after dinner everyone went to get ready for bed

"Hey wendy wanna use The spare room we have?" Rouge asked

"Umm sure but isn't Natsu gonna sleep in that room?" She asked

"I think he may be to afraid to on his own after what happened...." Rouge spoke

"I would be as well..." Wendy spoke as she brushed her hair

"Well I'm heading to bed night wendy" he smiled and put his hair down from its usual short ponytail and walked into his room

Wendy smiled and stood up heading to the spare room to go to bed

In stings room natsu was getting ready for bed as he put on a huge shirt and shorts and yawned as he crawled into bed and closed his eyes

Sting walked in and found natsu asleep as he smiled and walked over to natsu and kissed him on the forehead as he went and changed into his sleep wear then quietly snuck into bed and sighed

"Tomorrow is gonna be chaos...." Sting spoke then turned to natsu who was still asleep

"Hehe but your worth it" he laughed lightly and closed his eyes

As sting expected in the morning everyone was awakened by a knock on the door

"Hmm?" Natsu rubbed his eyes and sat up

"Huh....what is it natsu?" Sting asked still half asleep

"There is a knock on the door..." Natsu rubbed his eyes and got up as sting sighed and grabbed his arm

"Rouge will get it....just lay back down.." Sting pulled natsu as he fell back

"What if he doesn't..." Natsu added

"He will.." Sting closed his eyes

Natsu got up and dragged sting out of bed as the two walked to the front door and opened it,Natsu's eyes widened as he ran and hugged the person

"Dad! Your here early!" Natsu spoke as igneel hugged him back

Sting looked at the man he was expecting a dragon not a scary tall man.....

"It's Good to see you natsu" igneel spoke with a smile as he hugged his dear son

Sting smiled and watched as natsu had a huge grin on his face,it made sting happy to see natsu like this

After a few seconds of the father and son hug they let go and igneel looked at sting

"So your the boy I've been hearing about?" Igneel spoke

"E-ehh?" Sting spoke confused and a bit worried

"So your the nice boy who helped my son thanks" igneel walked over and hit stings back which made him jump

"Hehe y-yeah" sting smiled best he could as natsu laughed

"Why the hell is it so loud in here..." Rouge walked in and rubbed his eyes as he saw the strange man

"Sting....who is this?" Rouge asked

"This is igneel....Natsu's father!" Sting smiled nervously

"Oh....hello" rouge waved a little and yawned

"Geez.....he's nothing like this when fully awake.." Sting thought

"Are you rouge?" Igneel asked as rouge nodded

"Yep *yawn* that's me..." Rouge stretched

Sting sighed and walked over to his close Friend and pushed him back in his room

"Alright go back to bed sleepy head" sting said as he pushed rouge back into his room

"He seems.....nice" igneel spoke

"Trust me he's not usually like that....💧"natsu replied then yawned

"Seems I got here to early....." Igneel spoke and rustled his sons hair

"Nah *yawn*" natsu replied as sting rolled his eyes

"Alright let's head back to bed..." Sting grabbed natsu by the arm and pulled him along

"Wait where is dad gonna stay?" Natsu yawned

"Oh! Umm..." Sting thought

"I'll stay on the couch..." Igneel spoke the laid on the couch

"Alright *yawn* " natsu was super tired and sting laughed a bit and dragged him back to bed

~a while later~

Sting woke up and stretched as he looked to his side and saw natsu still asleep

"*sigh* come on sleepy head time to wake up.."sting laughed as he poked Natsu's cheek

"Ugh...five more minutes...." Natsu groaned into the pillow

"We gotta get u-" sting was interrupted by a loud crashing noise outside

"That was loud!" Natsu shot up

"Yeah let's go.." Sting jumped up as natsu filled behind as they got to the front door natsu froze before touching the door knob

"What's wrong natsu?" Sting asked as he saw natsu seemed afraid

"H-he's here.." Natsu whispered shaking a bit

"Who is!?" Sting seemed worried as a sudden roar was heard

"Rouge and wendy! Where are they!?" Sting looked around but saw no sight of them then ran out the house

"Natsu come on!" He grabbed Natsu's hand and ran out the house

As they looked rouge and wendy where hiding in a forest area,as natsu and sting looked up they saw 2 dragons in battle

"I-igneel..." Natsu watched as Acnologia and igneel fought high in the sky

"T-that's igneel!" Sting was shocked

Igneel glared down at the two and his eyes widened as he knocked Acnologia back

"GET NATSU OUT OF SIGHT!" Igneel yelled as a bunch of mages watched is fear

Sting looked at natsu then grabbed his hand and ran into the forest to hide with rouge and Wendy

They all watched as the dragons fought as natsu watched in fear as a sudden voice snapped him out of it

"Natsu....natsu!" He was being shaken by gray who had ran to check on the loud roar

Natsu looked at gray and back at the sky then at sting then at the sky then at the grass in front of him as a large amount of blood fell on the grass...

