5 years later...

Jungkook is in the middle of reading his book as he sits in his room. Glasses displaying upon his face as he was concentrating.

'Min Yunki?' Was the thought he had as he saw the name on a CD that was placed on his desk. He picks it up and inspects it. 'Who'd I get this from again? Ah...'

He puts the CD in the music player. As he listens to the sweet tunes of piano keys coming from his stereo, everything is seen to him from a different perspective.

'How are you doing? I'm...' Jeongguk takes a deep sigh as he thinking through some stuff. He opens his laptop and reads through an article.

He reads through it with an unreadable expression on his face. As the music is still playing, he takes off his reading glasses and gets up from his seat. He walks around the room looking through some of the gadgets and knick knacks he had that reminded him of working out.

'I wouldn't be Jeon Jeongguk if I gave up.'

Jeongguk then has flashbacks of a golden furred dog, who seemed to be his own, before he walks out of his room.

Jeongguk is then seen in his Taekwondo uniform, walking into a training room. He brings along his gym bag with spare clothes and other equipment. He takes a seat at a bench placed against the wall and slouches as he holds a tired look on his face as he grips onto some cloth bandages. He wraps them around his wrists as he is ready to begin his training.

As he is in the middle of getting ready, he spots a chair standing right in front of a mirror. He walks towards its way and takes a seat as he looks at himself deeply through the glass. It looked as if he was looking for a sort of answer, that was until he spots the punching bag a couple meters away from him.

He gets up from the chair and makes his way to the bag, tightening his belt and getting into his fighting stance.

He started it off with a single kick, before stopping to take a minute as he must have hit a nerve. He then continues his kicking moves until he throws in some punches and adds in his own combinations. He then stops the punching bag from moving so much before continuing. He finishes with a flying swing kick before falling on the ground, lying there with no motivation to get up.

After a few minutes of lying in self-shame, Jeongguk takes a moment to sit and rest as he was mentally exhausted. As he was resting in deep thought, the doors of the training room open and Jeongguk hears a happy, carefree voice through the whole room.

"Let's go! Here's your dad!" The heart-smiled veterinarian with a white coat, Hoseok, cheerfully says as he brings in the same golden dog that Jeongguk was thinking about before his training.

Jeongguk looks over to see his dog, Ddoong. His eyes lit up as he sees him running towards his way, "Ddoong!"

Ddoong looked just as excited as his owner to see him again and runs in his arms.

Jeongguk rubs around his ears and head as he wasn't so worried anymore, "Are you okay? Are you hurt? Phew..." Jeongguk looks up at Hoseok with a grin and nods at him, his smile full of gratitude.

Hoseok nods with a smile displaying his bread cheeks as he heads his way out, leaving the two alone with each other's presence after so long.

Jeongguk begins playing with Ddoong like shaking his hand or fluffing up his golden, thick fur. He feels even more happier now that his best friend is back, and Ddoong seemed to agree as well as he boops his nose against Jeongguk's.

*Timeskip*

Time passes before Jeongguk packs up his stuff after reuniting with Ddoong. He heads out of the practice room and already gets back to his home again.

Ddoong runs around the halls and rooms inside as he dearly misses being where he belongs.

Jeongguk looks at Ddoong's excitement and giggles cutely at how funny it looked. "You're excited to be back huh, Ddoong?"

Ddoong barks in response.

"Well, I'm excited as well that we're back home. But not as excited as the person who's coming to visit us is gonna be once she sees you're in good condition." Jeongguk coos as he ruffles his dog's soft coat of fur, all while Ddoong is licking his face.

A doorbell rings, alarming both Jeongguk and Ddoong. "Oh, that must be her right now."

Jeongguk heads to the door as Ddoong is following along, he opens the door to see a familiar face with the same kind smile and (H/L) (H/C) hair since the first day they met.

