We parked up and I grabbed our bags as did Evie. Luke grabbed the camping gear as Dan grabbed the food and drink.

“Where we putting all this then?” Luke asked as we wandered through the crowds.

“Don’t mind. Not somewhere too crowded though” Evie replies

“How about here” I hear Dan shout.

“Perfect” Evie grinned.

There were a couple of tents up already so we plonked all our stuff down and waited as the lads attempted to put up the tent.

“Drink?” Evie asks me and I nod taking a kopperberg from her.

“Dan do you know where this thingy majigy goes?”

“Err no. I’ve got this what cha me call it and I can’t find it on the piece of paper”

Me and Evie were in stitches they couldn’t do anything.

“Boys let us try” I say grabbing the instructions from Dan.

“No this is a man’s job” Dan says taking them back

“, you’ve been at it half an hour and most of the parts are still in the bag” I smile and take it off him

“Eve’s, grab those sticks from the bag”

Within half an hour me and Evie had put it up.

“And that’s how it’s done” Evie laughs grabbing another beer out of the cooler and handing me one.

“We could have done it” Luke says sulking

“Eventually yea. But we wanted to sleep in it tonight ” Evie laughed kissing him gently.

I grabbed my stuff and walked into the tent. It had three sections to it. Two bedrooms and a joint middle. I dumped the beer cooler in the middle before taking my bag into one of the rooms. Dan brought in two thick camping matts, pillows and sleeping bags. I placed my bag in the corner and turned around to see Dan standing there in the door way grinning at me.

“Yes?” I smile at him, placing my hands on my hips. He zips up the door and pulls down the blackout cover.

“Do you realise how mean you were to me in the car getting changed like that” he grins walking over to me.

“Oh I am so sorry ” I smile as he places his hands on my hips.

“You need to make it up to me”

“How?” I grin as his head comes closer to mine

“Like this” he smiles before placing his lips onto mine. I opened my mouth allowing him to slip his tongue in, massaging it with mine.

“I can think of better ways” I whisper, sinking my hand into his boxers.

“Fuck me” he moaned quietly, pushing his lips back onto mine as I began to pleasure him.

“Guys you ready to start drinking?” I heard Luke shout so quickly removed my hand.

“Yea, just talking to Dan. Give us a min” I shout back

“Okay…well we’re gona go grab that extra crate of beer from the car”

“Okay”

I turned round and Dan pulled me back to him, “We are going to have to be quick and quiet”

“Fine by me” I whispered as I pulled down his pants as he pulled down mine.

“Fucking hell” Dan whispered as he was lay down on the sleeping bags.

I got up and got dressed quickly.

“ get up” I laugh at him lay naked on the floor.

“ I’m trying to get my breath back” he laughed.

“Try faster” I laugh pulling him up

“We went faster if I remember rightly”

“Yea well, we had to be quick” I wink at him handing him his clothes. I checked my hair and make-up as Dan quickly sorted himself out before we walked outside.

“What took you so long?” Evie asked looking at us.

“I had something to tell him, now I need to tell you” I say walking over to the camp chair placed next to Evie as Dan sat down next to Luke.

“What is it ?”

“It’s me and Jayden” I say

“You’re back together with him?” Evie says

“Err not yet, but when we get back we’re going to try again” I smile, and I see Dan look down at his beer before taking a large gulp.

“ I don’t understand, he cheated on you though” Luke asks looking at me concerned

“It’s a long story, but we’re giving us another go” I smile

“As long as you’re happy” Evie grinned at me before pulling me into a hug, making us nearly fall off our chairs.

“I am” I reply smiling

“So have you finished it with your shag buddy then?” she whispers and I nod

“Yea we’re over” I reply and Dan stands up and walks off.

“Dan where you going?” Luke shouts and goes after him. Leaving me and Evie sat there watching them walk off.

“What’s up with Dan?” Evie asked me

“I duno”

“Well you were just with him for like half an hour, how did he react to you telling him about Jayden?”

