How Cassie feels

CASSIES POV

I groaned out in pain and curled up into a ball. My god I know pain, this pain was something else. I admit though I can feel my powers coming back to me at least. I opened my eyes and saw my whole family surrounding me with worried looks. All I could muster was a smile to them, but that didn't ease their worries.

"Oh hey...everyone?" I said as I sat up slowly.

"Are you okay!?" My mom asked as she grabbed my hand. I nodded my head and squeezed her hand.

"I'm fine I feel better, I'll heal in no time." I reassured her as much as possible. I can feel three men eyes literally stabbing my head. My father's, Toby and Jay. This is not going to end well.

"I'm killing that bastard and that's final." Toby said with such lifeless eyes and I shivered a bit from his murderous aura.

When Toby get's mad it's a whole different mad. He becomes a monster, he first shifted when there was a rogue attack. One of the wolves attacked me and next thing you know I saw red. No one expected Toby to turn into a ruthless wolf. He was such a sweet delicate boy, I don't know how he became like this.

"Well like I said I-" I stopped and felt an ominous presence. Everyone in the room stiffened, this smell is not from our pack. Who dares to cross our land?

"Rogue." Jay and dad practically ran out of the room. I jumped out of the bed and the dizziness hit. I shook my head trying to clear it. My mom grabbed my hand stopping me.

"It's ok mom I'll be fine. Now you stay inside because it's dangerous." I gave her a firm look and she reluctantly let me go.

I ran outside and saw the 4 rogues. Their smell was vile, when people aren't in your pack especially if they have ill intent it's unbearable. I covered my nose with my arm, god I need to smell an air freshener or something.

My father and Jay already shifted into their wolves, Toby joined them alongside them. I would shift but I do not have the energy for it right now. I felt electricity run through my right arm and I prepared to attack. I got this ability from my mom, and some others too. Jay and Toby have electricity too but that's it.

"Yea get them!" I snapped my head behind me to see mom cheering us on. I looked at her dumbfounded, didn't I tell her to stay inside? Sometimes I think my mom is still a child I swear I think she is. I waved my hand towards her to make a little force field for her own safety.

"Cassie watch out!" I felt the wolf running towards me. I build up the electricity in my hand even more and grabbed the wold snout. I electrified him and made the wolf fall to the ground. I growled at it and it whimpered under me. I admit I have a lot pent up anger right now.

"You four must be crazy to even think about trespassing into our lands." I glowered at the wolf and I can see fear instill into it's eyes. I gave the wolf a crazed smile and let go of it's snout. Toby and Jay were right besides me.

"Have at it." I said I turned on my heels. I heard the rogues wolf's cries of anguish and I nodded my head. No one leaves alive if you trespass.

"That's what you rogues get!" My mom cheered jumping in the air. I gave her look and she totally ignored me.

"Didn't I tell you to stay inside you crazy women!" I yelled at her, my mom jumped and had a cheesy smile plastered all over her lips.

"I mean I was just showing you guys my love and support." My mom grumbled like a little kid. I scoff in amazement she's really is crazy.

"Yeah showing your love and support can get you killed! Next time stay in the house!" I lectured her.

My dad put a hand on my shoulder giving me a sympathetic look. I shook my head and sighed out. First thing that happens when I wake up and this happens. This family is definelty something else. They aren't normal either.

I honestly need a nap.

I was standing in a dark room, I couldn't see anything at all. I titled my head to the side, isn't this just weird. Am" I dreaming or is this reality right now?

"Where..am I?" I questioned as I looked around confused.

"A dream" Someone whispered into my ear and I looked to my side to see no one there.

"Who are you?" Then a dark figure emitted from the shadows. I was on defensive now. This is a dream it's not real, it feels real though.

"Someone that's dangerous." I saw a sharp silver knife in his hand. I growled at him giving him a warning. The shadow figure attacked me and the silver knife cut into my upper arm. The pain is too real to be fake.