At that moment natsu looked up as his face showed terror what he saw was igneel with a huge hole in his side and the arm of Acnologia in his mouth....

"I-igneel....."Natsu spoke watching his father fall to earth

"I-IGNEEL!" Natsu screamed tears streaming down his face

"N-no way.." Gray watched

Natsu ran from the forest Over to igneel who laid there

"Natsu!" Sting reached and chased after him

"N-natsu....Acnologia will r-retreat for now..."igneel spoke

"Igneel you'll be okay....you have to be!" Natsu cried

"I-I'm sorry natsu....but I won't be able t-to go home w-with you..." Igneel spoke tears starting to fall

"Watch out!" Sting spoke as he ran and hugged natsu as they rolled away from igneel as a beam of magic dissinagrated igneel as natsu watched eyes widened and tears flowing

"I love you natsu...." Igneel spoke the turned to dust...

Acnologia then flew far then disappeared as natsu stared at his fathers ashes...

"H-he....n-no....I-igneel...I-I had so much....so much I wanted to tell you..." Natsu cried as sting pulled natsu into a hug as they sat there natsu crying as everyone looked on in sadness

After the cries of natsu seized they went back into the house,it was gloomy and sad natsu was laying in bed as gray sat in anger on the couch

"Damn him!" Gray slammed his fist on the couch

"I-igneel...." Wendy lowered her head and sniffled a bit

Sting sat there his head low in sadness as rouge clenched his hands together

"I'm going to go check on natsu...." Sting got up and walked to his room

"We need to leave here for a while....." Rouge spoke

"Yes we need to leave to somewhere Acnologia can't find us for a while...." Wendy spoke

"tenrou island....."gray spoke

"It's safe for now it's hard to find if you've never been there before" gray added

"Then we will go there for the time being..."rouge spoke

~a few days later~

Natsu was somewhat back to normal his smile came back and that made everyone glad

"So where going to tenrou island? Haven't been there in a while.." Natsu smiled a bit

"Yep and where taking a boat there!" Gray spoke

"A BOAT!" Rouge,sting and natsu shouted

"Yep for 3 hours~" wendy added

"3 HOURS!" The three dragon slayers fell to the ground

~after a long and....sick 3 hours~

As they got on shore natsu laid on the beach sick to his stomach as sting stood up and turned a little blue,rouge wobbled and held his head a bit

"Poor natsu he's got it worse.... " Wendy looked at natsu

~after a few minutes of sickness~

Natsu got up sickly and wrapped a arm around stings shoulder

"Worst trip ever!" He then turned blue again

"Geez not looking forward to the ride back..." Sting added

"Don't be babies" gray spoke as he looked around

"Do you even know where we are?" Rouge asked

"Yes follow me.." Gray the walked into the jungle like area as the others followed

As they walked they stumbled upon a building

"See" gray spoke then walked into the building as rouge rolled his eyes and dragged his,Natsu's and stings luggage into the building as wendy dragged hers in

"Alright there is only one room here..... But it's got 2 bed so let's partner up.." Rouge spoke

"I choose natsu" sting spoke

"And I'll go with rouge" wendy spoke

"Alright gray you get the couch bed" rouge laughed a bit

"Yeah yeah" gray added and went over to the couch and placed his bags on it

"This is a very pretty place!" Wendy spoke as she looked out one of the windows

"Let's hope it stays that way...." Natsu added as wendy tilted her head

"What do you mean natsu?" Wendy asked

"We need to be careful just in case.." Gray spoke for natsu

"Well it's almost night time we should all just relax and get ready for the night.." Rouge spoke as he headed to the kitchen but stopped

"What is it?" Sting asked

"Something....no someone else is on this island I just felt something...." Rouge replied then turned back to them

"Who's magic does it feel like?" Sting asked and looked worried at natsu

".....zerefs....he might have followed us here...." Rouge whispered as if zeref where close

"Just act like you don't sense him if he try's anything.....we attack...." Gray intruded on the little whisper convo

"Natsu...I want you to stay in the house okay?" Sting looked at natsu

"W-whaaa? Why!?" Natsu replied

"Zeref may try something...."sting looked angered and very serious so natsu nodded

"After this we all need to go on a real vacation..." Natsu mumbled and sighed

Natsu stretched and out of the corner of his eye he saw a figure outside the window move through the shadows

"What the heck was that?" Natsu thought as he continued to look

"What is it natsu?" Sting asked and looked to where natsu was starring but he saw nothing

"It's nothing im just tired...." Natsu shook his head

After a meal by yours truly{rouge} everyone headed to there beds but natsu sat on the steps outside looking up at the sky

"Dad...." Natsu sighed and held his head in his hands

After a bit he lifted his head again as he herd a cracking sound so he looked then suddenly a hand placed itself over Natsu's mouth as Natsu's eyes widened as he suddenly felt a hand hit his neck.....then everything went black
