Midas and I sprinted down to the foyer of the Agency.

"While my Agents clean up this bloody hell of a mess I would like to speak with you". Midas seemed like a very serious man, he was interesting. Midas buzzed on and off every now and then through his ear piece.

"Wait- you haven't seen any Shadow members?" I ask confused. My hands were shaking as I spoke.

"Not that I have heard of" Midas responded. I nod. We began to walk beside each other, his hands rested behind his back as we spoke.

"My friend Whiplash probably blew up the engine" I explain. "I apologize for the mess and...for all of this".

"No need to apologize, we will resolve this in time" Midas kept his gaze forward. We had left the building and walked outside to investigate, as we did, we spoke. For a long time. Eventually I had jabbered about myself and I think I was being annoying to him.

I told him everything I could. As much as I knew about Shadow. It was weird to be speaking with man I was supposed to kill.

"My Agents have finished, I will send you in and they will give you a meal and a place to sleep. We need you to stay here for a while, you have plenty of important information on Shadow" Midas informed me.

"I don't want to get in your hair, but that would mean I'm helpful...but um..thank you very much...for trusting me"

"My pleasure, and no need to worry my receptionist will take care of your home searching until then" Midas said. For the handsome man he his, it didn't seem to be much of a smiler.

I was escorted to the kitchen, Midas had wished me good luck and then left. I was greeted by three girls.

The older appearing one had dark brown hair, an angled face and lean body. The other two looked like they were in their late teenage years, one wearing a bright red comic shirt with messy brown hair while the other had a round face a cute hat and denim jacket.

"H-hi I am Y/N.." I smile.

"The names Maya, that's Tntina an-"

"Just call me Tina" TnTina added.

"Annnnd I'm Skye!". I giggle at her exaggerated wave hello.

We headed to the kitchen and Skye whipped up some chocolate pancakes with sprinkles, and let me tell you they were great!

"So if it's not classified, why are you staying here?" Tina asked.

"Oh- well" I was cutoff by Maya.

"Sorry Y/N- Well that's kinda personal to ask isn't it Tina?"

"I...guess, sorry" Tina looked down at her plate.

"Oh don't worry I don't mind actually" I smile weakly. Tina nods and looks at me inquisitively.

I told them some lighthearted stories of my life to follow up my explanation of how Shadows labor works.

"I like your hat Skye, it's cute" I smile.

"Oh yeah!" She exclaims. "Y/n, this is Ollie! Ollie this is Y/N!" Skye takes her hat off and sets it down. A very cute feathered face peeks over the counter.

"Oh my gosh Hi Ollie!" I squeal. I was getting more exited about my stay.
