-Cassie's POV-
"Are you nervous?"
"Why would I thee Cassie be nervous?"
"I can hear your heart, it's like...beating erratically."
"Don't need to point it out Elliot!" I scoffed and stared out the car window. It's Monday and no one knows we're official now. Except for my brothers of course, but the school, no one knows. I just know once they see us all of their eyes will be on us.
Of course I'm nervous!
"No need to be nervous, if anyone messes with you. I'll kill them." Elliot smiled widely at me. Well that took a really dark turn of events. Talking about murder already at 8am, nice!
"Aw I feel so safe thank you." I said sarcastically. His hand landed on top of hand and he smiled brightly at me. God there it was that stupid smile that gets me.
"Let's go!" Elliot left the car and I took in a deep breath before exiting too. He walked to my side and grabbed my hand quickly.
My lip twitched, I tried to contain the smile creeping up. We started to walk inside the school, and we were already getting looks from some students wandering around. Then the further we walked the more curious eyes landing on us. Elliot pulled me closer to him as he was trying to protect me and I admit it was kind of cute.
We did eventually made it to my locker, however there was some annoying people standing there. Veronica turned around quickly and her eyes landed on our hands. I saw her nose flare up and her jaws clenched.
"You're fucking kidding me right?!" Veronica snapped.
"I don't know wipe your eyes and maybe you'll believe?" I said.
"So you're mates now?" Ace spoke with a smile, it was a force one.
"Yes we are, is there a problem with it?" Elliot spoke up giving Ace a look.
"No, no congrats. I'm happy for Cassie, who wouldn't." He said. We all stood there unmoving and I was getting a bit annoyed.
"Are you going to move?" I asked as I gestured to my locker. Veronica glared at me and started to walk passed me.
"Watch you back." She warned. I raised my eyebrows and snorted. What a silly little threat from her. What is she going to do? Push me into a ditch again. I looked up at Elliot and he just shook his head.
"Unbelievable." I said.
"Indeed, they're weird." He agreed.
At least we thought the same thing.
-Lunch-
We all decided to go outside for lunch by the courtyard.I was rolling around in the grass because I was bored a bit. Elliot disappeared maybe to get more food so I'm just trying to make up the time being waste away. I might look like a dog rolling on the grass, well I'm in the canine family so it makes sense. However seeing a human do it makes you question what's wrong with them.
Everyone else were by the table that was just a few feet away from me chatting it up. It was indeed very peaceful right now. I felt a small smile lingering on my lips, it's good to see everyone happy.
Elliot finally came back with more food and I rolled towards him. He started to laugh at how stupid I probably look. He sat down next to me and he started to eat his fruit. All I did was just stare up at him, just admiring him like some little puppy. He looked down and handed me a grape to eat.

"Cute." He muttered.
"I know I am." I laughed out confidently. He rolled his eyes and flicked my forehead.
Time passed and lunch was about to be over. Me being the nicest person on earth, I grabbed all their trash and headed to the waste bins. I separated the trash with the things that can be recycled and after I was done with that I headed back to the table.
A sound caught my eyes, I looked behind me to see a little group of people standing near the edge of the forest. My head tilted to the side confused, that's a bit creepy. I sniffed the air trying to catch their scent but there was nothing. They masked it and now the alarm signals were going off in my head. These are not people from mines nor Elliot's pack. I started to make my way by them cautiously and my claws came out. They didn't look right, I mean they just scream danger, but I have to protect these lands. It is my duty.
"Who the hell are you?! You're not allowed to trespass into our land!" I yelled out. One of them took something out and I couldn't figure out what it was for a moment. Not until they threw it towards me, I quickly ran backwards but that was in vain.
"Cassie!" Elliot yelled.
I felt light like a feather, the world was spiraling around me. I felt something grabbed the back of my shirt pulling me down. I landed against the ground roughly and I groaned out in pain. I couldn't hear anything except that ringing sound. Everything sound muffled for a short moment until it slowly got loud again. My hand went to my head cause there was a stinging feeling.
I looked up and black fur filled my vision, immediately I knew it was Elliot. He was growling and it was a warning one. Those people were surrounding us, they had silver knives in their hands. I gritted my teeth and sat up from the ground.
