*Evie’s POV*
“You bitch” Joe shouted after Liv had smacked him across the face, and quite rightly too. Think she beat Dan to it by a millisecond.
The next second I see him backhand her, she fell backwards into our table, her head hitting it before anything else.
“Liv” I screamed rushing over to her, she wasn’t moving and had a cut on her forehead which was gushing out blood down her face. I wasn’t sure what was going on with the boys but they had taken it outside.
“Is she okay?” A girl asked me handing me a cloth for her head.
“I duno, can you ring an ambulance please” I say panicking and pressing the cloth to her head.
“One is one the way” another member of staff spoke. I glanced up to see her looking at us, “I called them when I saw her fall”
“Thank you” I smile
“Hey , wake up” I say stroking Liv’s head gently. “Wake up Liv.” I watch her eyes slowly flicker open and panic struck her face.
“Shh , it’s okay. Just lie there”
“No, I’m fine” she insisted like the stubborn thing she is. Another thing we are alike in, being stubborn. I let her sit up slowly, keeping the cloth firmly pressed on her head.
“Ouch” Liv moaned
“Sorry” I sighed, releasing some of the pressure
About ten minutes later a very good looking paramedic walked through the door.
“Over here” I shout and he walks over to us
“Hey darling, my name’s Ryan. How you feeling?” he asks her
“It hurts”
“Are you feeling dizzy or sick?” he replied shining a small light into her eyes.
“Dizzy a bit, don’t feel sick though”
“Okay, can you stand up?”
“I can try”
I placed my arm around Liv’s waist, steadying her to her feet. The hot paramedic grabbed her arm and led her outside, I was right behind them.
“Cheers” I smile at the staff as I walk out
“Oh my god” Luke says coming over with a red mark to his cheek.
“I’m fine” Liv smiled as she stepped into the ambulance, holding the cloth to her head
“Where’s Dan?” I ask Luke and he nodded behind him where I saw Dan talking to a police man.
“What going on?”
“Joe’s been arrested for assault on Liv.”
“Good. So why is Dan talking to the police?”
“Telling them what happened. I have to speak to them in a minute”
“Okay, well I better go with Liv. I’ll let you know what happens at the hospital.”
“We’ll come straight over when we’re done. No doubt Dan will want to see Liv.”

“Yes he will” I smile giving him a hug and he places a kiss against my cheek. I climb into the back of the ambulance, sitting next to Liv linking my fingers through hers. Dan and Liv were incredibly close, closer than me and Luke. But no way near as close and me and Liv. She was my twin; I knew ever little detail about her and vice versa. We even could sense each other sometimes which was weird. Like when I broke my left arm falling out a tree when we were seven. Liv was complaining her left arm was aching as well, the doctor said it can happen with twins, especially identical ones like us. Something happens to one twin and the other can sense it or feel it. I hope it doesn’t happen if one of us gives birth.
“This is going to need stitches” Ryan says taking a closer look at the cut on Liv’s head.
“No needles?” Liv quickly says and I squeeze her hand. Neither of us like needles, she doesn’t like blood, I don’t like sick. We are different in some ways...only some.
Twenty minutes later we get to the hospital and the other paramedic gets a wheelchair for Liv to sit in.
“I am not sitting in that” Liv laughs getting out the ambulance.
“It’s a safety precaution we have to take with head injuries” Ryan says to us
“Fine” she sighs and sits down getting pushed into A&E.
“I’ll sign you in” I say walking over to the reception and giving in Liv’s details.
“Eve’s I don’t feel well” Liv moaned holding her head. The colour had drained from her face, she looked like a ghost. Please don’t be sick.
I saw Ryan, the hot paramedic walk towards the exit “Ryan” I shouted and he turned around and walked over at a hurried pace.
“She feels sick” I say and he grabs a cardboard tub off the side just in time for Liv to be sick into. I turned away as Ryan looked after her, she didn’t need me passing out right now.
“I’m taking her though to be seen now” he says to me and I nod following quickly behind him.

*Dan POV*
“Come on Luke, drive faster” I moaned at him
“I’m going as fast as I can mate”
I needed to make sure she was okay. We eventually pulled up in the hospital car park and we rush into A&E. I pull out my phone and txt
Evie.
[ where are you? xx]
*buzz buzz*
[Ward 4 :/ xx]
“They’re on ward four” I say to him as we search the corridors.