I need to wake up, I bit down into my hand and the taste of blood filled my mouth. I opened my eyes and sat up from my bed quickly. My hand was in mouth, a little trail of blood ran down my hand. I looked around my room and found no one. There was some pain in my arm and saw the cut. I felt the cold breeze in my room and notice it was open when it wasn't earlier.

I ran to my window and saw the shadow figure. I grabbed a knife and threw it at him. He dodged it easily and it just pissed me off even more. I jumped out of my window landing onto the ground. I grabbed the knife and started to run into the forest. He had a weird scent to him which made it easier for me to follow him. I kept running chasing after him and I was getting closer and closer towards him. I'm going to kill him for sure I do not care.

The man stopped abruptly making me slide to a stop. He turned around and had an evil smile. I saw the silver knife in his hands. Where could he have obtain it. Silver knives have many regulations for safety of our kind. I held the knife tightly ready to attack him.

The shadow came towards me, then it disappeared. I looked around for it, I heightened up my senses. One stab to the heart and I'm dead. It was quiet and all I could hear were the night bugs and some animals lurking around. There was a sudden rustling sound to my life. Something shiny caught the corner of my eyes and I jumped back in time to avoid my heart. The silver knife was lodge into my shoulder. Pain immediately erupted through my arm, I grabbed it and took it out of my shoulder.

"Ouch must of hurt."He said sarcastically.

"Silver knives really? That's just low, even if you were human." I snorted.

More knives were thrown at me, I dodge them easily. I can't use my right arm right now since it's completely numb. I have to hurry and get this over with. I sneaky threw one of my knives at him and it actually hit him. I saw black blood drip onto the floor. I kicked up a rock making sure to aim it towards him to distract him. I took out my claws ready to strike him down, however he suddenly disappeared into the ground.

I gritted my teeth in annoyance, piece fo shit. What a dirty move from him. There was a rustling sound and I put my guard went up immediately,I was ready to attack. That annoying scent filled my nose causing me to calm down. Stupid defense mechanism.

A pure black wolf came out from behind the tree. It's fur glistened from the moonlight almost give it a bluish color. Brown eyes were staring at me and I felt like I was in a trance just for a moment. A wave of energy hit me indicating this was indeed Elliot. Realization came to me, I ran into his territory on accident as I chased that stupid shadow figure.

"Wow look at his wolf." Addie whistled. Oh now she comes out, I see how it is. I rolled my eyes, she's ridiculous.

"Sorry I didn't mean to trespass, I was chasing something. No worries I'll leave now." I said calmly. When I was about to leave I heard a low growl. I furrowed my eyebrows, he growled at me. I was being civil here and he growled at me? I snapped my head around and noticed the brown eyes turned silver.

Oh I see his wolf took over, I walked over to his wolf cautiously. I reached my hand out towards him and rubbed it's head. A little whine came from his mouth and I laughed a bit. Elliot's wolf is way cooler than him. His mouth near my shoulder and licked my wound, cute but disgusting.

"Thanks." I smiled at him.

The silver eyes slowly turned back to brown and that was my cue to leave. I pulled back my hand and walked away from him. I need to go the pack doctor in secret. I don't need anyone to know about this yet until I get more clues.

I was at school right now and I was the laughing stock. What happened on that day became a bit stir here. I didn't care about whatehey think of me now, I had more important matters right now. That shadow thing from last night was a night crawler. According to my dad people hire them to kill people.

So who the hell is trying to kill me all of a sudden?

Who would be my enemy besides Elliot and Veronica. It wouldn't be those tow, I don't think they would stoop that low. If they do, then they have a lot pf psychological issues up there to do that.

An annoying clicking sound filled the hall and I rolled my eyes. The ruler of all evil was approaching me right now. Can't she just give me one moment of peace, she's like a thorn in my side.

"Why hello there weakling." Veronica greeted me.

"Weak? Me weak? I think you got it all wrong satan." I laughed out from her joke.

"Everyone knows you get weaker when you get rejected. Let's not play dumb now." She poked the side of my head mockingly and I closed my eyes for a moment.

