"Jeongguk!" (Y/N) calls out.
Jeongguk turns to see (Y/N) coming his way. "Oh, you're here!"
(Y/N) has a bag in her hands full of goods, "I brought some snacks. Take a break!"
"Wow, thank you! I was just starting to get hungry, too." Jeongguk says feeling grateful. He's drenced in sweat but breaks out a big smile at the sight of the food.
"How is it? Did you choreograph some more taekwon-dance moves?" (Y/N) asks.
"Hm...I'm not sure..." Jeongguk places her forefinger on his lips. "Can I get your feedback?"
Jeongguk immediately shows her the two moves he's been practicing.
"Which one's better?" He asks the (H/C) haired female. "This is where I'm stuck..."
"Hmm...They're both a little weird." (Y/N) comments. "Ah! How about this?" 'I looked up a few more videos to get ideas!'
She gets up and shows him a few moves that she's spent some time working on. But what she got instead...
"Pfft-"
...Jeongguk laughing at her.
"Can you show me again? I want to record this." Jeongguk says, grinning so widely.
(Y/N)'s whole face turns red in embarrassment, "What the...You're making fun of me!"
"No, I really mean it. The move looks good."
"Really?"
The comment convinces her so she stands up again.
"Alright, here I go..." She positions herself, "Hiyaaa!"
"Pft... Pfft...Hahahahahaha!" Jeongguk bursts out laughing while his phone is out recording.
"Hey, what?!" (Y/N) turns around with utter confusion. "You said it looked good! You said it wasn't funny!"
Jeongguk keeps rewatching the video, "How is this not funny? Here, look."
(Y/N) feels so embarrassed, she can't even watch the video that Jeongguk's recorded of her.
She puffs her cheeks in frustration, "Hmph...Okay, yeah..." She turns away from him, her back shown in his eyesight. "I wanted to help any way I could, so I watched a lot of videos to learn that! And all you do is laugh at me..."
"Ah, I'm just teasing you! You were a huge help. Really." Jeongguk states, trying to cheer her up.
"I'm fine."
"Ah, Manager! I'm just kidding, don't be mad!" Jeongguk gets closer behind her and tugs on her hair.
(Y/N) smiles a bit from his playfulness, "...Forget it. I'm already upset." It's hard keep a straight face, even though she manages to sound serious.
"Hey, I'm sorry! Do you want to hit me?" Jeongguk looks down in guilt. "If that'll make you less angry..."

"You mean it?"
"Huh?"
"You're toast. Get over here!" (Y/N) courageously says as she gets herself ready.
Jeongguk bravely closes his eyes when he sees her roll up her sleeves. She pretends to hit him...but gently ruffles the top of his head instead.
Jeongguk looks perplexed at her actions.
"I can't hit you when you have to choreograph the rest of this. You're getting off easy...this time!" She points threateningly at him.
Jeongguk smiles. "That's your way of telling me to hurry up and nail down the rest of the routine, isn't it?"
(Y/N) nods her head, "You should get on it if you already know! You do know that it has to be done today, right?"
"Yep, I do! Shall we start again?" Jeongguk states very determined.
(Y/N) watches as Jeongguk tries to seamlessly connect Taekwondo and dance moves together.
*A few days later*
Jeongguk approaches the group with his completed Taekwon-dance routine.
"Phew...Okay, here we go." Jeongguk begins to move as soon as the music starts.
The movements are playful but charismatic. Everyone watching is soon absorbed by the story Jeongguk paints with his body.
"Hah...Ahh...How is it?" Jeongguk asks as the music comes to an end. He looks a little nervous. "I stayed up a couple nights working on it. Is it...bad?"
Everyone rushes towards him, all praising him at once.
"Wow, what a bundle of luck you are! Who are you, and where on earth did you come from?!" Seungmin praises very happily.
"There really is nothing in the world you can't do. Agreed? Yeah!" Junseon yells out in excitement.
Chisoo maintains his cool, calm manner, "Hm. Well, it's not bad."
"Will it be okay with just us? Choreography like this would look better with more people..." Seungmin asks.
"That's why I've already asked some of the dance club to join us!" Jeongguk announces.
Once again, the Taekwondo club members gather around Jeongguk, showering him in praise. Jeongguk peeks out from the mass of people surrounding him, looking at (Y/N) in anticipation.
She smiles brightly at him and gives him a thumbs up. 'It was so cool, Jeongguk!'
*Timeskip*
After showing the club members the dance routine they were going to do for their performance, Jeongguk brings the members around and begins to show them the moves.
Jeongguk, was practicing very smoothly and perfectly, his body moving in sync with the beat.
The rest of the members were not too shabby. They were trying to imitate Jeongguk's moves as slowly and carefully as they could to match with his pace. They were not as smooth as Jeongguk but they were getting there.

