I grabbed my phone, ipod and key’s and walked downstairs.

“You going now?” Dan asks pausing the football.

“Yea, gona walk round, try clear my head a bit”

“You want me to meet you afterwards?”

“I’ll txt you. Might just need time on my own” I smile at him.

“Okay ” he smiles getting up off the sofa and hugging me.

I pull away and kiss his cheek. “What was that for?” he blushes

“For everything” I smile and walk out the flat and down the road to Jayden’s.

After about twenty minutes I got to his Uni apartment block.

[Hey J can you come down and let me in? x]

[Coming now! J x]

A couple of minutes later he came and opened the door letting me in.

I smiled slightly at him as he opened the door and began walking up to his flat. I stopped when I got to his door and he unlocked it letting me in before going into his room.

I stood by his desk not saying anything, this was so awkward.

“So” Jayden says breaking the silence

“Yea” I say turning to face him. He was sat on his bed so “ went over and sat on the end.

“So why?” I ask him

“I duno, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have cheated.”

“Yea well you did” I say shrugging my shoulders

“Well you were seeing someone else as well” he says to me.

I sigh and nod, “I’m sorry.”

We just looked at each other in silence for a couple of seconds. I didn’t know what to say. I thought I wouldn’t be bothered if we broke up...but “ am.

“I’m not with Katy…the girl you caught me with…I’m not with her…I was just seeing her” Jayden says after a couple of seconds “I want to give us a proper go if you do ?”

“As in another chance?” I smile at him and he nods

“I really like you”

“I really like you as well Jay” I smile. That was the truth. Plus I needed to get rid of these feeling I have for Dan.

“So I say we give us another go, properly. I’ll see less of my Uni mates and we can spend more time together”

“Yea okay. Well I’m not here this weekend, I’m off to GlDanbury with Dan, Luke and Evie. So as of Tuesday I am all yours” I grin

“Well as of Tuesday we are officially together.”

“I’d like that. But you can’t keep seeing Katy”

“I won’t. But you need to stop seeing that lad as well”

“Yea I will.” I smile and he pulls me into a hug kissing my cheek. How was I gona tell Dan I had to end it? It was only fair if I was to give mine and Jay’s relationship a proper go together and he could concentrate on his relationship with Amy.

The only thing is though...could I keep myself away from Dan?

I did live with him and he was my best friend.

I feel Jay’s lips linger on my cheek pulling away and looking me in the eyes. He leant in slightly towards my lips before I leant in the rest of the way. It was short but sweet. I pulled away smiling.

“Okay , I best get back. Still need to pack” I smile getting off his bed.

“Okay , well txt me when you’re home. I’ll come round to see you.” He replies getting up off his bed and kissing me again.

“Will do” I smile “See you later”

“Have fun”

I begin to walk home...my head was confused. I wanted to be with Jayden, I wanted our relationship to work out. But I wanted Dan. I was in love with Dan.

No Liv snap out of it, he is your best friend. You were only together for sex, that’ll just have to stop. We can go back to the way it used to be, I’m sure of it.
