-Cassie's POV-

I was sitting in a chair while my whole entire family was surrounding me staring into my eyes. I felt like I was some science experiment. They even got a doctor to check up on me and they said I was completely fine. They didn't know why my eyes were this color.

"This is weird." Jay spoke up breaking the silence.

"Yes indeed, maybe the wolves bane did this to her?" Toby spoke.

"There was no case like this before though?" Elliot said. The three of them got really close to my face and I leaned back. Now they are being absolutely ridiculous.

"Well I don't care if her eyes are purple, green or yellow. What matters is that she's alive!" My mom wrapped her arms around my neck hugging me. However I can feel a very deadly aura emitting from her.

"Me and you are going to have a long talk you hear me." She spoke lowly. I nodded my head and she pulled back with a scary smile on her face.

Let's just say the moment my family heard I woke up they gave me the biggest scolding of the century. Couldn't even get a hello, how are you? How do you feel? It was straight to scolding and all I could do was sit there and listen to them.

"Shift." I looked around confused but it seemed like they didn't speak into my mind. I shook my head, that was weird.

"Cassie shift into your wolf."I stood up from my chair and began walking to the door against my will literally.

"Where are you going?" My dad asked me.

"I'm not controlling my body! It's moving on it's own!" I cried out.

The moment I stepped outside my body began to shift. This shifting hurt, it's as if I was shifting for the first time. I growled out and down onto the cool grass. Yes this feels so much better. Everyone stepped outside, all of their faces looked beyond confused. I whined indicating what was wrong with them.

"Why is your wolf white now? You used to be a golden color?" Toby asked.

I looked at my paws and saw white fur, my mouth fell open I'm not lying. I looked back at them in panic and started to walk in circled to confirm that I was indeed now a white wolf. What the fuck happened to my beautiful golden fur! White fur literally get's dirty so quickly!

"I think it looks very chic." Addie spoke for the first time since I woke up.

"No what happen! And where did you learn the word chic from?" I asked confused.

"That is not the point Cassie." She's right, because technically she's only 6 years old since I first shifted.

"You don't like it? We look like twins now!" There it was that unknown voice in my head!

I started to shift back into my human form and my mom handed me a blanket to cover myself. I wrapped it around and was beyond horrified. No wonder shifting hurt so bad, I got this unknown new wolf form.

"I don't know what happened? Maybe the wolves bane did do this!" I cried out hysterically.

"Calm down." This time that voice was in my head because everyone heard that.

A blinding light appeared and we all covered out eyes with our hands. Once it disappeared that familiar long white haired women stood in front of us with her arms crossed. She looked disappointed for some reason.

"I can't believe you don't like it! Do you know how rare white wolves are?" Nyx snapped.

"Could've gave me a warning Nyx!" I retorted and we both had a staring contest.

"I'm sorry to intrude, but who is she?" Elliot interjected.

"Oh sorry, I am the moon goddess nice to meet you my little pups." Nyx introduced herself as she held her hand to shake on it.

"I don't know if I should be offended that she call us her little pups." Toby whispered into my ear.

"I'm telling you she's not mentally sane." I whispered back. Which earned a little smack on the upside of my head by Nyx and I let out a grumble of curse words.

"Thanks to me, you're awake and alive. Almost had to fight with the reaper himself to keep you alive." She scoffed. I admit thanks to her I am awake so I should give her a little bit of respect.My mom walked passed us and grabbed Nya's hand tightly with a thankful look.

"Thank you so much! Thank you fro bringing her back!" My mom said. Nyx eyes softened and she glanced to the side almost bashful.

"Why can't she be like her mother." Nyx muttered.

"I heard that!" I snapped. Nyx shrugged her shoulders and gave my mom a hug. She even had the audacity to stuck her tongue out at me.

"Whatever, but can you fix my eyes. I want them to go back to it's orange." I pointed at my eyes.

"No can do kid, those are now your werewolf eyes." Nyx pulled back from my mom and began walking up to me.

"What why?!" First she changed my wold without permission now my eyes too!

"Because those eyes means you're apart of me now, if I didn't do that you would've definitely died. You're kind of my host and your eyes are a doorway for me to even let my feet touch these earthy grounds.

