Beam is drifting away again and Forth noticed it. The way he forced a smile everytime he caught Forth staring at him. The way his body shake at night to control his sob not to wake Forth up and Forth exactly knew why. It was because of Dream's words.

Forth caress the body beside him again. Yo pick up the kids that morning, a day after Dream showed up on Forth's door. The day that Beam's nightmare starts again. Forth sighed as he check the time. It's almost morning and Beam just fall asleep with his low whimpers.

He wraped his arms around Beam's body and kiss his temple. Beam stirred but did not wake up. He snuggled closer to Forth's body, seeking warmth from it. Forth tightened his hug, giving his all to the person he's holding.

He listened to Beam's even breathing. A low whimper came from time to time and Forth caress him gently. Whispering loving words to Beam's ear until the whimpering stop and Beam sleep again in peace and he follows.

Morning come and Forth slowly open his eyes, adjusting his vision to the lights peeking through his room curtain. Beam is still sleeping and hugging him still while soft snores coming from his mouth. Forth smiled. Staring at the pale face that is planted on his chest. He ruffles Beam's hair gently and give him a peck on his forehead. He did not move, afraid to wake Beam up. So he stayed still, and trace his fingers lightly on Beam's face.

Beam called out sleepily and Forth stop.

Forth said and loosening his grip to Beam but the latter just grip him tight. Forth stilled. Beam opened his eyes slowly and peek at him and frown.

he asked Forth in a muffled voice while hiding his face on Forth's chest and let out a small yawn. Forth chuckled at the sight and glance at the clock beside his bed.

Forth replied and kiss Beam's nose and the latter face scrunch up to him. He wiggle his body out Forth's embrace and Forth let him. Beam curse under his breath while glaring at Forth. Forth look at him in confusion.

Beam hissed in frantic and Forth look at him in amusement.

Forth say softly with a tender smile to Beam and the latter stilled. He squint his eyes to Forth who is pouting at him like a lost puppy. Beam roll his eyes.

Forth hopefully and Beam bit his lips while staring at Forth.

Forth cut Beam's words again. Beam's gaped at him and start to giggle after. Forth heart's beats faster with joy. Beam's giggle is so pure, so happy.

Beam said in amusement and Forth blush. It's true though.

It's Beam turn to blush this time. He shake his head at their funny situation. He peek at Forth who is still staring at him with pleading eyes. Beam smirk and Forth gulp. Then his smirk turn into a wide smile and Forth's breathing stop.

Beam yelled and run to the bathroom and close it to wash his face and everything. Forth smiled at the adorable guy as he move out from his bed and followed Beam to the bathroom. Before he can open the door Beam's head pop out and he's grinning. Forth can see light in his eyes. The pure happiness in Beam's smile and he mentally thanks heaven for doing the right thing. Beam is getting himself back again.

Beam asked as he open the door widely to let Forth in and the toothbrush is hanging on his mouth. Forth blinks. Beam looked so adorably cute.

Forth answered while brushing his own teeth. Beam eyes lit up as he spit and rinse his mouth in the sink beside Forth and Forth did the same after. He smiled to Forth on the mirror and Forth froze as he did not expect Beam to hug him at the back and nuzzle his face on the back of his neck. This is the second time that Beam initiate contact on him after Dream's appearance . First was when he kissed him when he's worried after what Dream said and did.

He stilled as he feel Beam's lips against his skin and their eyes locked on the mirror.

Beam whispered with a tear in his eyes. Forth turned around and face Beam, cupping his face and wipe the tears on his cheek gently.

He said while looking deep into Beam's eyes and Beam nod. Humming his answer as he pulled Forth towards him and hug him tight. Forth hold his sighed and hug Beam back and run his hand on Beam back up and down.

Beam smiled. In time, he can say those words back to Forth. But not now, not yet..
