AGUST D. On the 15 August, BIGHIT quietly dropped two music videos and from Yoongi's mixtape on Youtube. Subsequently, another 8 songs were all released on SoundCloud. All the ARMYs were caught off guard by that silent release, and everyone started streaming it.

I'm on the train from Busan back to Seoul. I have been playing on loop of Yoongi's; no, AGUST D's mixtape. 3 songs, in particular, left the deepest impression on me. I remembered clearly, that the last song So Far Away 's backtrack is the one that Yoongi shared during the trip back from Kobe. Tears are flowing down my cheeks. Despite all the pain that depression brought him, he still believes that DREAM never betrays and never should one give up. Not him.

Despite only one word Dream in the entire song. But the music progression speaks a story.

The First Dream; is the small boy who lost his way

The Second Dream; is the youth who is searching his way

The Third Dream; is the countryside young man who tripping through the bumpy way

The Fourth Dream; is the Gloss who has comrades walking together on his way

The Fifth Dream; is the Min Yoongi who lost himself through the way

The Last Dream; is the Bulletproof Scout's SUGA who found his calling and his way

AGUST D narrates the darkest memories. The gradual progression of the song tells the listener that AGUST D is eroding Min Yoongi away. The last person standing ... is it still Yoongi?

After hours of streaming, my phone battery is finally dead. I still have another 45 minutes to reach Seoul station. I wonder what is Yoongi doing right now?

I'm finally reaching home soon. The trip was so exhausting, I need to have a good rest. I press the pin numbers of the apartment and step inside.

I let off a scream when I saw a man (I couldn't see the face though) scavaging my refrigerator.

The person stood up quickly after my scream.

🐱Yoongi: It's me. I'm just a little hungry after waiting.

I almost couldn't recognize it's Yoongi. He has dyed his hair to blonde again. Yet, unlike the past, the look he has now made me feel kinda distanced to him. He is AGUST D.

🦉Jihye: You gave me a shock! Why are you here?

🐱Yoongi: I've been here for 1 hour. I tried to call you but to no avail.

🦉Jihye: Oh, right. My phone died on the way back.

🐱Yoongi: I was waiting outside, but there were too many people walking around the corridor. So I decided to come in first, without your approval.

🦉Jihye: Oh... it's alright. But I was a little taken aback at first.

I look at him. He looks much paler than ever. I made us some tea, and we sat down at the couch. Yoongi looks like he has something to say, so I quietly wait for him to start the conversation.

🐱Yoongi: ... My mixtape. Finally, it is completed. But I don't know why I feel so empty all of a sudden. All these years of words that I'm holding back, I've finally said them all through the mixtape. It is supposed to be a sense of relief, but now I'm having this fear at the back of my mind. I keep telling myself that I don't care about how people will respond to my mixtape. In reality, it is exactly the opposite. I care, so much.

🐱Yoongi: My anxiety, my worries. Sometimes I hate myself. I miss the cheerful me. But Min Yoongi is dead.

Yoongi looking down on the floor. My eyes turn red hearing his words.

🦉Jihye: I was listening to your mixtape when I was on my way back. Min Yoongi is still alive. Otherwise, So far away wouldn't have existed. It's a cry for hope, Min Yoongi wants to survive. In the second verse of Tony Montana, Min Yoongi is the one who sang it, not AGUST D. Min Yoongi, the person who puts family, friends, and BTS in front of success.

By now, my tears are flowing down non-stop as I speak.

🦉Jihye: The Last...

I couldn't control my emotions anymore. I bury my face with my hands.

Looking at Jihye sobbing, it hurts Yoongi so much that he is the one that made Jihye cry. He got closer to her and gives her his shoulder to cry on.

I bring myself back and faces Yoongi and asks: "Min Yoongi is not dead right?"

Yoongi is quiet for a whole minute. I look at him desperately for an answer.

He looks at me in the eyes and said: "There can only be one person in this world to revive him. Are you willing to do it? Are you willing to revive Min Yoongi?"

"Yes," I answered without any hesitation.

Yoongi wraps his left hand around my head and right hand at my back. Both hands at the same time, he brings me towards him. Our lips meet each other, slow and reassuring. My rest my hands on his back. He gently bites my lips. I couldn't resist and reciprocate even more strongly. In return, he kisses me back, open-mouth, passionately, taking away my every breath. I felt like a vulnerable prey succumb to my fated predator. The electrifying sensation wired through my body, I wish that it could last for an eternity.

I have no idea how long we kissed. All I know is that my whole lips are burning. But it never felt so pleasant before.

Yoongi brought me back into his arms and hugs me tightly.

🐱 Yoongi: Thank you. For reviving Min Yoongi.

Yoongi looks at me seriously and said: "You're going to get into a dangerous situation if you don't stop me now".

I gave him a smile, and pull him forward for another kiss.

🐱Yoongi: Come to think of it. I have never heard of you calling me oppa before.

🦉Jihye: ahhh, why... We are same-aged friends. I'm not going to do it.

🐱Yoongi: I'm still older than you by 6 months. Oppa ( in an aegyo tone), try saying it.

🦉Jihye: nnooo~ it's so cringey...

🐱Yoongi: Comeon, otherwise I'll tickle you. Now I know where are the spots you are afraid of.

Yoongi starts tickling me and I couldn't stop laughing and tumbling on the bed.

🦉Jihye: Ok, ok. I'll say it.

🐱Yoongi: You can do a better job.

🦉Jihye: Oppa. Yoongi-oppa. Are you satisfied now?

🐱Yoongi: Sounds better. Never call another guy oppa when I'm around, I'm your only oppa. Understand?

🦉Jihye: How about Jin Oppa? The rest are all younger than you, so that is not a problem.

🐱Yoongi: Ahhhh... Are both of you even that close to call him oppa? Just call him by his name will do.

🦉Jihye: aigooo~ Min Yoongi also has his jealousy side of him. How cute!
