After hearing the news of Yoongi's panic attack, with the help of Yoongi's older brother. Yoongi's dad and mum flew down from Daegu to Seoul the next morning to attend the counseling session arranged by the company.

Yoongi is seated on the couch. His parents are seated adjacent to him and the psychologist is seated opposite Yoongi. Yoongi is looking down, avoiding gaze from his parents and the psychologist. His hand is clenching onto his phone (but the battery is dead).

Dr Kwon: Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Min for your speedy arrival for Min Yoongi's counseling session. I'm sure the agency has shared with you briefly what happened yesterday during the Kobe concert rehearsal. If you don't mind, I will address you as Yoongi's Dad and Yoongi's mum.

Dr Kwon: I have been working with the agency to provide regular mental health workshops for the trainees in BigHit. I have met Yoongi-ssi a few times with regards to work stress management. Yoongi's Dad and Mum, are you aware of Yoongi's mental health? Yoongi has been diagnosed with mild depression and social anxiety since he is 18 years old.

Yoongi's mum: To be honest, he left home three years ago for Seoul for his music dream. It is usually the older brother to share his news with us. Although he did come back to visit a few times after he debut, we never spend time talking to each other. He has always been a quiet boy and prefers to keep his thoughts to himself.

Yoongi's dad: I know that he is a person who takes it hard on himself, just like me. That's our family culture. We were very against his music dream. We wanted him to be a civil servant, to live a stable life, not to be like us. Now, he has debuted and is doing well as an idol. So I am surprised to see why is he depressed. Sorry, may I know what is social anxiety? Does it mean fearful of people? But he's doing fine with his fans and people around work?

Yoongi's mum: *sigh* It is the generational gap. Sometimes, we feel like we hardly know our son.

Dr Kwon: Yoongi-ssi. What do you think? Would you like to say something?

Yoongi gives a cold smirk and said "I don't even know myself. How does anyone know me?"

The counseling session did not go as well as expected. Yoongi's parents decided to leave first and come back again another day. Despite the love for each other, both Yoongi and his parents are not ready for a heart-to-heart talk.

Dr Kwon: Yoongi-ssi. I noticed you were looking at your phone the entire time during the counseling session. Is there someone that you would like to see and talk to?

Despite Yoongi did not answer the question. But the psychologist notices the change of his microexpression on the face.

Psychologist: Give the person a call. What you need the most now is your emotional support. We can postpone the counseling session for today. We can help you to make the call since your phone's battery is dead.

After some thoughts, Yoongi finally decided to make the call.

I follow Hobeom manager-nim and arrived at the 7th storey of the building; KW Psychiatry Service. We were brought to one of the meeting rooms by the staff. Yoongi and the psychologist are inside. Yoongi saw me and he stood up.

Hobeom: She's here.

I go to him and stand beside him, and greet "Annyeonghaseyo (Hello). My name is Kim Jihye. I'm Yoongi's friend. I reach out to Yoongi's hand and interlock his fingers with mine. Everyone was caught off guard by my move, including Yoongi.

Dr Kwon: Uhhh... thank you Jihye-ssi for coming in such short notice. I will give you both some time to talk. I will come back in half-hour time for a discussion.

🦉Jihye: Ne~. Thank you.

Hobeom and the psychologist left the room. Leaving just me and Yoongi.

Both of us are just standing facing each other, fingers still interlocked. Yoongi's gaze flicks, looking at the floor and me occasionally. No word is spoken, but I can feel his need for comfort. I take a step forward and wrap my other hand over his back and give him the tightest hug I can give. That hug finally loosens his tension, and he reciprocates with his head lying on my shoulder for comfort. I can feel his breathing gradually becomes slower and deeper.

Finally, when he brings his head up from my shoulder, I release him from the hug. I was about to let go of holding his hands, but he stops me by firming his grip, not letting go.

I look at him and said, "Arasseo (I got it)".

We sat down, side by side.

🐱Yoongi: Sorry. I made you and everyone worry.

🦉Jihye: Thank you. For making that phone call. I would have been more worried if I let you face this all by yourself.

🐱Yoongi: It's all my fault that the concert is canceled. I should have pushed through.

