Rox's POV
I was walking around Pleasant Park. I saw a girl on the bench alone. She was wearing a red dress with a microphone head set. I went over to her. When I saw her face, I was in love.
"Hi!" I greeted.
"Oh hi"
"How are you?"
"I'm good and you"
"I'm better than always"
"So do you wanna hang out?"
"Sure!"
Me and the girl started walking to her house. When we got there she told me to sit on the couch.
"Hey I didn't get your name"
"Oh, my name is Demi"
"My name is Rox"
"That's a cute name"
I blushed. I was sitting on her nice couch. Her place actually is nice. Better than mines. She then came in with 2 glasses of wine. Red wine. I took up a glass and drank it. Demi puts her glass down and I do too.
"So Rox, what's your sexuality?"
Is she really asking what my sexuality is? Well I'm a lesbian because of my ex Vendetta. He cheated on me with a lot of other girls. One of them was my friend Lynx. She's a bitch. All she ever does is take people's man. Now we're not friends. She said she wanted to fight me. She can kiss my ass.
"I'm L-lesbian" I replied.
Demi looked excited.
"I am too"
She kept giving me the sexy look but I ignored her. We decided to watch some comedy movies. We saw the funniest ones and we couldn't stop laughing. We laughed so hard that we couldn't breathe. We decided to turn off the t.v. We then looked into each other's eyes. I wanted to kiss her so bad. Her head gets closer to mines, and mines gets closer to her. We were getting closer to each other. At one point we almost kissed but we were interrupted by a knock on the door. Demi went to go open it. I saw Vendetta. I walked to the door with a discussed look.

"Rox please take me back!"
"And why would I do that?!"
"Because I'm the best guy in the world?!"
"Fuck off Vendetta, I don't want you! You can go back to Lynx!"
"But she doesn't love me no more, she left me for another guy"
"Well now you know how I feel. Now leave!"
"But—"
"You heard her! Leave my household!" Demi shouted at him.
"Rox I only need you back"
"Cheaters never win"
Then Demi closed the door shut. I was looking at Demi. Then I saw her arm. It was a robotic arm.
"Demi what's wrong with your arm?"
"It got paralyzed.."
"How?"
"My friend was mad at me so she hit my arm with a metal bat"
"I would've been mad"
"I know..I was too"
"It's better then no arm"
"Yeah, thank god"
I went closer to Demi. We had our arms around each other's waist. We got closer. Then our lips connect.
"I love you Demi"
"I love you to Rox"

The transformation into fae form comes as a shock: all seven, whether originally female or male, find themselves now unreasonably beautiful women. More urgent even than that, though, is their captivity. Getting back to the real world is a higher priority than this metamorphosis that rapidly begins to feel natural... but this is only the first step, as the diverse types of fae blood they carry begin to surface. The pattern in the list of missing friends is easy to spot, but makes no sense at all. Then a young woman turns up at the backyard gate who knows more than she should, and even though her explanation makes even less sense, every instinct tells Kayla that Riley is her only way to get them back. If they're not quite what they were, well, that's a bridge to cross later... Just a little note: I'm a big believer in endings that are upbeat but not candy-coated, and not a fan of grim-and-gritty or of glamorized violence. These are adults in a difficult situation. However, no one gets raped, and the physical violence is, all things considered, fairly minimal. There is some harassment, sexual and otherwise, and also some mild restraint and mild verbal abuse. Complicating factors are generally wizardly or fae in nature. If I need to warn you about gender in this being all over the map, some of it reality-based rather than fantasy-based, highly diverse sexuality, or that there is (especially later) some indirect fetish/BDSM imagery and honest character discussion, then you probably should just avoid everything I write. :-) Also available on Scribble Hub.
