"Feeling any better?" Y/N questioned, caring for her dear male friend as she silently entered the room. Wonshik's eyes snapped to the H/C haired female, meekly nodding, unable to speak. She miled softly in understanding, taking a seat near the bed, placing a warm cup of water on his bedside table. Her soft eyes shone on his with sympathy.
"I brought over some water...oh! And some medicine." Her soothing voice already calmed Wonshik's pain down.
Pulling out a pill, Y/N handed it to Wonshik, who weakly sat up, panting heavy breathes his aching head wobbling in pain; overheated. Handing him the cup of water, Y/N's lips curled up into a cheery smile, as she watched Wonshik swallow the pill. Taking the cup from him, Y/N placed it back down on the bedside table, careful not to make a noise.
"I hope you get better soon~" She chimed, trying to lift the dense spirits, swallowing the thick air around them.
"Do you need anything else?"
He shook his head, his head sinking further into the pillow.
"Okay, get well soon, okay?" She chirped, heading out the room, taking light footsteps; leaving her lover with an empty feeling, as he sighed shakily.
He could have stopped her, however, he didn't want to tarnish her with his sickness in anyway, he exhaled his thick breath once again. Perhaps, their distance was for the better.

"Still sick?" Y/N entered the room, this time the sun was setting, the sky morphing into all sorts of shaded of orange and yellow.
"Y-Yes..." He coughed with his rough, broken voice. At least he could somewhat speak.
"A-Ah! It's okay! You don't need to talk!" She assured, waving her hands in denial. "Well, in either way, I'm glad you're feeling better."
"The medicine works quite well~" Y/N cheered, her lips curling up adorably.
"Do you need anything else; water, food? Anything?"
He shook his head reluctantly, his hand creeping his way near Y/N's, yet he pulled back hastily, before Y/N could take note of it.
"I'll come in and check on you later, okay?" She beamed, before leaving; Wonshik growled inwardly at her absence.

Wonshik let out another sigh as he idled on his bed, laying there; only laying there. Nothing else. His mind remained blank, which, in his mind, was a good thing. His previous thoughts were fully on Y/N; only her. Now, that was a big problem. Only focusing on the H/C haired female would cause him to sulk further with his inability to confess. He aching to spill his feelings, however, in his current state, perhaps it wasn't the best time, or was it?

Even tough Y/N apartment was right next to him, he still inwardly grimaced at the thought of personally going up to her door and knocking, gaining her attention only to get invited inside, for him to confess and...what would happen if he was rejected? Would she kick him out? How would the tension be handled?
However, with Y/N's kind heart to daily check on Wonshik, she would be the one to visit him. But..."Argh!" He barked with his sick voice, his voice scraggly and coarse. He knew he couldn't NOT think about her, he could temporarily remover her from his thoughts but, it always returned to her; for the worst or the best.
Sure, the two of them were close, which hopefully would give him a bigger chance. It was one of the reasons Y/N was comfortable visiting him, just to take care of him in the first place. Clearly, she cared for him, or was she just being nice? Were the feelings mutual?
If she did like him and things did go in his favor...then...
A red hue plagued on his face, blushing intensely growing hotter by the minute, forgetting all of the effects of his fever. Imagining such vivid images in his head while he was sick was not exactly the healthiest thing to do. Wonshik shrugged it off, reluctantly. Perhaps, those thoughts would be for another time. His thoughts were just too messy at the moment; things were complicated.

"Wonshik?" Y/N called out quietly as she entered, nighttime bearing near.
Scanning the room, her eyes gazed Wonshik's sleeping stature, his head sunken back on the pillow, his lips parted to breath heavily, his chest heaving up and down lightly. Y/N smiled gently at him as she simply dropped off some extra medicine, leaving it by his bed, taking extra caution not to wake him as she swapped the dry and warm cooling pack for a new one.
"Thanks...Y/N..." He mumbled, still seemingly asleep.
Confused, Y/N decided to answer back quietly regardless.
"No problem, anything for a close friend..." Her voice was gentle, soothing like soft wind; barely above a whisper before leaving, closing the door without noise.
Wonshik's head echoed with the word 'friend'. He grimaced and cringed at the sound of her saying it, his eyebrow twitching in annoyance. He wanted to be more than friend, however, seeing her choice of words...well, it was only natural that he would sulk, sighing. A shaky exhale left his soft lips, fluttering his eyes open, staring at the ceiling; burning holes into it.

"This is too hard..." He grumbled, trying his best to shake off the words that clung to him, much to his annoyance, similar to barnacles on a ship. At least he physically felt better, in opposition to his mental feeling, his heart pounding, beating for H/C haired female.

"Wonshik? Are you feeling better today?" She chimed in, breaking into Wonshik's thoughts. He had been awaiting for the musical chime of her voice and since his fever had vanished, killed by the medicine, he honestly had no reason to wait for her; he could have called her and said his grateful thanks, instead he felt an urge to get an easy access to see her again. Guilt showered him, however, it was okay to at least be selfish for awhile...right?
"Yeah, I'm feeling better." The words nearly sliding off his tongue, his words begging to shake and fall; stuttering.
"That's good~" The curl of her lips assured him, shining happiness onto him; a tug pulling up at his lips.
"Do you still need anything?" Y/N offered, titling her head adorably, causing Wonshik's heart to shiver at such an simple, yet effective gesture.
"Well, not really...but..." He voice dimmed, gulping sharply; swallowing his fears and doubts, shivering under the covers despite it being overly warm underneath. His face bloomed with a red hue, only Y/N could cause effects, such as those, to him.
"Ah! Wonshik you're face is reddening! Are you sure you're not still sick?" She flushed with worry, hurrying by him, gently peeling the cooling pack of his forehead, placing her hand palm into position, checking his temperature.
He inwardly cursed at her close proximity to him. A few more seconds of her staying close to him and he was sure that he was going to kiss right there and then. She pulled back, much to his dismay, however, he was quite relieved about it. A slap to the face might have been the result if he were to just kiss her out of the blue. He broke out into cold sweat at the thought of their lips touching.
"Wonshik? Hello?" She tried her best to gain his attention, his eyes lost; ogling at her lips.
"Huh? Sorry, I was j-just..." He paused, unsure of what to say next, reluctant to speak.
"Hmm?" There is was again, the simple tilt of her head in curiosity; such a simple gesture yet it made such an impact.
"Uh..well, I was actually...never-nevermind..." He sighed. "I forgot..." He faked, avoiding eye contact.
"Oh, well, actually...I was just wondering if ---well, if you want to anyways, but I w-was---" Biting the bottom of her lips, fiddling her fingers.
'She's so cute...'
"Wondering if you wanted to got on a dat---and hang out...I mean...if you want to..." His eyes widened at her offer.
He kept his mouth shut, unable to register her previous words.
"Ah! Well, if you don't want to then..." She comforted, taking his silence as a denial.
"It's fine, we can hang out if you want to~" He swayed, smirking in confidence; hiding his embarrassment.
"R-really!?"
He nodded. "We can hang out today if you want to, I'm feeling a lot better. I'll meet you at your apartment in two hours so~"
"Of course! I'll see you soon!" She cheered, hastily leaving the scene to get ready.
As the door slammed shut, Wonshik shuddered at the scene that had just played out; still in disbelief. Did he just ace the situation when it came ramming at him? He breathed out in relief, his shivering breath releasing; proud of himself. He had never felt more accomplished in his life. Did he seriously just earn himself a date...with Y/N?
'I can't believe it...'
