"Dream? Dream?? DREAM!!" Mila yelled trying to catch Dream's attention. "Oh...sorry what?" Dream said snapping back into reality. "I was trying to tell you about a medical issue Snow has but you zoned out" Mila said worried. "Oh right, yes sorry" Dream replied realizing all he 'heard' was just a imagination
"So she has trouble eating because of something wrong with her stomach?" Dream asked slightly confused. "Well yeah I guess you can consider it that. She's healing nicely and probably will be okay by the time this medicine bottle runs out" Mila smiled. "Oh okay, got it. So how do you want to go about George finding out?" Dream asked. "Well that's completely up to you!" Mila smiled. "Maybe you can say you have to bring Snow somewhere and you want me to go with you because it has something to do with my 'job' or something, but you can bring me back to my house and I'll hide her in our room then when he get's home he will see her" Dream smiled

"Snow!!" George laughed as Snow pounced on him. "Hey George, me and Dream are gonna need to take snow somewhere really quick" Mila said approaching George. "Awww okay...is she alright?" George said worried. "Oh don't worry, she's alright" Mila smiled. George smiled back handing Mila and Dream Snow. "Thanks Gogy" Dream smiled giving George a look that'd Dream knew would scare him. George gulped but managed to smile
Mila lead Snow to the car as Dream hopped in the front seat and began the drive to their house. The ride was only about 5 minutes from the shelter. Snow was pretty good with the ride there but got a little bit nervous. After the ride there Dream got out of the car and smiled as he let snow and Mila out

"Are you nervous?" Mila asked as she followed Dream into the house. "Uhm I don't know, maybe a little?" Dream replied as he opened the door. "Oh and there she goes!" Mila chuckled as she watched snow run into the house. Snow immediately found Dream and Georges room. "Okay Dream you stay here and bond with Snow while I go grab her food, water, bed, medication, and toys" Dream smiled at Mila as she watched him take his car to the store
"So Snow, this is your new home! I hope you're excited! I'm excited but I know someone who will be even more excited, and I think you know exactly who I'm talking about!" Dream happily giggled as he bonded with Snow
Soon Mila returned with all the supplies needed for Snow. "Okay where do you want Snow's stuff to be set up?" Mila asked looking at Dream. "Right here should be good, I know George is going to want her stuff close to him" Dream chuckled. Mila smiled back in response. Dream and Mila now began to set up everything for Snow until Dream got a message from George
hey is everything alright?
yes everything is good love, I'll be back soon
okay, I love you
I love you too
"Is everything okay?" Mila asked Dream. "Oh yes, George was just wondering if we were okay" Dream replied smiling. "Oh of course, we should head back and you should bring George home" Mila smiled. "Okay" Dream smiled back. "Snow be good, we will be right back" Dream chuckled at Snow as he turned around and headed to the car with Mila
The drive back was simple and quiet. Soon they arrived back to the shelter. "Okay good luck Dream, I hope everything goes good" Mila smiled patting Dream on his shoulder. Dream smiled in return as he left to go grab George

"Oh hi Dream! Wait where is Snow?" George asked worried. "Oh she has to stay at the vet overnight so they can make sure her current food is working" Dream lied. "Okay" George smiled back believing him. "Okay so we are getting off early so are you ready to go home?" Dream smiled at George. "Yeah sure" George replied
The two headed back to the car quietly with quiet with random chuckles in between the silence for no reason. Soon the two arrived back at the house, Dream was quite nervous but he knew George would be happy
Dream opened the door as the two walked in. "SNOW!?!?" George practically yelled as Snow ran over to him jumping on him. "What is Snow doing here?!?" George chuckled in disbelief. "She's yours love" Dream chuckled kneeling down with George. "Oh my god are you being serious" George replied. "Yes love I am being serious" Dream chuckled back. Before Dream could do anything else George fell into his arms crying of happiness. "Dream I love you so much thank you" George cried into Dreams shoulder
Dream has never seen George this emotional but he knew this was a good one. Him and George were finally happy and free from the past. Everything was simple. Waking up next to each other, watching movies, laughing for no reason, and just being in each others company
Who knew two boys who hated each other would end up running away across the country and falling in love and living the rest of their life together. Nobody knew to be exact. It's not what you would call your normal love story that's for sure. All that mattered was that they were happy and nobody could stop that. Their parents were something they would figure out another day

This Used to be About Dungeons
This Used to be About Dungeons is a comfy slice-of-life adventuring story that occasionally features dungeons. Updates Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Mostly it's about walking in the woods with a friend, looking for mushrooms to put in your soup, or haggling with the guy selling squash, or taking care of a neglected garden. It's putting some jam on shortbread biscuits. And yes, sometimes you go down into the dungeons with your friends, and you kill monsters there, or disarm traps, but when you come out, you realize you've found the perfect magic item to give to one of the local kids that helped you out when your cat was sick. Look, the dungeons are always going to be there, and sometimes you need to make a journey to one of the Spirit Gates, or make a pilgrimage with the local Cleric of Symmetry to a holy shrine. Your tour through the local dungeons can wait. You'll have rivalries with other groups, and find some dungeon eggs that need to be carefully incubated in case they turn out to be something valuable, and help a friend to build a fishing weir. There's a big world out there, a mostly tame place with lots of magic, and even more to do and see. Join me, won't you?The cover image is Morning Sunlight Effect, Eragny, by Camille Pissarro.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes
