I must have been too busy singing into my hairbrush to hear my door knocking. I just felt two arms around my waist and someone kiss my neck ever so gently.

I turned off my hair dryer and the volume of my music before turning around to look at him.

“Yes?” I say to him folding my arms across my chest.

“I’m so sorry about this morning”

“Yea well” I sigh shrugging my shoulders “You said it”

“I didn’t mean what I said about you. Just that you were calling me a slut and I didn’t like it”

“Well you are Dan and you can’t deny it. You were shagging that girl earlier.”

“Yea I know. I’m sorry I didn’t mean what I said to you.”

“I know, but it hurt what you said. You’ve never been like that with me before”

“I duno what made me snap, I’m so sorry. You’re so good for not sleeping about, getting a bad rep like me. Plus I’d end up beating up too many lads then for breaking my best friends heart” he smiled placing his hand over my heart on my chest

I smile and kiss his cheek, “How can I stay mad at my best friend when you say things like that”

“I know” he winked at me, “Plus I got to feel your boob”

“Perv” I laugh pushing him off me

“You’re the one stood here in your underwear...which I have to say is hot”

“Dan stop it, I’m getting embarrassed” I say trying to cover my body

“No need to hide it, I’ve seen you before plus this image is now burnt into my memory forever.”

“You aren’t meant to look at me like that, you’re my best friend” I laugh grabbing my dressing gown from my door.

“So…that doesn’t mean I’m not going to have a cheeky wank over this later”

“Ewww Dan really?” I say rolling my eyes at him pushing him out my door and he laughed.

“You know you love me” he smiles pulling me into a hug

“Unfortunately, that I do” I giggle “Now go or I’m going to be late”

I shut my door and carry on doing my hair. I decide on curling it before slipping on my new skin tight black low cut dress. I put on my trusty comfy heels before going downstairs to be greeted by Evie wearing a one shoulder coral dress.

“You look stunning” I smile at her as she passes me a drink

“Same to you Eve’s”

“So what’s this?” I ask sipping my drink

“It’s a woo woo”

“It’s well nice,” I smile drinking some more.

“Wow girls you both look gorgeous, as always” Luke grinned at us walking into the kitchen

“Thanks Luke” we both say at the same time making us laugh

“Not heard you do the twin talk in a while”

“Love it” I grinned

“Love what?” Dan asked walking into the kitchen and looking me up and down

“Being a twin Perv” I wink at him

“Always am with you” he smiled hugging me

“You two made up then?” Evie asked us as Dan wrapped his arms around me from behind

“Of course, she can’t stay mad at me for long”

“Shut up you” I laugh elbowing him in the stomach and he began tickling me.

Evie and Luke walked into the living room leaving us to mess around like we usually did.

“Ahh Dan stop it. I don’t want to spill my drink”

He stopped tickling me and I placed my drink on the side.

“You look so hot tonight” Dan whispered down my ear, sending goosebumps all over my body.

Why was my body reacting this way to him today? He was just my friend.

“Why thank you best friend” I smile wrapping my arms around his neck and kiss his cheek leaving a red lipstick mark.

“I’d best get rid of that before your date gets here” I wink at him smiling

“I cancelled it” he says to me, his arms still wrapped around the bottom of my back as I rubbed the mark away

“How come?”

“I need to get rid of this player image I seem to have gotten, and I don’t like that you think that of me”

“Dan it’s your life don’t let me hold you back from having fun”

“I am having fun, but I don’t need to shag about as much as I do. It’s time to change”

“Don’t change on my account Dan”

“What if I wanted to?”

I smiled at him and he smiled back, I was getting lost in his eyes. They were so beautiful. Dan was leaning in closer to me and I was to him. Butterflies were flapping about everywhere in my stomach right about now.

Was he about to kiss me?

“Girls are here” Evie shouted from the living room, and I pulled gently out of his grip.

“Okay coming now” I replied and smiled at Dan before walking out the room totally confused about how I felt about my best friend.

What was just about to happen?

Ruby, Erin, Megan and Paige came round for a couple of drinks as the lads went upstairs, before we got a taxi into town.

“Where first?” Ruby asks getting out

“Let’s go Buzz” Evie smiles

“I love the cocktails in that bar” Megan grins as we all cross the road and head into Buzz to begin our night.

“What can I get you ladies?” the bar man asks us.

“Six Woo Woo’s please” Paige cheekily grins at him

“As in glasses or pitchers?” he asks, she looks at us then shouts “Pitchers” at him making us all burst out laughing. Tonight was going to be a very drunken one.

We drank our drinks before heading to a couple of other bars for more cheap drinks.

“Movida?” I ask as we walk out of Shooters.

“Yea let’s go” Erin slurs

Lights were flashing everywhere and I could feel the music vibrating under my feet. We headed straight to the bar before dancing the night away.

“You coming back to mine tonight baby?” This lad called Andy asked me, who I’d kissed with a couple of times this evening.

“No”

“Aww come on baby, we can carry on from here”

“I’m not that kinda girl, so you’re best leaving now and finding someone else or enjoying a night with your hand” I reply to him and he walked off in a sulk

“Taxi” I shouted outside of the club. Evie was so drunk; I was drunk but no way near as bad.

I handed the girls some money as they dropped us off outside our house.

“I’m gona be sick” Evie mumbled just before she threw up.

“Come on .” I say opening up the door and pushing her inside before dragging her upstairs. I changed her into some PJ’s before lying her on her side putting a bucket by the side of her bed in case she didn’t make the bathroom in time.

I put on her bathroom light and left the room, shutting the door behind me. I walked downstairs into the kitchen and got myself a glass of water. I sat down at the breakfast bar sipping away, trying to stop the room from spinning.

“What you doing up so late?” I ask Dan as he walks into the kitchen minutes later.

“I’ve been out with Chris and CHRIS” he slurs walking over to me smiling cheekily.

“Didn’t see you out?” I say handing him my glass of water getting myself another one

“We stayed at the pub near Chris’s” he smiles drinking the glass of water

“Ahh cool.” I smile leaning against the counter. “You have a good night?”

“Yea, was fun. What about you?”

“Eugh, was alright. Some lad was trying it on but it’s all good” I smile

“Do I have to go take care of him?” he asks rubbing his hands together

“No, it’s fine. I put him in his place” I giggled

“That’s my girl” Dan grinned at me walking over, placing his hands on my hips. I glanced down at them then into his eyes.