As for Chisoo, he was looking really stiff and out of sync with the beat and didn't look like he was catching up any time soon.
"Man, I tense up whenever the music starts." Chisoo looks nervous as he is trying hard to match Jeongguk's moves.
Jeongguk grins at Chisoo's stiffness, "Sunbae, are you doing aerobics or something? You can't do this?" He demonstrates it again.
Chisoo looks back at him in annoyance, "Enough messing around. Then why don't you show me some?"
"Here, watch." Jeongguk shows the move again. "Don't try to listen to the music. You've got to feel it with your body."
Chisoo nods him an 'okay' and tries to remember the advice, "With your body. With my body." He close his eyes and breathes in and dances the moves slowly. But as he tries, he begins to move more weirdly and foolish than the last time.
Chisoo yells out in frustration, causing Jeongguk and the other club members to jump in surprise. "Man! Hey. I'm not cut out for this. I give up on this Taekwon-dance collaboration. I'm not doing it!"
Jeongguk just chuckles, "Ugh, why is this so hard to get?" He goes through the same routine with the rest of the club and the members follow along with great sync.
*Timeskip*
Spartan-like training for the performance continues.
"Hey, snacks are here!" (Y/N) calls out as she carries a big bag of all sorts of snacks and brings a cooler alongside her. "I brought ice-cold drinks, too! Help yourselves!"
"Yes! Snacks! Snacks!" The members chant as they run over to the refreshments. While the rest of the group busies themselves raiding the snacks, (Y/N) spots Chisoo off to the side with a blank look on his face.
Jeongguk comes up behind the (E/C) eyed girl and taps her shoulder, "Manager, come eat with us."
"Okay...Hey, why does Chisoo look like that?" She asks, concerned for the club leader. "Is something wrong?"
"Yeah, something's wrong..." Jeongguk says with a glum look.
"Really? What is it? What's wrong?"
"He's a really bad dancer. Extremely. He's too stiff. I don't even know how he does Taekwondo." Jeongguk shakes his head in disapproval.
"Huh?!"
"Don't worry about him. Get over here!" Jeongguk's hand excitedly closes over (Y/N)'s and he pulls her over to the snacks.
She reins in her inner ARMY as hard as she could and try to control herself.
'I'm just a club manager helping Jeongguk...Nothing more, nothing less...' She thinks to herself as she is trying to calm her dear heart as it is rapidly beating.
Oh, how she will later on realize that's not the case.
"Pfft." Jeongguk stifles a laugh.
"What? What is it?" (Y/N) looks a him, puzzled.
"Your expression right now is pretty funny." Jeongguk grins his signature bunny smile.
"Ah, is it?"
"Everytime I see you, the first thing I do is laugh." His grin widens.
"That's a good thing, right?"
"Hmm, I don't know. It's a secret." Jeongguk smiles mischievously and scampers off to eat with the rest of the club.
"Augh, I'm so tired!" Seungmin whines as he is sitting comfortably on the floor munching on his snack.
"Wow...this taekwon-dance stuff is intense." Junseon comments wiping the sweat off his forehead.
Jeongguk's lips curl up into a satisfied smile, "Isn't it fun, though? I think it's really fun." His face glistens with traces of the sweat he's wiped away.
Seungmin grins along, "Well...it is fun, yeah. It's something new compared to all the hard training we've been doing."
"Ah- I hope we can keep doing this sometimes, even after we finish promoting the club." Junseon says.
"Shush! Chisoo might hear you!" Seungmin whispers.
"He's not even here, anyway." Junseon comments.
"Wait. Where did he go?" Jeongguk asks.
They spot Chisoo getting further and further from the rest of the group. He breaks into a run.
"Huh? Sunbae! Where are you going?!" Jeongguk yells out.
"What the- Is he running away?" Seungmin looks surprised.
Junseon gets up from him spot, "Hey, get him!"
The three take off together in a rare display of cooperation and grab Chisoo. Chisoo looks a little pitiful as he is escorted back by an envoy of Taekwondo club members.
Chisoo tries to shake out of their grip, "Let go! Let go of me! I can't do it. Dancing's just not-"
"Now, shall we jump back into practice now that we're rested?" Jeongguk says, pumped up to start the routine again.
"No...Save me!!!"
.
.
.
The members start to practice their dance again, despite Chisoo's cries for help.

The 8th Day
One day life is good. The next day it isn't! The boundaries between... well, whatever they're between.. have shattered! Monsters burst out from cracks in the universe, and reality suddenly begins to function similar to a game -- but not a game that anyone knows all the rules about! Magic is suddenly real, but so are monsters and death! Lots of death! And the worst part of it all? I think we did it to ourselves! We invented video games, and personally I think that great Finger-in-the-Sky picked up a console somewhere and started playing them. Since He liked what he saw, he must've declared, """"On the 8th Day, let there be Game!"But what do I know about it all, really. After all, I'm just """"The Witness"""" forced to observe it all.__________________________________________________________________________Author's Note: There's a lot of tales where characters get stuck in a Virtual Reality. """"Sword Art Online"""", """"Log Horizon"""", """"The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor"""". This is a story told with the premise inverted -- instead of a person from reality going into a virtual world, what would happen if the virtual world instead came to reality?I want this tale to speak about the aspects of the game, as it has affected the current reality, but the focus of the story should never be on the """"reality-turned-game"""" itself, but on the characters and their oh-so-human struggles, personalities, and attempt to adjust and live within the bounds of their new existence. Hopefully this won't just be a story of """"reality turned into a game"""", but instead will be something more meaningful such as a story of the strengths, perseverance, and humanity of man-kind as they try to adapt and face the unknown.*** And, most importantly, I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it. ***WARNING: RATED MATURE M[18+] FOR GORE, SEX, VIOLENCE. The apocalypse isn't a pretty place to try to survive in, and neither is every scene in a story trying to describe it.
