The car ride home had been the quietest, most awkward part, nobody spoke after the event that had played out before. Though the kids didn't exactly know what was going on they knew not to ask any questions.

When they were back at the house however the kids went back to talking again, running and playing around.

Cheryl went straight to their kitchen and pulled out a bottle of wine. Toni followed behind, slipping her arms around Cheryl's waist, holding her gently in her grasp. She was glad to feel Cheryl's body relax under her touch.

"I'm assuming you want a glass?" she asked pulling out two wine glasses and placing them on the table.

"mhmm" Toni mumbled and pressed a light kiss to the back of her neck. Cheryl poured them both drinks then placed the bottle down, turning to face Toni directly.

"we should get together tonight" Cheryl suddenly suggested.

"wait you want to have sex tonight? Uh sure, we can do if you want" Toni shrugged and sipped her own drink. Sadly they didn't really ever get to spontaneously make love anymore. Not with the kids around, they now had to plan ahead.

"throw on a couple movies, wear them out then we can get to it" Cheryl suggested.

"sounds like a plan, I will put in some pizza" Toni kissed Cheryl's lips for a moment then went to go put the food in. Cheryl gathered the kids and brought them to the living room where their large TV was. She let them pick a film each.

A little while later Toni came out with pizza and laid it on the coffee table. They all squeezed onto one sofa. Toni was next to Cheryl in the middle, Daniel to Tonis side, amelia and Thomas on Cheryl's.

They all tucked into the food putting on the first film which Amelia picked which was Finding Nemo. Toni knew Cheryl's plan was already working as Daniels head flopped onto her shoulder. She gently kissed the top of his head and let him rest there.

The next film choice was The Avengers which Thomas picked. Toni was glad at the choice. Slowly one by one the kids were starting to drop off, heads becoming heavier. The only thing keeping Toni more awake was the fact Cheryl's hand was rubbing at her inner thigh keeping her heart racing.

Finally Daniel picked Star wars A new hope, which carried on until later hours. By the time the film finished all the kids were asleep.

"we shouldn't wake them" Cheryl whispered to Toni, looking over the kids.

"you go wait in the bedroom, I will carry them all to bed" Toni kissed Cheryl's cheek and she followed Tonis command.

Toni took the kids, one by one, to their beds. She made sure they were all tucked in and safe before leaving them, heading to her and Cheryl's room.

"alright babe the kids are-" she stopped as she went into the room, her eyes tracing down her wife who had undressed leaving only crimson lace undergarments.

"cat got your tongue?" she teased, a small smirk on her lips as she prowled over, tugging Toni by the collar of her jacket. She happily obeyed her, following her towards the bed. Their lips met in a heated passionate kiss which caused Cheryl to fall back onto the bed, Toni crawling on top.

"you're so beautiful" Toni whispered, laying kisses down her chest to her stomach.

"I missed this" Cheryl spoke out almost as a moan, craving Tonis touch. Toni kept kissing further down till she reached laced edging. She pressed a kiss where the fabric covered, readying her for the intrusion which she was about to cause.

Only it never came. As Toni moved her head back at the whimpering shout out from Amelia.

"mum!?" Amelia called out, Toni jumped back

"baby I'm sure it's nothing, come on we never get any time together anymore" Cheryl begged but Toni didn't listen, instead running to the twins room.

"hey sweetie I'm here... What's wrong" Toni asked but her reply was a strong hug from the little girl.

"I had a nightmare" she sniffed as her face buried into the bottom of Tonis top.

"it's ok it was just a dream, nightmares can't hurt you. Nothing can hurt you, because mum will always protect you, I'm never gonna leave you" Toni knelt in front of the young child and Amelia wiped her eyes.

"promise you won't leave?" she sniffed again.

"why would I ever leave?" Toni frowned a little at the thought of leaving her daughter.

"you go away a lot.. I'm scared one day you won't come back, you will forget about us" Amelias words broke Tonis heart.

"I'm never gonna leave you behind. I will always come back" Toni promised

"now let's get you back in bed" toni lifted the small girl and placed her back in the bed, tucking her back in.

"can you stay with me tonight?" Amelia asked quietly.

"yeah of course, look I gotta go do something for jsut a minute and then I will return" Toni kissed Amelias forehead and left her room. She went through to the bathroom where she hid her pills. She took a few, she didn't want to have her nightmares when she was next to Amelia so she took a few extra to make sure. She went back to the twins room, closing the door behind her. When she went to Amelias bed she noticed the little girl had fallen asleep. She knew she could go to her own bedroom but instead she removed her jacket and placed it on the side, taking one of the many teddies Amelia had in the corner and used it as a pillow when she laid on the floor,closing her eyes and drifting off, not leaving her spot beside Amelias bed.

Cheryl waited and waited for Toni to return but she seemed to have no such luck. She went out the room and to Amelias room. She noticed Toni on the floor and sighed slightly. There was not going the be any fun for her tonight then. She grabbed a blanket from the side and gently laid it over Tonis sleeping figure before leaving once again. Cheryl went to their room again and laid on the bed, slipping under the covers. Trying to let herself fall asleep but struggling to do so.
