Chen Xiao Mi finished half a bottle within seconds and he kept smacking his lips delightfully.

"You can hand it back to me if you can't finish it now."

Chen Xiao Mi clutched the bottle like a mother hen protecting a baby hen.

Lu Lin laughed and said, "Don't worry, I will keep it just for you. We need to be cautious, no one can see this bottle."

Chen Xiao Mi nodded and handed the bottle to Lu Lin.

"Can we store other stuff in your store?" Chen Xiao Mi asked.

"Correct."

Chen Xiao Mi gasped, "So I didn't have to carry the boar in my basket last time we went to town, we could have put it in your store and walked all the way to town empty-handed?"

"Technically yes," Lu Lin nodded, "But other people might see, that's why I didn't mention it."

Lu Lin agreed, it was a bit risky.

"Don't worry, I won't mention a word to anyone else as long as you don't do any dishonest practices with your store." Chen Xiao Mi assured Lu Lin.

Lu Lin nodded with a broad smile.

"There's a fair in the village in a couple of days, is there anything in your store that we can exchange for money?"

Lu Lin thought for a while and said, "The stuff in my store is too different, I don't think it's a good idea to sell them in public. Plus there's enough food in the store, we don't need to worry about anything for the entire winter."

Chen Xiao Mi was thrilled to hear that, 'enough food for the entire winter', that was just awesome!

Chen Xiao Mi and Lu Lin both decided to hide this from Chen Xiao Mai and Chen Xiao Cai for they were both too young.

Lu Lin was surprised to see Chen Xiao Mi's reaction, Chen Xiao Mi didn't look shocked or worried, he looked rather interested.

Chen Xiao Mi thought about the glass marbles Lu Lin had given him, that was indeed too novel. So he asked Lu Lin whether there was anything less conspicuous.

"How about alcohol?"

"You have alcohol in your store?" Chen Xiao Mi asked with curiosity.

Lu Lin nodded, "of course."

Alcohol was easy to store, it never expired, and people loved alcohol!

Lu Lin had stored liquor, wine, and all kinds of beer in his store. Especially beer, there were over a hundred boxes of beer in the store. But the packaging would definitely arouse suspicion.

"Can I have a look?" Chen Xiao Mi was getting more and more curious.

"A mule? What so you want a mule for?"

"We can ride the mule or use the mule to carry stuff to town."

"That's a waste of money, we can always walk." Chen Xiao Mi looked displeased.

Lu Lin shook his head, "It's easier when we have a mule, what if the boar is too heavy? Plus we can take Mai and Cai to town to enrich their experience."

Chen Xiao Mi rolled his eyes, 'This Lu Lin, he has already started daydreaming. But he has a point, we can use a mule for a lot of things. Hmm, wait, wait, how are we going to feed the mule? We don't have any farm or field now... ...'

"Are you a rich kid in your time and space?" Chen Xiao Mi asked Lu Lin.

Lu Lin was stunned for a second, he was by no means rich in modern society, he worked hard to make a living. But on the other hand, he indeed had a much better life than a rich kid or a young master in this time and space.

"Kind of." Lu Lin nodded hesitantly.

"Really? No rich kid would cook." Chen Xiao Mi didn't buy that.

Lu Lin laughed, "Cooking is like my hobby."

Chen Xiao Mi pursed his lips and pointed at the beer can, "You are right, the packaging will bring us trouble. Is this can made of aluminum?"

"Correct."

"What a waste! To use such a beautiful can to store alcohol!" Chen Xiao Mi frowned.

Lu Lin just nodded and echoed Chen Xiao Mi, he didn't have the heart to tell Chen Xiao Mi that aluminum can was worthless in modern society.