They started to inch towards us and Elliot started to circle around me. He was snapping at anyone who made a move towards us. His eyes were now red indicating his wolf indeed took over. Addie wanted to jump out herself but I suppressed her, not now I don't need to go batshit crazy.
"Give us the girl." One of them demanded. In response Elliot huffed out before howling into the air. All the people looked tensed and then looked at each other. I smelt the warriors from Elliot's pack getting really close to us.
These rogues noticed that this was a lost caused and started to retreat into the forest. Which in that moment I saw the pack warriors running after them. Elliot fur stood up causing him to look bigger and his ears were down. He snarled and howled again into the air. He looked like he wanted to go catch then but he looked back towards me.
"It's ok you can go I'm fine." I reassured.
"No I'll stay they'll handle it." He spoke into my mind. I nodded my head and sighed out. What the fuck was that.
"Are you ok?! Those bastards were in the school too!" Toby ran towards us with some extra clothes and a first aid kit. He was injured at bit too but not as serious as Elliot.
Elliot changed back to his human form and put on the clothes Toby gave him. I saw that he was injured and I quickly went to him. I inspected him and some deep cuts from his torso.

"Shit Elliot! We need to get to the pack doctors now!"I grabbed him and started to drag him to the car.
"I'll heal, I'm more worried about you. You injured your head and your ear is bleeding." Elliot touched my head and I winced in pain.
"We will worry about my ear and forehead later."I muttered. I grabbed the first aid kit from Toby and started to tend to his wounds first. Elliot sat there still, he didn't look like he was in pain but still it worried me.
When I was done Elliot tend to my injuries, I looked around and saw the little crater from the blast. A lot of the students were hurt and I bit my lip in anger. Now who the hell would threaten us?No me? They wanted me and for what? My hands clenched the grass causing it to be pulled out from the ground.
"Calm down, getting riled up won't solve anything." Elliot held my face and I just nodded my head.
No I am going to find out who did this.
-Later-
I was sitting on my bed thinking about what happened to day at school. There's people coming after me, so now everyone by association will be in danger. I do not want that to happen of course. This whole situation was pissing me off to be honest. I shook my head and decided to go down stairs to discuss it with them.
I left my room and went downstairs to see my family discussing what had happen at school today.Rose was there too talking with them. When they noticed my presence they stopped talking and started at me.
"So is there any update?" I asked.
"We will have a meeting with O'Connor about earlier matters. We will be back in a hour or so. Do not leave this area ok. " My dad ordered strictly.
"Okay please be careful." I nodded my head.
"We will." Jay patted my head. They shifted into their wolves and left. I watched as their figures disappear into the wood. I sighed out and faced my mom and Rose. They gave me reassuring smiles.
"I'm going to get some fresh air. " I muttered.
"Ok don't go to far like your father said." My mom patted my back.
I went in the back and walked into the forest. I was walking deeper by the minute. I knew exactly where I was going and that was to the pond I found before. I made it there with ease and took a seat on the grass before laying down. I watched as the clouds float by slowly and I took in a deep breath.
This has to do with the note on my locker obviously. However if they want me they should harm me and not innocent people. I don't care if my life is in danger, I just don't like when people who have nothing to do with this is involved.
I tried to piece everything together, all this started happening ever since Ace came back so he's my number one suspect. I mean everything just lines up to him. Not only that Veronica must be in this plan, after all she did say 'watch you back'. Who knew she would step up her game like this, a deadly one at that.
Fine if she wants to play fire with fire I will.
I stayed there for a good 30 minutes coming up with a plan on how to take them down and many ways came up. Once I was settled with one way to almost kill them I decided to head back to my house. I'll discuss this my family first and proceed with the plan afterwords.
As I got closer to the house there was an unsettling feeling in me. Addie was on edge again and I can't blame her. It was the same feeling at school. I smelt an unfamiliar scent and it wasn't just one but many strangers smells. I kept myself hidden and I saw a van drive off.
Suddenly Jenny and Veronica left my house and I masked my scent quickly trying to keep my presence undercover as much as possible. They were laughing for some unknown reason and something snapped inside of me. Once they did leave completely I quickly went into the house.