“Luke, Dan” I heard Evie call and we walked into the room. We go over and hug Evie as Liv was sat on the bed scrunching up her face as the nurse stitched her head up.
“How she doing?” I ask Evie
“She’s fine now, she was ill and dizzy before but now she’s back to normal and mouthing off” she laughed
“Shut up” Liv laughed, “Ouch”
“Sorry” the nurse replied “Nearly done.”
We sat down on the chairs waiting for the nurse to finish. “Okay all done. You need to wait here for the doctor to say your all clear to go as you were sick before.”
“I’m fine” Liv insisted to the nurse.
“Well that’s up to the doctor to decide” she smiled and walked out the cubical.
“So how you feeling ?” I ask Liv sitting on the edge of her bed, holding her hand in mine. Stroking my thumb gently over the top.
“I’m fine, got a head ache but I’m fine” she smiles at me but then it fades “Oh Dan your eye” she says reaching out touching my face.
“Yea, Joe got a punch in after I threw him outside!” I smiled
“He’s such a twat.” She says through gritted teeth
“Well the police have him now ” Luke smiles
“Oh no you as well” she sighs looking at Luke’s red cheek.
“Yea, but don’t worry. You should see him” he winked at her making her smile.
“Whatever you saw in him , I don’t know” I say to her and she nods.
“Oh well, mistake made and lesson definitely learnt from.”
*Liv’s POV*
I was finally allowed home, I had to go back if I felt dizzy or sick. It was a precaution as it was a head injury. I got into the back of Luke’s car with Evie and we drove home.
“More movies?” I ask walking down the stairs after getting changed into my PJ shorts and top.
“Sure” Evie smiles and I curl up next to her on the sofa.
“You two are so alike” Dan smiles at us sat next to Luke on the other sofa.
“Well this may be news to you , but we are identical twins” I laugh at him.
“Yea duh, I have known you both since like what we were three.” He smiles at us
“So what’s your point?” Evie asks
“I duno, I don’t think you are alike. I can easily tell you apart but I duno you just look similar sat there. Apart from stitches there”
“Shut up Dan” I giggle, he was so random sometimes. One of the many reasons he was my best friend.
We put on friends from the beginning and began working our way through the series.
“Okay I’m gona cook us something for tea” I smile standing up.
“You sure you’re up for it?” Evie asks me
“I’m fine , plus we’re gona starve if we don’t eat soon”
“Okay. What we having?”
“I’m thinking mum’s spag boll” I grin
“Oh yes, I love it when you make that” Dan grins
“Yes, totally agree with you there.” Luke smiles
“Okay I’ll get making it then” I smile and walk into the kitchen pulling a bag of mince out of the freezer and putting it into the frying pan listening to it sizzle.
I grabbed all the other ingredients out of the cupboards placing them on the side before boiling the kettle ready for the pasta.
“You want any help ?” I heard Dan ask before feeling his arms wrap around my waist, his head on my shoulder.
“If you want to.” I smile turning my head to look at him.
“Put me to work” he grinned
“Okay pasta in the pan”
“This much enough?” he asks and I roll my eyes at him.
“You do realise that pasta expands, you’ve put enough in to feed the five thousand” I giggle
“Ahh shit, sorry” he smiled
“It’s fine”
I put the bolognaise onto simmer as the pasta cooked, leaning against the counter sipping on my wine that Dan had just passed me.
“How you feeling?” Dan asked me.
“Okay now, nothing paracetamol won’t solve.” I smile.
“Does it hurt?” he asks stroking my stitches gently with his fingers.
“Only when you touch it” I smile and he drops his hand.
“Sorry ”
“It’s fine Dan, I’m kidding.”
“I’m so sorry I couldn’t stop him from hurting you”
“ it’s fine. It’s not your fault I chose to go out with a crazy person.”
“Suppose” he smiled pulling me into a hug.
We carried on chatting away whilst dinner cooked. It wasn’t awkward between us at all after last night which I was grateful for. I was worried that after we had slept together our relationship would change, but it hadn’t. If anything I felt closer to him.
“Foods up guys” I shout through, placing it onto the plates. Evie and Luke walk through and sit down at the table.
I placed the plates in front of them as Dan handed them their wine.
“What’s with all the pasta” Luke laughed
“Blame Jamie Oliver over there” I nod towards Dan.
“I tried to guess” he smiled
“He put in the whole packet” I laughed sitting down next to him at the table.
“To friendship” Evie smiles putting her glass in the air and we all clink out glasses with hers
“To friendship”
“Love you guys” I smile
“Love you too ” Dan smiles, cheekily winking at me before tucking into our meal.