"(Y/N)!!" Jeongguk yells out as he sees his beloved at his door, Ddoong barking as a greeting while his tail wags.

(Y/N) opens her arms wide as she sees the two, "Jeongguk! Ddoong!" She comes towards the two's direction with her arms still open wide.

Jeongguk feels his cheeks heat up as he thinks she's going to him and spreads his arms with his eyes closed, waiting for her to hug him. But feels nothing but thin air so he opens his eyes to see (Y/N) kneeling down and hugging Ddoong.

"Ddoong! I missed you so much! How was my favorite doggie?! Are you feeling better? We really missed you! You're such a good boy!" (Y/N) giggles at Ddoong as she is petting him and kissing his soft fur while Ddoong licks her nose and cheeks.

Jeongguk's face turns to an expression of defeat, "But... Where's my hug, (Y/N)? Don't you love meeee?"

(Y/N) looks over at Jeongguk, "Oh, Kookie. I forgot you were there."

Jeongguk falls to the ground with more gloom face. "...(Y/N)... Whyyyyyy?"

(Y/N) lets go of Ddoong for a second and scoots over to Jeongguk, kissing his nose. "I'm just kidding, you know I love you alot."

Jeongguk feels like he's just been revived from death and pulls (Y/N) into a hug, dragging her down ontop of Jeongguk's firm but fit figure. "And you know well that I love you even more."

They laugh at each other's sappy moment and stare at each other's eyes for a moment. (Y/N) lowers her face down to Jeongguk's and softly locks her lips against his, slowly but tenderly moving them in sync. Jeongguk takes his hands and places them on the sides of her face to deepen the kiss.

They reluctantly halt their kissing and stare at each other with big smiles on their faces. Their love for each other never faded away. Before preparing for another lip-locking session, Ddoong interrupts the moments by jumping on the two.

"Ahh! Ddoong?!" Jeongguk yells out as he feels himself getting squashed by his own dog, and (Y/N) being on the middle of the sandwich didn't make it any better.

"Come on, Ddoong! Get off us or we'll die from getting squashed!" (Y/N) says as she is laughing through her words.

After a few moments of cooing and fooling around with each other, Jeongguk and (Y/N) are laying down on the couch as Ddoong is resting near their spot.

(Y/N) is resting her head on Jeongguk's shoulder as her arms are locked around his neck. Jeongguk's hand wrapped around her waist as their bodies are close together as they cuddle.

"I'm glad to see Ddoong is in good condition." (Y/N) says.

"Yeah, I was so happy when he was brought back home." Jeongguk answers.

"You seemed really upset and down when he was taken away for a bit, I got worried myself for you both."

"Why me?"

(Y/N) looks down for a second, "Well, you seemed really unmotivated to go out anywhere ever since he went to that veterinarian. And anytime I mentioned Ddoong, you would give me that upset face and it broke my heart to see you like that."

Jeongguk looks at (Y/N) with sincerity, "I'm really sorry I worried you. I just really missed Ddoong while he was away. But you know what? I'm happy that you were keeping me company while he wasn't here." He pecks her nose as he smiles.

(Y/N) giggles, "I swear, you're honestly so adorable!"

The two laugh at each other as they are comforted by each other's presence.

"Can you believe its been 5 years since I've confessed to you? And the fact that we're still together..." Jeongguk looks deep in thought as he says those words. "I honestly can't believe it."

"Yeah... Remember the times when the guys would keep teasing us and calling us future Mr. And Mrs. Jeon?" (Y/N) giggles as the memory.

Jeongguk's blushes a faint red as he face palms, "Ah... I remember all right."

*Flashback*

Jeongguk and (Y/N) are walking down the hallway of the high school as it was already after-school and today was practice. The two were holding hands as they felt bliss with a simple couple gesture like this.

"Aww, look. It's Mr. and Mrs. Jeon!" Seungmin yells teasingly as all the other members who were standing out the door were looking at the two.