“He’s not too happy about it. He thinks Jayden will cheat again and that I can do better”

“But you were cheating on him as well”

“Yes I know” I sigh looking at her before drinking some of my beer.

“Does Dan know about that lad?” she asks me. Do I tell her?

“No he doesn’t he’ll think bad of me.”

“No he won’t ”

“Eve’s I know him, he would kick off big time”

“I wonder where they’ve gone?” Evie says looking into the crowd.

“I duno, they’ll be back soon”

Half an hour later the lads stroll back laughing and joking.

“Everything okay Dan?” Evie asked as he sat down.

“Yea” he smiles but not looking at me.

“What was up?”

“Some slag he was shagging has ended it, that’s all.” Luke replied and I almost choked on my drink.

Did Dan really think I was some little slag?

“I’m going the toilets, be back in a minute” I say not looking at any of them and getting up out my chair walking away.

I didn’t need the toilets but I needed to get some fresh air. Sounds weird considering we were outside but I needed to get away from him.

I just stood there in a crowd of people for a couple of minutes trying to pull myself together. Dan always told me that I wasn’t a slag and I believed him, but in that one moment where Luke unknowingly called me the slag that was shagging Dan, I felt like pure scum.

I wiped the tears from my cheeks, hoping I looked okay when someone passed me a mirror.

“Oh thanks” I smile at the girl

“No problem hun.” she smiled

I checked my appearance and made sure that my eyes weren’t blood shot and my make-up wasn’t ruined before passing it back to her.

“Thank you for that”

“It’s fine hun, have a nice day” she smiled and I smiled back before returning to where we were camping.

“How big are the queues?” Evie asked me.

“Not too big” I reply before walking into the tent and grabbing my phone from my bag.

I could sense someone stood in the same room as me, I knew it was Dan.

“What do you want?” I snap, not looking up from my phone.

“To apologise”

“You have nothing to apologise for”

“About what Luke said...” he began.

“Forget about it Dan, you just confirmed everything I felt about myself, about this situation anyway.”

“Liv no...”

“Dan leave it, from here on now...we are nothing but friends...okay” I snap before brushing past him and grabbing another drink from the cooler.

“What’s wrong?” Evie asked me as I sat down next to her.

“Nothing” I smile at her

“, I can sense something is wrong with you”

“It’s nothing really Evie” I smile “So who’s performing later?”

“No one special but theres the funfair and a roller disco. Or we can just drink here”

“U2 are headlining tomorrow night and Tinie Tempah is on as well” Luke replied

A while later I was feeling rather drunk and getting bored.

“I’m going for a wander, Eve’s you fancy it?”

“I’m okay right here ” she slurs prising her lips away from Luke’s for a second before kissing him again.

“I’ll come” Dan says to me.

“It’s okay, I’ll go on my own” I reply walking off leaving him there with the couple.

*Dan POV*

This weekend was meant to be just me and Liv enjoying our time together before we ended our friends with benefits, so she could get back with Jayden. The thing was, I really didn’t want her getting back together with him. He’ll only hurt her and I couldn’t stand the thought of that. I wanted to protect her, I wanted her to be with me...when I found out she was single, I thought this was my chance to end it with Amy and then maybe try things officially with Liv. But things didn’t work out the way I planned.

When I heard Liv say to Evie, “Yea we’re over” it was like someone had stabbed me in the heart. I walked off, needing some space but Luke followed. So I made up some bull shit about how I cheated on Amy with this girl who I really like and now she’s ended it. Luke called her a slag for shagging about and I didn’t stop him, I never thought he would blurt it out to the girls when we got back. As soon as the words left his lips I saw the pain almost instantaneous on Liv’s face. I knew that this is what she thought I thought of her. She walked off and I just had to sit there like nothing was bothering me, I just wanted to run over, pull her into my arms and kiss her, tell her everything Luke said wasn’t true and that I wanted to be with her...not Amy. But I couldn’t.

Now she wouldn’t even talk to me.

I was heartbroken.
