Arnav dragged a numb Khushi towards their car.

"Arnavji... Let me drive, You sit with Khushi. I don't think she's okay, You'll not be able to concentrate" Payal said

Arnav nodded and tossed the car keys towards her. Arnav made Khushi sit inside the car and soon slipped beside her.

The minute Khushi felt Arnav sitting beside her, She threw herself onto him, Crying hysterically. Arnav held her close to himself and let her cry in his embrace. Arnav felt miserable,seeing his love his life collapsing into his arms. He could blame the whole thing on Guptas, But somewhere, He was responsible too wasn't he?

He whispered sweet nothings to her while she cried uncontrollably

"I never... I never wanted to be a burden to them Arnav... I never... Meant to, I am a very bad girl... The worst daughter" She told Arnav

"No Khushi... Aisa nahi hai shona Aap jaante ho, (Its nothing like that Khushi... You know that) You are a very good human being jaan. Calm down" Arnav said consoling her

"They hate me Arnav... I considered them my... Family Arnav. All this while, I tried to be a good daughter to them... I really tried. But they don't... They don't love me Arnav. I am a bad daughter Arnav" Khushi said crying

"No you're not. You're not a bad daughter baby... Please Calm down" Arnav said urgently.

"I am Arnav... Thats... That's why they hate me so much. That's why everyone hates me. Arnav... Khushi is a bad girl. A bad daughter. She doesn't deserve to be loved... That's why even your family... Your Di doesn't... Every one hates me" Khushi repeated. Arnav felt helpless. Tears formed in his eyes seeing Khushi in such a desperate condition

"No one hates you shona... And as far as Di is concerned, She really needs to see the truth... ("if she doesn't, Well then... You've had enough... She'll have to go... It's purely her choice now, Either her stubbornness, Or me" Arnav thought)

He hugged her tightly saying soothing words to her. She kept blabbering but soon lost consciousness. Arnav leaned on the back of the seat as tears flowed down his cheeks. "Why DM, Why does she have to suffer... Even if... Even if its not her fault. Why doesn't she deserve happiness. She is your "Best daughter" isn't she? Then why is her patience getting tested" Arnav thought aloud. He messaged Ashima to come to RM as Khushi had had a panic attack

"What was that?? What happened to Khushi" Payal asked

"Panic attack. Di warned me I shouldn't let her stress herself. But I was a fool" Arnav said

"Its okay Arnav... It had to happen this way" Payal said and restarted the car and they drove off to the RM

Arnav picked Khushi in his arms and went inside. The whole clan gathered around Arnav but he hurried on to his room.

Akash and Nk followed Arnav to his room frantically searching his face for any hints of what has happened. All they could find... Was terror! Pure terror

"What has happened Arnav? Why is Khushi ji unconscious?? She was looking perfectly fine when you guys left" Nk asked

"Nk... She had a panic attack again, God! Why did I have to take her to the GH. Ashu Di had warned me... How could I be so careless??" He cursed himself

"Its okay Bhai... Don't worry, Khushi ji will be fine. But what happened that she ended up like this?" Akash asked

"From the past few days... Khushi was being stalked endlessly by an obsessive brat. Khushi was really upset.-" Arnav stated

"But the whole world knows she's married to you... Aapki life toh media ki favorite news item hai (Your life is the media's favorite news item)"

"Kuch logon ko farq nahi padta Akash (Some people don't care) And I suppose he was one of them. He's married too... Has a wife, Maybe children too." Arnav told him

"He's married... And still he's stalking Khushi ji? Woah... " Akash exclaimed

"So she was really upset, At first she didn't think of telling anyone... And I wasn't being a good confider. She didn't know if she could tell me or not.... And I'm really ashamed of that. Yesterday... She told me.. That while she was in London, Her buaji had fixed her engagement with him. She didn't want to marry him... But he was stubborn. When Khushi reached there she straightway refused... Maybe that irked him... He's stalking her... Making her life hell... We went to GH to collect evidence, But... (Then he told them what happened in GH clearly avoiding taking any names). I thought they'd help, But... I was proven wrong. I suppose" Arnav said sadly

