and hear Dan whisper “Finally” down my ear sending goosebumps all over my body.

“Okay me and you need to talk now”

I couldn’t help but laugh as Evie took me upstairs leaving Dan to chat to Luke on the sofa.

After about an hour I had filled Evie in on EVERYTHING that had happened in mine and Dan’s relationship and she couldn’t believe how sneaky we were. I thought she would be upset with me for keeping this from her but she was just so excited that Dan and I were together now.

“Come on let’s go back down” I smile grabbing her hand.

“He really does love you, you know Liv”’ she says before we reached my bedroom door.

“Yea I know, I love him to”

As we reached the lads and sat down beside our respective boyfriends, I heard Dan say “You’ll never guess where I found her Luke”

“Where” Luke grinned at us. Dan was now sat behind me, his legs either side and arms wrapped around my waist.

“At the park in our tree”

“As in THE tree?” Evie asked and I nodded

“Oh wow, we’ve not been there in years” Luke laughed.

“I can’t believe me and Luke had our first kiss together and you two did and now we’re all together” Evie grinned leaning into Luke

“Just shows that we were meant to be doesn’t it” Dan laughs

“Guess it does ” I smile. I was so happy right now, I just hope nothing would happen to ruin it.