"Sure in that moment I got weaker, but I'm back to full power." I said. Well it's a lie and truth, I'm still weak but I am definitely still stronger than this devil. Veronica laughed out and her hand landed one my shoulder. Who told her to get touchy with me?

"Ok let's test it out, let's have our rematch to see if you really didn't get weaker." Excitement filled me up. Finally I can slam my fist into something. God maybe you were giving me all these obstacles for this day specifically.

"Say less, I always wanted to humble a queen bee." I laughed out as I patted her back harshly on purpose.

"You really think you can take over my position?" To be fair I never tried going up in the ranks at this school. It was stupid and pointless, but I want to annoy someone. That someone is Elliot. I want everyone to speak about me every second of the school day. I want my name engraved in his little brain so he can be annoyed.

"We shall see right your majesty." I said and walked away from her confidently. Oh this is going to be so fun. I get to annoy two people at the price of one!

I happily walked to class and took my seat. Suddenly I can breathe better, my vision is clearer and I think I'm on the clear path to virtue. Someone was walking up to me, it was girl. I swear I've seen her from somewhere.

"Hey Cassie." She greeted happily. I picked up two scents from her and I squinted my eyes at her.

"Who are you again?" I asked her. She was taken back by my response.

"I'm Jenny, I helped you on that...day. And I was wondering if we can be friends?" Jenny said nervously. I feel like I'm getting set up, sure in that moment I thought she was an angel. This though is suspicious, she has Veronica's scent on her. Maybe I should just play along for the sake of it, yes Cassie let's play dumb.

"Sure but..." I rested my chin on the palms of my hand and stared at her with a serious look.

"But what?" I can hear her heartbeat racing and I laughed inside my head. She's so dumb.

"Oh nothing, I'm just fucking with you." I smiled at her and she had a relieved smile on her face.

I saw Veronica and Elliot walking in together, they look like they were talking about something. Good thing he hasn't done the devils tango with someone yet. I would get the short end of it, while he'll be in pleasure, I will be withering in pain. Elliot made his way towards me and sat down. God this is so awkward sitting next to him, it just hateful tension between us.

The teacher walked in soon after them. He took outa big pile of packets and started to hand them down the rows. I grabbed mines and gave one to Elliot. See look at me being civil cause I'm in a happy mood.

"Ok class today just work on the packet I gave you." Mr.Phillip said.

After he said that everyone immediately went to their friends. I somewhat peeped at what they were saying cause I was curious. The big topic if the rematch between Veronica and I. Some people were really looking down on me right now. Well that's for the better.

"Dude Cassie is so gonna lose."

"I know right Veronica is the queen for a reason."

"Who do you think is gonna win."

"Veronica.''

I've seen her fight plenty of times, sure she's good not the best. In all honestly all the people she fought were weaker than her. Not the same level as her, however that's not my place to say anything at all.

"You seem irritated." Jenny asked. I waved her off a bit.

"I'm not irritated it's just, I don't understand these people thought process." I tilted my head to the side. Me and her have different ranks, she's a beta and I'm an alpha. Even if I got weaker I would still beat her cause alpha's are still naturally stronger.

"I'll be cheering you on but I heard she's pretty strong. Are you sure you can beat her?"Jenny asked. My demeanor went dark and she sensed it.

"Watch how you speak about me now." I warned her. Then again I don't fight at school, the chances of you seeing me throwing my fist is zero. I'm a scholar now, fighting should take place on fighting grounds.

"You're going to fight Veronica?" Someone annoying said.

"Yes is there a problem with that your highness?" I faced Elliot with a blank face.

"I just don't think you should fight her in your condition." I snorted, is he giving sympathy? He's concerned for my well being now? Now he is? Bullshit.

"Why do you care? Weren't you the one who rejected me? I don't need your concerns." I laughed out.

Truly unbelievable.

I changed into some gym shorts and a random hoody I couldn't care about. I stretched out my tense muscles. Finally it's time to humble a rat. I can't wait to see her kneeling down in front of me. Oh my god maybe I am a sadist?! I like seeing people in pain.

