《Pottah ✔》Chapter 21

Harry couldn't help but bite his lips as his eyes wandered all over Draco. The boy was built alright, sculpted for the Gods themselves. His pale skin starkly contrasted by the pink tints on his cheeks, his lips were swollen and wet, his hair a mess and he was still shamelessly stroking himself.
"Do... do you mind?" He weakly breathed, a slight frown on his face but a contrasting smirk was still on his face. Just then, Harry realised how awfully creepy he was being. As soon as he found his project partner wanking, he was just standing there watching.
"Right, right. Take your time, I'm sorry." Harry excused himself as he covered Harco's eyes. Walking into the common room, the room felt much more chilly than Draco's room for quite obvious reasons but Harry felt himself heating up as well. Was he enjoying the view? He has never felt so confused in his life at Hogwarts. It was quite conflicting in all honesty, his relationship with Ginny was more of puppy love than... whatever this hot mess was.
"Guess we'll go alone." Harry shrugged, picking up Harco and leaving for the forbidden forest. The air was so much more refreshing out here than in the dormitories with students he didn't even know, the gentle breeze comforted him, stroking his hair and the sun light warmly kissed his skin as he wandered off into the woods. He could relate with why Draco loved being out here alone so much, but doesn't it get lonely at times? Like on full moons when you hear wolves howl or the hooting of the owls, it felt awfully deserted of other people. It would feel terrible to be out here alone on those days.
After a minute or two, Harco finished doing whatever he needed to do and Harry finally decides he and Draco would need some time apart after their little fiasco so he thought a little Gryffindor spirit would cheer him and hopefully help him figure out his situation a little bit. Weaving his way through the bustling yet familiar halls, he finally reaches his original dormitory where he could hear Ron chuckling through the door. Opening the door was yet another decision he regrets, Hermione straddled Ron happily as they laughed and kissed.

"Oh my God! Ron! Hermione!" Harry shrieked, nearly throwing Harco across the room but instead manage to restrict himself enough to only have a name-shouting incident instead. Immediately, Hermione falls off Ron and Ron worriedly stares over the arm chair.
"Hermione, are you okay?" He worriedly asks, holding out a hand.
"Yes, but what the hell Harry? Don't you knock?" Hermione hissed as she rubbed her head.
"It's the bloody common room for Merlin's sake, who knocks? Besides, Hermione, the O level student being snuck into the Gryffindor's boy dormitory was too much of a gem to miss. But whatever was happening after that, I would've loved to miss." Harry groaned, walking straight to his room. Why was his reaction to Ron and Hermione different to Draco? They were both clearly doing the same kind of things. Harry groaned as he stares out the window. A soft squawk was all it took to draw his attention away though, his mind was in shambles right now. His face softened as he squat down to meet eye level with the iridescent-eyed griffon.
"Harco, what is happening to me?" He whispered solemnly.
"What's happening to you?" Ron asks.
"Weren't you occupied with Hermione?" Harry shot up with furrowed eyebrows, feeling exceptionally intruded today.
"Being caught by you wasn't too much of a turn on you see, she decided that she needed to go back to her dorm for some 'mind clearing'." Ron rolled his eyes. "Seriously, mate, what the fuck though? I thought you were going to stay at Slytherin's for a week. That was not cool, man. It took forever to get the common room to ourselves." Ron angrily ranted.
"Look, I'm terribly sorry for my horrible timing but I've had a very confusing day so far and I'm glad we only have charms left before I can go to sleep and clear my mind but right now, I'm not crystal-clear, a-okay." Harry sighed, he really wasn't. It wasn't that deep but being heterosexual was somewhat part of his identity. No one could ever imagine him being gay, not even himself. It was just weird if he started dating Draco, if Draco agreed of course. And Draco might even be homophobic - that's still a possibility.

"Right, I accept your apology. So what exactly is the matter?" Ron sat down on the bed next to where Harry sat.
"I... I don't know, I just... I just feel like I'm not myself." Harry sighed, staring at his outstretched palms. He has yet to meet someone who was gay in Hogwarts, he has yet to have another relationship. He hasn't done anything, he always thought he was the standard person - heterosexuality was something so familiar to him yet now it's so distant.
"Harry, you don't have to be yourself, take your time. It's not an assignment to find yourself. I get it, you lose yourself sometimes. It's weird and stressful but it's not a test, there is no time limit." Ron places a comforting hand on Harry's shoulder before pulling away. "You can sleep here tonight if you want." He says before turning to Harco. Harry nodded weakly, but then a small flame reignites in his heart - Ron was right. He had time. It doesn't matter, he doesn't have to know. He can be whatever, because he has time and he has a choice to find himself or accept himself. It was all a discovery, an experience.
"Thank you, Ron... I don't - I'm not going to sleep here tonight." Harry smiles as he picks up Harco. "I have to do something."

There is only one problem: she may be losing control of her abilities. Sixteen years after a global pandemic devastated the earth’s population, the lines in the old United States have been drawn between the Cheyenne Directorate in Colorado and the New England Alliance on the East Coast. The Directorate, of which Alexandra is a part, is a small but powerful organization dedicated to returning the country to its former glory. However, when a diplomatic mission to the New England Alliance goes wrong, Alexandra finds herself at the center of a bloody civil war. Battles are fought on the old highways and in dilapidated towns and once-great cities. And as the conflict escalates, all of North America faces the threat of being burnt away by nuclear fire. Against this backdrop of war, Alexandra tries to uncover the long-hidden secrets behind the plague, her abilities, and the two men fighting to decide the fate of the United States - Henry Bedford, Alexandra's father and leader of the Directorate, and John Martin, the mysterious figure at the heart of the New England Alliance who may hold the key to everything she seeks. None of this will matter, however, unless Alexandra can prevent the power growing inside her from taking over and consuming the very world she is fighting to save. Author's Notes: I appreciate you taking a look at my novel, The Girl from the Mountain. If you're a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, military thrillers, and/or cosmic horror, I think you'll enjoy this story. I completed the novel's first draft back in 2011 and made significant changes in 2016. Since then, I've more-or-less sat on the manuscript while working on other projects. Thanks to a bit of prodding, I've decided to send this story out into the wild with some touch-ups and additional revisions. I welcome any comments or criticisms, and I hope you enjoy The Girl from the Mountain!

The Ramayana - Lakshmila's POV
We have read The Ramayana as kids and always knew it to be the story of Rama and his consort Sita. Every character has an important role to play. But not all of them have found much importance is any of the version. One such character is Urmila and her story with Lakshmana. All versions mention Urmila's sacrifice as "Unparalleled" but none depicted it. This story is an attempt to present the story of Ramayana from Urmila and Lakshmana's POV. Note : This story is fictional. The characters are the same. This story is an insight of The Ramayana through Lakshman and Urmila's eyes. There would be Nobody's POV also. The events are the same but the depiction is part of fiction. Parts of the story is loosely based/inspired from Sita's Sister but I have taken creative liberty to give my character more edge and depth.
