I take the piece of paper and unfold it.
I smiled. I owe her one. As I place the note back on my nightstand, I hear a knock on my wooden door.
"Come in!". I see Midas peek his head in. It was so unecpected that I giggled a bit.
"Supper is ready" Midas replies. He had a soft smile planted on his face.
"Be down in a moment" I nod. Midas gently closes the door. I dance around happily before I leave my room.
Dinner was a nice fancy dish I didn't know the name of but it looked- rather tasty! I sat down across.....a banana? I rubbed my eyes, was I daydreaming? I look again, nope a banana in a tux. It's okay Y/N it's normal. I look around to find Midas, no sign of him. Skye sat on one side of me and an empty seat on my other. Maya and TnTina sat on the opposite side.
"Looking for someone?" Skye teased.
"Nope"I reply fast. I turn around towards the footsteps behind me. Midas was walking to his seat and behind him was a.... The hell... A muscular....cat? I noticed some other unfamiliar faces follow.
"Everyone this is Y/N, she will be staying with us for the time being". Midas announced.
It felt weird being the center of attention. As we ate we spoke and laughed with each other, I made friends with some other agents too! I met Journey and she told me some intense stories about her rock climbing career. There was Tek, who talked about how a robotic arm works and I learned the name of the muscular cat was Meowscles. Ha, Meowscles.
I also thanked Maya for the awesome clothing. After supper I headed to a little balcony to admire the sunset. I rummaged through the memories of the past few weeks and thought about them, yet here I am now. It was undescribable how optimistic I am now.

"Good evening" Midas startled me.
"Good evening sir" I welcome him. We stand in silence for a moment.
"Did you enjoy the meal?" Midas asked.
"Uh huh" I turn to him and smile. "It was great thank you, thank you for all of this! I-I really appreciate it"
"You are welcome" Midas turns to me. I look into his eyes, his golden eye and glazed eye. I wonder why he has this golden curse...I wonder if he's a lot more different then he lets on...
(OooOoo should it get "serious" or will that be too fast?
Edit: Loool why'd I even ask that)

Chasing The Master
Zhang Cai, named Zhang by the streets and Cai by his master, embarks on a long and meaningful quest after his master's shadow to learn more about the world and himself, both as a human and as a cultivator. Another story I had in mind for sometime. I've been trying my hands at many different genres and art mediums, so this is my serious attempt to culminate the wisdom of them all into something that I can say I need to do. Please do enjoy. The Rowan Fox, Tail 1: The Missing Children
Deep in the Maple Woods sits a mountain of old. Humans have claimed it and today a city called Redlog covers it from peak to foot. Meet Josei, one of many medicine makers living in the city of red roofs. Hers is the start of many tales, home to a very special fox. Like foxes often do, this one finds himself plenty of trouble. (Thought I would be gone forever did you? I'm back again! This time with a book that actually has an ending. I know because I've written it. I will be editing each chapter then releasing it here as they're done, probably once or twice a week. It's a shorter tale than what I've written before but that was the goal from the start. I really need to learn how to finish a story so this was a big accomplishment for me. I'll be writing The Rowan Fox in several parts instead, short but hopefully sweet.) (This story is a combination of some of my favorite things: folktales, foxes, ancient forests, and feel good slice of life. I hope you like it!)

The Rising Fist Saga (Progression Fantasy)
There is one rule in the countless worlds of cultivation, no matter the gods, monsters, or people. Death is power. The name is Bones. That's it. Just Bones. It's not great, but I give my summoner some slack. He is missing some memories. It's a long story. Vampires, betrayal, forbidden love, dragons, swords, magic, monsters, witches, probably some death, and all the other good stuff. Or at least we think so. As I said, he has no memory. His backstory could be anything. Anyway, my nameless summoner struggles to survive in the wild—until I come along. I am the new boss now. With me in charge, we have a fighting chance at this thing called life.

Cinder Roots (Undergoing a Rewrite)
This novel is currently undergoing a major rewrite, as I noticed several plot points that needed to be revamped. I'll leave the chapters I've posted here to anyone curious to see how everything started, but I'll be posting the rewritten story as a new novel in the future. The characters will be the same, but the journey will be more understandable and hopefully, a lot more fun to read. -------- First, everything was fire, it killed, it consumed, and it gave him life. He was just a tree, born in the biggest forest that remained in the world, full of dryads, naiads, elves and treants, but he was alone. He couldn’t see. He couldn’t talk. Curiosity plagued him. He dreamed of wandering the land, but could only wonder what stood outside the reach of his roots. The tree was tired of waiting. He decided to not just dream, but to act. How could he survive against a invading empire, a grand conspiracy that threatened to shake the foundations of the world, and the raw danger that lies within these woods? With pure determination. Warning - There are quite a few POV changes in the first chapters, but that'll change after the introduction is done, as I'll be focusing on the MC perspective only.