"You both are looking well together." Junseon joins in.

(Y/N) laughs at their teasing, glad that something like this isn't making this weird.

Jeongguk's face flares up at the two's comment. "Come on, don't say stuff like that! We just started dating each other, that's all!"

Seungmin laughs at his reaction and waves his hand dismissively, "You know we're just teasing you! But you two do look really cute together and I'm not just saying that."

Junseon nods his head in agreement, "To be honest, I still can't believe that you two are actually together. Then again I'm not surprised."

Jeongguk's face is still flushed but looks over to (Y/N), who was smiling carelessly at him, signaling that everything was alright.

"Are you all gonna stand here or do we want to go ahead and practice?" A voice speaks from behind the two.

Seungmin and Junseon jump from being startled. "Ah! Chisoo?!"

Chisoo looks down at the two and at everyone else before speaking, "I know that lots of events have happened recently, but it's no excuse for us to slack off!"

Everyone keeps silent while Jeongguk looks at him very admiringly, loving how dedicated his sunbae is.

"We're still going to train hard and prove that this club is still going on strong. And that we will keep getting stronger! Do you understand?!"

"Yes, sir!" Everyone yells in sync.

All the members head in through the door to the practice room. (Y/N) takes a step to head in but is pulled back by Jeongguk.

"Ah! Jeongguk, wha-"

(Y/N) is interrupted as she feels a pair of strong, firm arms hold her tightly. She inhales the fresh scent of laundry from her boyfriend's school uniform. "Hey now, what's this?"

"Well, once we get in that room, I won't be able to show you affection until practice ends. So I wanna give you some before we go inside, my sweetheart." Jeongguk answers, his bunny smile warming her pure ARMY heart.

(Y/N) stands on her tiptoes and pecks his nose. "You're the best, Kookie-ah." The nickname flusters Jeongguk.

They both head in through the doors to practice.

*Flashback ends*

"Ah, I was so glad that our relationship didn't change anything about the club." (Y/N) sighs in relief.

"Yeah, I was really grateful that Chisoo was cool with it. Even if we were put under a 'No PDA' rule when we were in practice." Jeongguk comments. "He's honestly the best."

(Y/N) just remembered something. Her lips curve up to a sly grin, "You know, speaking of PDA..."

*Flashback*

It was the end of another day of practice and (Y/N) was cleaning the club's training mats with a rag to make sure they were cleaned well. Everyone else already went home until Chisoo and Jeongguk stayed behind to help clean other areas. (Y/N) was almost done with the last training mat, until she feels someone's face sneak at the crook of her neck.

"Hey, baby..." The voice whispers out. "Practice ended and I couldn't stop thinking about you... and what I wanna do to you."

(Y/N) turns to see the owner of the voice, "Jeongguk! What are you doing?"

Jeongguk slides his arms around her waist as his lips brushes against her neck all the way up to her cheek, softly. "I couldn't stop myself from thinking about you the whole practice. I really want you, baby." He takes her by the shoulders and turns her around where she is facing him.

"U-Uhm... Jeongguk...?"

(Y/N) leans back on the mat that she was cleaning while placing her hands behind her for balance, Jeongguk locks his arms on each side beside her waist. He leans in and hovers his lips over (Y/N)'s with a needy look in his eyes.

(Y/N) felt her whole body temperature rise at his actions, "J-Jeongguk, we can't be doing this here. We promised Chisoo we wouldn't. We need to respect that."

Jeongguk sighs in disappointment, "Yeah, I know." But then, he looks around the room with a sly look and turns back to her. "But he's not here, is he?"

(Y/N) chuckles to herself, "No, not really."

Jeongguk lays her down the mat, "Exactly, which means... I can do whatever I want with you." He amorously kisses her, bringing his dominant hand up to hers, slithering his fingers and wrapping around her own, while allowing his other hand to travel certain places on her body, making the kissing more passionate.