The psychologist entered the room again.

Yoongi has calmed down and is able to bring his gaze back up to everyone's eye level.

Dr Kwon: Min Yoongi-ssi. After with the psychological assessment of all the seven members, including you. We conclude that all of you suffers from different degree of work burnout. As you have a history of depression and social anxiety, burnout affects your condition much more significantly. I will send a report to your agency with suggestions and precautionary measures to reduce the work burnout.

Dr Kwon: For the treatment of your depression, I would still require you to come down for regular sessions. I will arrange the schedule with your agency as well. If needed, I will prepare some drug prescriptions for you.

🐱Yoongi: Ne~ Thank you, doctor.

Dr Kwon: You are really lucky to have a friend who you can trust. Try to express out more of your feeling with people you trust. It makes you feel better. Also, find time for hobbies to divert yourself out from work.

Dr Kwon: Jihye-ssi. I'm really glad that Yoongi-ssi has you as his best support. Although he shares occasionally during the session, the progress is limited as the sessions are not regular. Your presence helps.

After the counseling session is over, Hobeom manager-nim drove us to the nearby soup restaurant to have some hangover soup together. It was really awkward. None of us are talking during dinner. I thought of making my departure after the dinner, but manager-nim insist on sending me home after we return to Bighit building first.

We arrived at the Bighit building. Hobeom Manager-nim left us and went straight into the office. Sejin Manager-nim saw Yoongi and I and asked us to join the rest of the members in the meeting room.

This is the first time I meet all the members of BTS in an informal occasion. The members are in their sweatshirts with no makeup. The members saw Yoongi and went up to him and show their concerns. Jimin gave him a hug, and the rest just crowd around him. It is obvious that Yoongi feels happy to see his teammates again, but he just keeps his poker face.

I return with an awkward smile.

All the other members heard Seokjin's comment and turn to see me.

I immediately feel really nervous and straighten my back.

I was so worried inside about Yoongi. Yet I am constantly distracted by the questions by the maknae line. They are really sweet, entertaining me with jokes and offering me snacks just to make me feel comfortable and welcomed.

After a while, Yoongi returns, still with an intense facial expression. But this time, Hobeom manager asked for me. My instant reflex is to swallow my saliva after hearing that.

I force a smile on my face and said "Don't worry. I'll be back soon".

I entered into Bang PD-nim's office. The desk is stacked with folders, books, and vinyl records. Bang Shi Hyuk is already sitting on his chair.

Bang PD: Have a seat.

I can feel the intense presence of Bang PD-nim. I calmly take a deep breath a sit down.

Bang PD: We understand from the psychologist, Dr. Kwon that the recent schedule contributes greatly to their stress. So we have made adjustments for next year's schedule. But as for schedules that have been confirmed until the end of this year, it will still proceed as per normal. Thereafter will be a short break in January for all the members. Dr. Kwon has arranged a few upcoming counseling sessions for Yoongi and his parents. Since you are a trustworthy partner to Yoongi, Dr. Kwon would like you to be the catalyst in helping to rebuild Yoongi's mental health and the relationship with his parents.

It was such a nerve-wracking experience with Bang PD-nim. I'm glad that there was a table between us. My hands were shaking so much when I was talking. But it seems like I have received the acknowledgment from Bang PD-nim.

I return to where the boys are at. Yoongi stood up and came to me.

Hobeom manager-nim has called a taxi to send me home. Yoongi and I were standing at the emergency exit staircase corridor.

Yoongi: Thank you for coming today.

Out of my expectation, Yoongi hugs me really tightly. Both of my arms are at the side of my body, wrapped by his arms. I got to slightly tip my toes to keep to his height.

He finally released me.

🦉 Jihye: Bang PD said that there will be a short break in January. You will get to have some good rest! You can spend some good time on your mixtape too.

🐱Yoongi: Hobeom hyung said that you are coming for tomorrow's counseling session too.

🦉 Jihye: Eung. I thought you might have a little more comfortable. If you don't want me to go, I can...

🦉 Jihye: Arasseo (got it). Oh! The phone call from the taxi is here. I gotta go. See you tomorrow.
