I slipped my dress back on as Dan got changed. “I love it when you take charge like that” Dan smirked at me through the mirror.

“I’ll remember that for next time” I wink at him

“I can’t wait”

I made sure that I looked presentable in the mirror before walking towards his door.

“Before you go” Dan grinned, pinning me up against the wall pushing his lips onto mine. I opened up my mouth allowing his tongue to brush against mine.

“Better” I grin pulling away gently

“Much better. But I seem to have bitten down on your neck” he grinned

“Ahh Dan. How am I gona get away with that?” I laugh looking at it in the mirror.

“I’ll think of something” he winked at me following me out his bedroom door. We made our way downstairs laughing and joking, acting completely normal. Maybe this friends with benefits was going to work.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed myself another drink and walked into the garden where Dan was talking to Evie.

“Hey” I smile at them and Dan winks at me cheekily.

“Oh my god Liv” Evie laughed at me grabbing my neck, she’d spotted it.

“What?” I ask

“You have a love bite, who you been kissing?”

“Errr...” I say looking at the floor. How the hell was I gona get out of this?

“I bit her” Dan laughed and my eyes widened at him.

“Why the hell would you give her a hicky?” Evie looked at him weirdly.

“We were messing around and she grabbed my bollocks, so I got my revenge” he grinned.

“You two need to stop touching each other” Evie laughed at us.

“Blame him, he’s always horny” I cheekily grin at him.

“True. Anymore slags coming to pay you a visit anytime soon?” Evie grinned.

“No none, I’m a changed man”

“Yea okay” she laughs rolling her eyes at him and he winks at me.

We carried on drinking the night away and I got talking to a friend of Luke’s, his name was Jayden. I wasn’t sure where Dan was, last time I saw him he was chatting to his ex-girlfriend Amy. I don’t know why she was even here. She hated me as much as I hated her; and she didn’t like how close me and Dan were.

I stumbled up the stairs as everyone began to leave, it was about five in the morning and the sun was coming up. My hand was holding someone’s as I walked into my bedroom. I shut my door behind me and took off my dress leaving me in my underwear.

“Wow”

I turned to see Jayden stood by my wardrobe in his boxers.

I smiled at him and slipped on my bed top, climbing into bed as he stood there.

“You getting in?” I slurred and he nodded getting in the other side.

He began kissing up my neck and onto my lips. I pushed my tongue into his mouth as his hand began to rise up my leg.

I wasn’t ready for anything to happen yet, “Not just yet hey” I smile at him and he nods moving his hand to my waist and pushing his lips onto mine.

“Night ” he whispered

“Night Jay”

I turned over and he wrapped his arms around me.

Dan’s bedroom was above mine and I could hear his bed banging on the wall. “Oh Dan.”

“Yes Amy yes” I could hear him moaning. A spark of jealously ran through my veins, out of everyone why did he have to fuck her.

I turned over and pushed my lips onto Jayden’s, running my hand down his body. It was nice don’t get me wrong...but it wasn’t Dan’s. My hand reached the top of his boxers before sinking it in.

“You sure about this ?” he moaned stroking up my thigh and I nodded pulling his lips back to mine. I just wanted to stop hearing Dan fuck the one girl I hated most in this world, the one girl who could pull us apart.

I woke up in the morning wrapped in Jay’s arms. I felt him kiss my head lightly as my eyes flickered open.

“Morning ” he smiled

“Morning”

“How you feeling?” he asked stroking my head.

“Good, considering how much I drank” I smiled, “How you feeling?”

“Really good. So you going to let me take you on that date later?”

“Yes. But can we start from the beginning. I know we had sex last night but I’m not usually that kinda girl.”

“Hey , that’s fine with me. I really like you and hope we can take us further. So slow is good”

“Thanks Jay” I smile and kiss him again, “I really like you as well”

I got out of bed and slipped on my PJ top and walked downstairs. Jayden linked his fingers through mine and I smiled at him, he was so cute.

I liked him.

“Morning.” I say walking into the kitchen

Luke was stood there against the kitchen counter, his arms wrapped around a small, petite blonde.

“Errr” he replied before turning his head to me and I gasped.

“Evie” I nervously laughed at them

“Erm” she grinned burying her head into Luke’s chest.

“Okay spill” I say folding my arms across my chest as Jayden wraps his around my waist, resting his head on my shoulder.

Luke linked his fingers with my sisters and smiled down at her, how had I not seen this coming.

“Err well-we’ve-kinda-been-seeing-each-other-in-secret. Seeing how it goes before we told anybody”

“For how long?” I ask

“About four months” she sighs

“‘I can’t believe you didn’t tell me” I say upset

“I just wanted to make sure nothing went wrong. We’ve been best friends since playgroup.”

“I’m you’re twin though, not just some random friend” I say and walk off to my room upset. Leaving Jayden to talk with Evie and Luke downstairs.

I sat on the floor behind my door, completely shocked and upset that my two best friends are together and failed to tell me about it.

“What” I reply as someone knocked on my door.

“ let me in”

It was Dan.

I moved away from the door and he came in. I moved back closing my door with my back. Dan grabbed my feet with his hands.

“Move them” I laugh at him but he drags me by my feet over to him.

“You okay?” he asks me pulling me into a hug

“Yea, just shocked they never told me”

“Yea I know.”

“Did you know?” I ask him

“No, Luke didn’t tell me either. He must really like her you know”

“I just can’t believe she didn’t tell me, we’re twins we tell each other everything”

“Not everything” Dan replied

“Meaning?” I ask him

“Us” he reminds me and I nod.

“I just don’t want him hurting her”

“He won’t, he’s your best friend. You know him well”

“Yea I know, but I know what you and him are like with girls”

“What does that mean?”

“Both players. Dan you were shagging Amy last night literally hours after being with me. You all just use people for sex”

“Hey we are only together for sex, remember we said that and I’m back with Amy now”

“Oh great,”

“ don’t be like that”

“Be like what? You know how much she hates me and how much trouble she caused us last time” I sighed

“She’s changed”

“That I highly doubt, girls like her don’t change.” I sigh, “Just don’t come to me in tears when she cheats on you again”

“She won’t” he smiles, “I trust her”

“Well I don’t. Wouldn’t trust her as far as I could throw her…but you know I’ll always be here for you, best friends yea” I smile

“Always ”

“Please make sure she doesn’t come between us this time” I say to him as he pulls me into a hug.

“Never, you know how sorry I was about last time. Plus this time we’re different, we have a different relationship. Stronger.”

“Very true” I smile and he kisses me on the lips gently.

“Come on, let’s go congratulate the happy couple” he smiles holding my hand in his

“Okay”

We walk down the stairs and into the kitchen and Evie runs over to me and hugs me tight. “I’m so sorry I never told you”

“It’s okay” I smile

“I wanted to tell you so much but...”

“ it’s fine. But in future don’t you dare hide anything from me okay”

“Okay” she grinned

“So congratulations guys”

“Thank you” Luke grins coming over and hugging me and Evie.
