《Harriet Potter and the avengers》Chapter 1

4 privet drive
one week before her 17th birthday
She woke up in her small bedroom, holding back a scream from her nightmare. The same nightmare she had been having since she watched Cedric's death. A few hours later instead of hearing her aunt yelling she hears a gentle tapping on the window. Looking over she sees an owl. She walks over and lets it in. offering it a treat as she takes the letter. Watching it fly off afterward.
She looks down at the letter recognizing the seal as a Gringotts seal, she looks at it confused before opening it. Catching the coin that falls out as she opens it. Putting it on her small dresser.
She looks at it confused and considers it being a ploy or a trap from Voldemort. Deciding to take her chances to get to the bottom of this or maybe just beyond done of just being used and tossed to the side she got up and packed all her stuff up and got dressed. Checking the time 6:21am she decided to risk it and snuck downstairs and grabbed her wizarding supplies. Putting everything into her extension charmed backpack, deciding that if nothing else she could stay at the leaky cauldron till she turned 17 and could probably stay with Sirius or get an apartment in the magical world.
She grabs the coin in her hand happily. "Money" she says feeling the familiar pull and squeeze of the magical transportation known as port keying and remembers why she hates it so much but it was convenient. She suddenly felt herself hit the floor, her eyes squeezed shut as she holds back a yelp from landing on her injured leg so abruptly. She curses at herself; she normally hides it so much better.
Opening her eyes as she looks around she realises she is in a very posh office. Hearing someone cough she looks up at a goblin, she assumes is Bronze guardian who sent her the letter. "Are you going to sit there and stare all day or are you ready to talk business?" He asks her, looking indifferent as she gets up, trying not to show struggle or pain as he watches her with critical judging eyes.

She moves to the chair but doesn't sit down, a little to nervous in this unknown situation to do so. "Well I'm here to ask what you mean about suspicious activities and heirships and ladyships." She says to him and if it was anyone else they would have heard confidence but Bronze heard her nervousness and saw her movements and was concerned.
He looked at her slightly confused, being able to tell she isn't lying but worried about what that could mean, how does she not know the basics about what is going on. She is an heir soon to be Lady after all. He sighs, this will be a long explanation. " Well we can get into heirships and ladyships better later, first we should get into that suspicious activity but obviously we must confirm your identity before doing that so..."
She nods her head slightly in agreement as she watches him getting out a bowl, knife, a potion and some parchment. She looks at him unsure as he nods at her as if to go ahead. "What exactly am I supposed to do?" she asks in confusion as he gets shocked. Even muggleborns her age should know this.
"Right, well first you should sit down, it will makes this process much easier." He says waiting for her to sit down which she does, a brief flash of relief going over her face. This confirms his suspicions that she is injured. "Good now first you pour the potion into the bowl, then you cut your hand and allow seven drops of blood to flow into the bowl then you pour it on the parchment and wait." He says to her, watching her follow his instructions.
She pours the potion into the bowl before cutting her hand, not even wincing as she allows the seven drops to fall in and the pulling her hand back as he heals it for her, leaving her shocked. She pours the potion onto the parchment, watching interested. Words start appearing across the parchment.
She reads it over confused, then sad and betrayed. As it leaves her shocked, she feels a few tears escape her eyes which she hadn't done since she had watched Cedric's death. She handed the sheet over to Bronze Guardian. She directed her eyes down to her lap in embarrassment now not sure if its to do with the potion or if its real.

She heard his shocked intake of breath before he seems to calm himself back down, she looks up slightly as she heard him put the paper down. "Alright, so you have a few choices here. I'm assuming you want the blocks and potions removed?" He said, looking at her for confirmation, seeing the slight nod he continues. "OK so we can do that for a slight fee from your vault, I believe its best to do that before going through your banks and transactions. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about the Horcrux right now. Would this be alright?" he asked, looking at her slightly concerned with how quiet she is.
She spoke quietly and obviously upset. " Y..yeah that sounds good, how much is it?" Surprisingly he smiled slightly at her. "Trust me you don't have to worry about the cost. You have several vaults and a lot of money. It will hurt a lot though and it's a long process, but we will help you through it all. I can hold onto your backpack during this process if you'd like?"
She looks at him embarrassed as she nods and gets up, giving him her backpack. "Ok I will take you there now." She nods and follows him out of the office and through the hallways. Getting lost in almost minutes as she struggles to keep up with him.
Seeing the large doors and the runic patterns she suddenly regrets not taking runes. As they reach the doors, he turns to her. "You have to be naked for this process I'm afraid, I promise you this isn't the first times they have seen someone naked. I'll be leaving you here, but I'll see you clothed in the recovery room some time later. I have to inform the team, but they will meet you inside soon." He said, sad she was going through this. Goblins are very protective of children.
She spoke almost whispering, "Thank you," she walked in and obediently stripped down, putting her clothes in the small box in the corner. She looked around the room, tracing the runes absently with her fingers as she approached the stone table in the middle of the room.
She looked around in amazement until she heard a door open. She suddenly felt embarrassment and sadness fill her as she realises that several people can see her scarred body. She feels tears fill her eyes at the sharp intake of breathe as she looks at the floor. A few minutes pass before the four goblins, 3 females and one male, come over to her and start explain the process before leading her to the table. She slowly sits down, nerves filling her as she lays down looking up at them. One of the goblins slightly shorter than the others smiles at her to reassure her.
"unfortunately because of the amount of blocks and potions it will hurt more and be on for longer, as such I'm allowed to offer you another solution. A knock out potion, you will be out for longer and it will still hurt when you wake up but you wont have to be awake during the process. It will be a 5 gallons, do you accept the additional cost?" she asks her as she nods happily, glad for the option.
"Yes please, thank you so much." She said, smiling at them. She was still nervous though. "You should have never experienced any of this. We will be in contact with the team helping your readjustment to ensure it all goes well." She sighs in slight relief to her as she is handed a bright blue potion. She quickly downs it, surprised at its nice taste. She lays back slightly as she hears them start chanting, just as she started aching her vision goes black.

Badass
At the end of everything, Taylor Hebert realized something. She didn't want to be a superhero. No, she wanted to be a badass. And then her prayers were answered. Imbued with the power of mimetic badassery and the ability to channel a different real-life badass every week, she set out in search for all the best things in life - well, according to Conan, at least. Modeling herself after Conan have been a mistake. Join her on her high-octane, pulp-fiction journey for vengeance, adventure, victory and mayhem. This isn't just uncensored. It's anti-censored! =========================== (Worm/Fate/Badass of the Week) Warning: crack-taken-seriously, over-the-top pulp-fiction style violence, overpowered protagonist, banned on two other sites. Hell, even the light-hearted omake jokes in this were considered too subversive to persist. ============================ AN: There’s this really, really excellent website called Badass of the Week. I’ve wasted many an hour browsing through, marveling at all the crazy shit some humans are capable of. Check it out, then come back and read this in a few days when the awesome starts to wear off. It’s worth it (all 576 entries). Back? Good! Anyways, I was looking through it recently while thinking about who I wanted to make expy’s of for my The Flying Dutchman quest ship captains (which now languishes in indefinite hiatus), and I had this idea. What if Taylor, wanting to be a badass, triggered with the power to be a different Badass every week? With a bit of Fate-style ability to draw on the tools associated with the legend (but to a just marginally less ridiculous degree), and a drive and aura to be and do badass? And thus, Badass was born in it’s somewhat cracky glory. Enjoy.