"But why me?" I questioned.

"Considering your bloodline because of your mother, you were a perfect host. Also I took a great liking towards you." Nyx smiled at me.

I let my head hang, so now I'm apart of her whether I like it or not. I can just tell this is going to be a big headache for me. Yes I'm thankful that she saved me from death's door but isn't this a bit too much. Nyx hand covered my eyes and then she took them away.

"There it's back to brown, your new purple eyes will only come out when your wolf surfaces. You just have to learn how to adjust to your new power. You're stronger than a regular werewolf now because of me." Nyx patted my back while laughing. My eye twitched out in annoyance and I faced her with deadly look.

"I'm so glad." I laughed out sarcastically. Nyx threw her arms around me pulling me close to her.

"You don't know how much fun we're about to have with each other." Nyx laughed out again.

I stared at myself in the mirror, I stretched out my eye to make sure it was brown. Then I let Addie come to the surface a bit, my eyes started to glow a light purple. I pushed her back and my eyes went back to brown.

This is so freaky.

It's been a week since I awoken and everything was not normal. First things first Nyx pops out of nowhere to annoy me. She said in the heavenly realms it's boring to her, so she desperately wanted to interact with humans. Apparently the other gods wouldn't let her, because in her words she's very mischievous. Thus she found a loophole through me.

Now today is my first day back to school. I got the all clear from the doctors that I can go about my life. The one thing I'm dreading is the amount of work I have to catch up on. That is going to give me so much stress.

"Cassie." I turned around and saw David peeking form the doorway.

"Hey kid, had a good sleep?" I asked him as I walked up to him.

"Yes I did! Are you going to school?" He asked. I nodded my head and he started to smile.

My mom and dad pretty much adopted him into this household. Which I don't mind, I always wanted a little sibling. Hell we are even trying to reestablish order to his former pack so when he get's older he can take it over and be it's rightful alpha. Toby and Jay didn't mind taking him under their wind, they call themselves the 3 alpha pack.

Conry asses I swear.

"Let's go eat breakfast." I ruffled his hair and started to walk down stairs with him following behind me. I ate a simple bowl of cereal while he ate some pancakes my mom made.

I took my time eating just letting my mind wandered around. I didn't know I was asleep for a month, it felt like forever but I didn't know it was a month. I could tell since I lost a bit of weight from just laying there. I have to get my body back in tip top shape again.

"Exactly as my host you got to keep a strong body." Nyx was standing next to me and I rolled my eyes. David eyes lit up, he really likes Nyx, like a lot. I think he has a little crush on her.

"Nyx you're back!" David said.

"Yes I am, I came here to bother Cassie a bit." She said and poked my cheek. I had a tight smile and stuffed my mouth with cereal.

"You can play with my right?" David asked her.

"Of course while this little bean go to school, me and you can play around." Nyx said happily. You know Nyx may be a grown in appearance but her heart is like a kid. No wonder the gods didn't want her on earth, she would cause disorder for sure.

"Yeah you do that, have fun you two." I said as I out my bowl in the sink.

I grabbed the keys to my motorcycle and my helmet. Once I laid my eyes on my baby I quickly ran over to it and kind of hugged it. Oh how I miss my baby. I put my helmet on and turned peaches on to life. Now this can make me feel happy.

I kicked up the stand and set my journey off to the school. I'm praying that I can get excused for all the work I miss. Then again I don't mind a challenge, I am smart after all, we learned a new subject pretty much every 2 weeks. So I can definitely catch up if I put my heart into it.

When I arrived to school, there were an unnecessary amount of eyes on me. I ignored them, well tried, but here's the thing it feels like I'm the alien here. I turned off my bike and got off, let's just act cool.

Which failed since I was speed walking to the door. When I say I made a bee line to my locker I did. I tried to hide my presence as small as possible. It feels weird, I don't know how to explain it. I opened my locker and started to put my things away. A shadow loomed over me and I pursed my lips.

"No hello?" I asked.

"Well hello." I turned around to face Elliot and he smiled at me.

"Wow. I had to tell you to say hello." I joked.

"You'll get plenty of hello's in the future." He grabbed my chin and I shook my head.

"Yeah you're right."