(Y/N)'s face felt like it was going to burst along with her heart by Jeongguk's bold actions, he's never shown this side of himself and being the first one to witness it really excited her.

The two kept onto their passionate kissing until...

HONK!!!!!

An air horn blasts through the room startling the two as they both screamed, causing them to jump away from each other. They look behind to see Chisoo with an air horn in his hand and a serious look on his face.

"Remember the rules!! *HONK* I better not catch you two getting all intimate behind my back again. Especially not on the mats!" He walks out the practice room with that warning.

Jeongguk and (Y/N) just sit there in silence looking at the door, and then at each other before giggling at their own embarrassment.

*Flashback ends*

"Ahhhh! Don't mention that day to me!" Jeongguk yells out, his ears on fire.

"Well, that time was embarrassing for both of us but we still laughed in the end." (Y/N) ruffles her boyfriend's hair. "I swear, Jeongguk. That was the first time you've ever shown how dominant you were!"

"Well, I did think about you alot that time. So I needed to relieve myself, and I wanted to surprise with my hidden side." He nuzzles her cheek.

"Hehe, yeah. Wow, it seems like there's been nothing but great memories for us, huh?"

"Yeah, and it's all because of you, (Y/N)" The maknae says all of a sudden.

"Huh? What are you talking about? You're just saying that." (Y/N) chuckles.

Jeongguk stares at the (E/C) eyed girl as he tucks his finger underneath her chin, facing her towards his way. "Believe me when I say this, I could never imagine myself living a happy life. If you weren't there for me at that time, I would've never come so far. You really have turned my life around for the better. And knowing that after 5 years of us being together and still going strong, I believe we were meant to cross paths and be with each other. You have absolutely no idea how you make me feel everyday..."

(Y/N) felt this sense of euphoric charge as she looks into her lover's eyes, feeling a bridge connect their souls together.

"...Everytime I see you, my heart races so quickly that I just feel adrenaline through my system. When I look at your smile, it really makes my day. When I hear you laugh, I'm high up on cloud-nine. As I feel your touch, I miss it so much when you leave that I crave for it even more. Your whole personality is what makes me feel like I could do anything. You've done so much for me back then and even now. I'm happy that you're in my life, you've made me love Taekwondo again, you've taught me to be more open, realize my answers to my own questions, and shown me how to love you. I want to give you the world, I want to be apart of every moment in your life as you are in mine."

Jungkook leans his forehead against (Y/N)'s as he breathes slowly, their love radiating through their cores. (Y/N) feels herself start to cry at the touching moment. He holds the sides of her face and eyes her lips with a hint of desire. They close the gap and their lips lock, motioning their heads as they move in sync. The kiss was passionate, slow, warm yet it was sweet and loving at the same time. He breaks away from the kiss and exchanges more words.

"I plan to be with you my entire life, (Y/N). Maybe even marry you and have a family with you in the near future. I may be looking too much into this and it might all be high hopes, but I know you are the one I want."

(Y/N)'s voice breaks as hot tears fall from her face. "Jeongguk... I-I want to be with you forever too. I want to marry you and live the rest of my life being yours and only yours."

A bunny teeth grin forms on Jeongguk's face. "I'm glad you said that. We're both still a little too young to marry, but if you're willing to wait with me. I'd appreciate that."

(Y/N) wipes her tears and nods her head. "Yeah, I'd really like that."

"Hehe, let's rest here a bit. We both need some shut eye." Jeongguk wraps his arms around her, pulling her in close with her head under his chin.

(Y/N) snoozes on her boyfriend's shoulder while he gazes at her sleeping figure. He lays his chin ontop of her head, inhaling her signature (Fav.Scent) perfume. Thoughts going through his mind.

'You are honestly the best thing that's ever happened to me. I can't wait for what the future has in store for you and me. No matter the challenges, I will fight through them for us.This reality of ours feels so amazing and dreamlike...