After stretching I left locker room and wen to the fighting grounds on school. It's a place to spare during gym. There was already a crowd there, aren't they just very excited to see this. As I walked up they parted like the sea and there stood Veronica in her whole glory.

"I thought you weren't going to show up. " Veronica said while putting her hand's on her hips.

"Why wouldn't I? If it means I get to embarrass you, I will always show up." I winked at her.

Ok no more jokes Cassie let's get serious. Me and Veronica stood in front of each other, she was eyeing me as if I was her prey. My face remained blank, let's get this over with. I have to catch up on some shows.

"So this is how it's gonna work you can turn into your wolves. No gifted powers Cassie or weapons got it." Jay said. Using weapons would've been fun honestly, rules are rules I guess.

"Yes sir." I gave him a two finger salute. Jay went back to his position and nodded at me. Toby had a worried expression on his face. Funny earlier he was so happy I was finally going to fight. It's a bit too late to be a worry older brother.

"Ready...Fight!" Jay yelled. The cheering began. Now let's see how strong she really is.

Veronica started to attack me with her little manicured fist. I dodged them easily, we were practically dancing in a tango as she tried to punch me. She was creating a rather amateur opening for me. I swiftly punched her in the stomach harshly and she doubled over. I grabbed the back of her neck so she can face me and I punched her dead in the nose. There was a sound of a crack. The crowd was silent and she had a shocked face.

"You broke my nose!" She screeched.

"This is a fight, what else would you expect? " I questioned her as is she was stupid. Veronica was losing her cool and that's what I wanted to see. I wanted to see her go batshit crazy.

I ran towards her she had a confused face and I just smirked. When she wasn't focusing I grabbed her by the neck and slammed her down. She gasped for air and I gave her a mocking smile and stood up.

"Weak aren't we?" I mocked.

There it was that crazed look of hers. I heard her bones cracking as she shifted into her wolf. Her wolf was a plain brown one nothing special. It was just like 7 inches taller than me. I chuckled on how cute it look, I thought she would be a large wolf but she's not.

"Aren't you just cute." My voice was devoid of emotions and I stared right into her eyes. I tried patting her head, she tried to bite me. I quickly grabbed her snout with a smile.

"Shit Cassie's about to go crazy." Toby said.

"Crazy?" Jenny questioned confused.

"When Cassie fights, she...turns into a monster." Jay explained. facts, when I fight I'm not myself. I become a total devil. I'm so ruthless and I make sure my opponent double down in absolute pain.

Veronica was trying to remove my hand from her snout. I had other plans though.I clenched down on it and heard a crack. She whimpered in pain, she stumbled backwards. I let go of her snout and I walked towards her and kicked her hind legs. She fell down to the ground in pain and I looked down at her. I waited for her to get up, since I'm a righteous person it's only fair to fight them when they are standing.

She tried to pounce on me, I jumped back. When she was about to bite me again, I caught her mouth. Her teeth cut into my finger, I didn't care and held open her mouth. I even had the audacity to try to open in wider to try to dislocate her jaw. Her claws tried scratching me and decided to kick her in the stomach. Veronica flew back and she was trying to get up. I see she's not giving up.

"Still not giving up?" I said while walking towards her

She was moving backwards, I kept walking towards her. I quickened my pace catching up to her, I grabbed onto her tail and dragged her back to her place. I put my foot on her head and literally stomped on her only two times. I kept my foot on top of her face and put more of my strength into it.

"Shift back." I ordered. Addie came up to surface and her voice was combined with mines.

She turned back to her human form and I kneeled down in front of her. There was fear in her eyes, isn't it just weird how she was looking at me as if I was the prey earlier. Now look at her, she's my prey now.

"This isn't over, I will defeat you ." She growled at me. I laughed at her and grabbed her by the neck choking her.

"How can you defeat me when you're the one looking up at me on the ground?" I asked. As if realization hit her, she backed down. I let go of her neck and stood up. Everyone was silent, and I mean everyone was silent. Shock filled their faces and I laughed a bit.

"Now why don't y'all say hello to your new queen?" I laughed out.

Causing chaos is sure is fun, sometimes that is.
