Toni looked out the window of the tour bus as they drove down the highway. Their first concert they were doing was in California so it was still quite the journey but no plane trips yet.

"not feeling in the uplifted mood?" Sweetpea asked as he went over to Toni, offering her a beer which she gladly took and downed some of.

"just got a lot going on Sweetpea, it's fine It will eventuslly pass over, I just gotta focus on this tour and make sure everything goes right" Toni sipped her beer then rested the cold glass on her forehead for a moment before removing it again.

"why is it so fucking hot in here" toni pulled off her serpent jacket and laid it on the side.

"I don't know but we are trying to keep this bus as cool as possible. I'm pretty sure fangs tried to get into the beer cooler. Did not work" sweetpea chuckled.

"don't let him ruin my beer or I will throw his ass off" Toni warned and sweetpea rose his hands in surrender

"OK ok I will keep an eye on the man child" he lowered his hands and stepped back and walked off leaving Toni alone again to go deep into thought. Never a good thing to do.

He thoughts went back to the previous night, the argument that had erupted before Daniel broke it, Which Toni was quite thankful for. She rubbed her eyes a little and tried to push away the bad thoughts that seeped in.

"Toni..." Tonis head titled up and her eyes fell on the raven haired girl who had a sad smile on her face as she took a seat next to Toni. "what's going on... You seem off, upset" Veronica asked, her voice gentle and considerate as she laid her hand on Toni's. Toni shook her head and sipped her drink before placing it to the side.

"I... Its nothing.." she forced a smile but she knew Veronica saw right through it.

"look Toni you don't have to tell me anything, it's your private life alright... But if you do need someone to go to or you just need to be held for awhile and cry it out...im here for you, no matter what. Even if in in another country, I will pop right on a plane and come for you.. You are never alone" Toni slowly linked her fingers with Veronica's and laid her head on her shoulder, nuzzling her face into her neck trying to hold back the tears.

"I'm just... I'm just so tired" she whispered her voice a little strained.

"close your eyes, I will be here when you wake, just rest up TT" Veronica rested her head on Toni's and Toni finally shut her eyes. Toni dropped off into a deep sleep and it wasn't long until Veronica did the same.

20 minutes later Kylie came around with Jade and were about to talk to the pink haired girl but stopped when they saw her asleep.

"when did they get so close?" Kylie asked, a slight sneer in her voice "I know Toni mentioned how Veronica was there during her traumas but I didn't realise she was that close to her"

"traumas? What trauma did she have?" Jade asked curiously.

"It doesn't matter" Kylie quickly dismissed it.

"well apparently they were close since high school, they were lovers back then so it's been told but Toni ended up going with Cheryl, however there is another rumour that Toni proposed or was meant to propose to Veronica so its been told" Jade shrugged, only knowing bits and bobs about Toni's past.

"what?" Kylie turned her head shock over her face.

"yup, but I dunno what's true from false" Jade shrugged.

"it's true" Sweetpea interrupted.

"We all thought Veronica was Toni's endgame to be fair, we thought she'd end up with her. The proposing thing however, Veronica's father gave Toni the ring. Told her she should propose even though Toni was with Cheryl. Stuff happened but I don't think she ended up doing it. And Veronica went to New York, Toni and Cheryl stayed in riverdale. For awhile and they just stayed friends" Sweetpea looked over the pair.

Jade pulled out her phone and took a picture.

"such sweeties" she laughed quietly.

"whatever" Kylie walked off and went into her own room.

"what's her problem?" Jade scoffed.

"No idea"

"Amelia please just sit and eat your food would ya" Cheryl groaned as Amelia seemed reluctant to eat. Thankfully Thomas was.

"Daniel come out here and have your Dinner!" Cheryl called out and Daniel came bounding in.

"Mums on the bus still, the Internet is going crazy about what Jade posted, Mum and Aunt V must be so tired already, how long until they reach their destination?" Daniel asked. Cheryl Rose her brow and went online onto Jade's account and looked at her most recent picture.

Cheryl looked at the photo and frowned a little. She knew she shouldn't think too much of it but that flare of anger grew.

"fucking Lodge.." she hissed under her breath and opened up her messages and went on Tonis number

Cheryl finished rhe message and went back to the kids.

"bloody hell Amelia just eat your food!" Cheryl snapped and Amelia froze then started to sniff a little.

"I want mum" she got off her chair.

"Amelia I didn't mean to snap I'm sorry I've just been stressed" Cheryl got up but Amelia ran off with Daniel going after her. Thomas just continued to eat his nuggets in peace, avoiding the conflicts.

Toni jolted up waking Veronica instantly too. Tonis breath was heavy and sharp.

"hey hey its ok I'm here it was one of your nightmares again" veronica got off her chair and crouched in front of her

"look at me Toni, focus on ms" Toni followed her instructions and kept her eyes on Veronica.

"breathe in for 4 hold for 4 and release for 4" she spoke in a soothing voice. Toni followed her instructions and took the long slow breaths, feeling her body begin to rest and go back to a normal state.

"thank you.." Toni whispered, still shaking a little.

"hey I heard what's going on and I grabbed these" Kylie chucked Veronica a pot of Toni's medication. "I have some for emergencies"

"thank you" Veronica nodded a little and Toni took the pot and had a couple.

"you doing alright Toni?" Kylies rested her hand on Toni's shoulder gently. She simply nodded and rubbed her eyes a little.

"I'm good yeah, come on I'm up now. Let's go have some fun, where are the boys" Toni forced herself to her feet.

"out back being idiots" Kylie rolled her eyes.

"right I better go save the children before they end up getting themselves killed" she huffed and looked at her phone. The message that was there caught her off guard. She shoved her phone away again and tried not to think about it.