"Garima aunty? Buaji? How could they be so rude to Khushi ji... What's her fault??" NK asked

"They think... That she trapped me into the marriage. Its not the truth... though... But I couldn't convince them otherwise. Actually I didn't because... I didn't want to waste an effort. I really didn't think this was going to happen... Or I wouldn't have gone" Arnav said

"Bhai... She has fever, I think we should Call the doctor" Akash said examining her

"I have... Ashima Di is on her way. She'll be here any minute now." Arnav said

(After some time)

PS: By that time, Khushi is awake

"I can't believe Garima masi... I can't believe she did that!!" Arjun said. Ashima and Arjun had come to the RM after Arnav had told them about Khushi. Arjun had not seen her for weeks... So he insisted on joining Ashima too

"She knows... Khushi jaldi panic karti hai... Woh jaanti hain.... Jaanti hain... Ki Khushi sensitive hai... Jaanti hain ki uske liye... Mumma aur woh equally important hain.... Fir bhi?? (She knows that Khushi panick easily... She knows she is sensitive! She knows Both she and Mumma are equally important in her life... Still?" Arjun exclaimed

"I never expected this Bhai... I thought they'd be of help." Payal said guiltily

"I have no grudges on you Darling... You are as much my sister as Khushi... I was just caught by surprise! I didn't expect Garima Masi to be so rude to Khushi" Arjun said

"Rudeness... Wasn't the problem actually... I've been used to that for years... You shouldn't be surprised at all Bhai" Khushi said

"No I should be... It's not your fault is it that Shyam's lusting on you is it?" Arjun asked

"The thing that caught me by surprise was that they'd at least been civil before this... I don't know what got into them just today!!" Khushi said sadly

"I don't know... But I'm honestly ashamed of their behavior, I suggested meeting them in the first place, It's all my fault" Payal said ashamed

"It's not... Actually you defended me today!! I can't be all forgiving, I can't forget and forgive them... No, But Payal jiji... You aren't the one at fault are you, You know to be really honest, I didn't get what I expected from any of you initially, But jiji, That changed as we grew up... At least you loved me! I don't think you should feel guilty for something that's not your fault at all

"So... What next? Shyam ke khilaf aur kuch mila? (Did you find anything else against Shyam)" Ashima asked

"Di... Ek background check karwaya hai... I hope we find something soon (I've asked for a background check... I hope we find something soon)" Khushi said

"Aman is working on that... We'll be good in a few days" Arnav said

"Amen to that... Arnav, Can I join you in office tomorrow?" Khushi asked

"ARD?" Arnav asked

Khushi nodded

"Why are you asking? You can join me anytime?" Arnav said

"You'll be going with him?" Arjun asked

"Yeah... She entered a tie up with ARD" Arnav said looking at Khushi

Khushi bit her lip, "I didn't tell you?!?" She asked her husband

"Nope" Arnav said

"But it was profitable" Khushi defended weakly

"Yeah, AR profited... But you?" Arnav asked

"I'm fine where I am Arnav... It doesn't matter, I'm profiting too" Khushi said

"Hmm... I can see that" Arnav said sarcastically

"Arrey! AR is your dream Arnav! I couldn't see it in any danger" Khushi said

"Shona... When are you going to give up?" Arnav asked

"Never! Or may I remind you... That I have worked equally hard to establish AR? Though from behind the spotlight, But still? AR is like a child to me... How could I possibly let it endanger if I could help it?" Khushi asked

"I can't argue with that! Can I?" Arnav asked with a smile

"Nope... So you will take me to AR tomorrow?" Khushi asked hopefully

"Yes... Of course I will"

"I love you!" Khushi said

"You love me... Because I am taking you to AR where you're supposed to be with full authority? Wow baby" Arnav exclaimed