"Mom! Rose!" I yelled. Their scent lingered in the home but it wasn't strong at all. The house was a mess and the floorboards were ruined too. Their presence weren't here at all.
My heart was beating erratically and I was just trying to calm myself down. Getting mad won't do me any justice let's just think. I looked around everywhere for clues. I looked into my parents room and brothers. Nothing was found until I went into my room. There was a note on my bed,I couldn't help but let out a laugh. I grabbed the note and read it over.
"I told you we will get you but since you were so hard to get we decided to take people who are precious to you. The clock is ticking you better hurry up before their lives are cut short. "
I crumbled the paper in my hands and Ic an just feel a crazy smile developing. So this how they're playing huh. I admit this is my fault if I didn't leave the house just for a bit I could've fight them off. However even my mom is very much capable of fighting them off so they must've threatened her with my life.
"Ok if they want to play this dirty then I'll just become dirtier." I talked to myself.
I went to my desk and grabbed my knife. I inspected it to make sure it was perfectly sharpened. There's only way to get information out of them. Either torture them to half death or threaten their families. Which I won't do the second option since I don't like involving innocent people.
Torture it is.
I went to my motorcycle and headed to Elliot's pack. I was rather calm way too calm for my own liking. Probably when I do see those two blockheads I might actually go bat shit crazy. We'll see what happens once I arrive there.
It only took 15 minutes to get there and I got off my motorcycle. I took off my helmet and smelt their scents. Elliot's pack mates gave me questioning looks but I ignored them. I calmly made my way to wherever they were at. Which their scents led me to the training grounds, I saw them sparring each other. I walked up to them slowly gripping my helmet in my hands. The noticed my presence and gave me some cocky smirks.
Confident aren't we?
Without much of a thought I slammed my helmet into Jenny's face and she fell down. Veronica looked surprised at first but quickly recovered. She tried to attack me and I easily dodged her punch. I caught her hand and twisted her hand to the side. I proceeded to slam my helmet into her face repeatedly with a blank face.
Jenny scrambled up from the ground and swung at me. I dropped Veronica and took out my knife, I lunged the knife towards her. It grazed her cheek and I repositioned myself quickly. She took out her claws and I admit she looked like some cat trying to scratch me. I exhaled annoyed and grabbed her the neck choking her. I swear my leg behind hers making her fall down.
Arms were wrapped around my neck trying to put me in a chokehold. I bended my body forwards flipping Veronica over. I slammed the knife down into her shoulder and she screamed out in pain.
"Where are they?" I asked calmly.
"I don't know what you're talking about?!" Veronica cried out. I titled my head to the side with raised eyebrows.
"You don't? I guess I have to refresh your memory." I took the knife out of her shoulder ready to plunge it back into the same shoulder. Until a hand caught my wrist pulling me off of her.
I got restrained and I pursed my lips. I dropped the knife and looked to the side with a bored look. Elliot was giving me a look and I growled at him. Which in return he growled back at me trying to make me submit.
"Cassie you can't just come onto my lands and cause havoc!" Elliot cried out. I nodded my head and willingly surrendered. He loosened his grip on me and other pack members came to their aids not knowing what they did. I pulled back one of them who was trying to help Veronica and she fell back on the ground.
"You shouldn't help someone who betrays their pack." I said as I stared down at Veronica. Her eyes were filled with complete fear as she looked back up at me.
Oh this is just the beginning you viper.
-Cassie's Mom POV-
"Aren't you a little too calm that we got kidnapped?" Rose asked me. I can tell she was very nervous but there's nothing to be scared of. I can protect the both of us easily.
"Not my first rodeo, I got kidnapped before. This is hardly nothing to me." I sighed out.
These pieces of shits threatened Cassie's life. There was a hunter ready to shoot an arrow at her that would release silver into her. Of course I wouldn't let that happened, I don't need my child dying because of me. However I was more shocked that Cassie had a lot of enemies, never knew she was this much trouble.
She will get a big talk from me.
"Rose, we will be fine. Knowing Cassie she'll come save us. That child is very smart after all." I smiles at Rose and she just let out a big sigh. I'm more scared for other lives instead, when she get's mad it's a blood bath.
I'll just sit back and watch like how she wanted me to do in the first place.

That's how Cassie's Mom feels when she got kidnapped.
