《5SOS Sickfics》Luke- Japanese Chicken

The lads of 5 Seconds of Summer were on their last night in Tokyo, and would be heading to Sweden the next evening. They loved it in Tokyo, so they decided to go out for a proper meal instead of ordering in a pizza. They found quite a cosy looking little restaurant and chose that for their dinner. It looked good.
Glancing down the menu, Ashton decided on pasta, and Calum and Michael agreed with him. Luke, however, opted to be a 'real man', as he put it, and chose the chicken. After around 20 minutes of inappropriate jokes and obnoxious laughs being thrown around the table, the food came. It looked and smelled great, so they wasted no time in digging in. Luke went straight for his chicken, taking a huge bite. It had a slightly odd taste to it, but Luke assumed that maybe that is just how the chicken is over here, and brushed it off. It tasted good still, so why worry?
Soon enough, the boys had all finished their meals, and were ready to leave. It was only around 6:30 but they needed to get an earlier night to keep up with the jetlag and time zone changes. On the way home, Luke began to feel a bit sick, but put it down to eating too much. The meal had been rather large.
The rest of the lads looked fine, so Luke didn't say anything. He didn't want to annoy them. They soon got back to the hotel, Calum and Ashton splitting off from Michael and Luke as they left the elevator, heading to their own room. Michael fumbled to get the key out of his pocket, but soon unlocked the door and let the two of them inside. As they entered the room, Michael could see that Luke was slightly paler than usual.
"You alright mate?" Michael asked as Luke flopped down on his bed.

"Yeah." Luke mumbled, feeling tired and a little dizzy, his head and stomach beginning to hurt.
"You sure?" Michael asked, making sure.
"Just a little dizzy, I'm fine." Luke answered, getting his excess clothes off and getting under the covers.
"How was your chicken?" Michael asked, ridding himself of his skinny jeans.
"It tasted slightly off, but it was pretty good regardless." Luke admitted as Michael got into his own bed, phone in hand.
"Okay, tell me if you feel any worse, alright?"
"Yeah." Luke answered, burying his head into his pillows to try and sleep, escape from the pain that was now prominent in his head and stomach. Michael watched Luke for a couple more seconds, before turning over and starting to try to sleep himself. Michael had just drifted off, about half an hour later, when he heard hurried scrabbling. What?
He flipped over in time to see Luke dash into the bathroom, with a hand firmly clamped over his mouth. Michael laid where he was for a few seconds, until he heard the sounds of vomiting. He sighed, and got up to find Luke. The blonde was bent over the toilet, throwing up. Michael frowned and knelt down beside him, rubbing Luke's back and whispering calming words.
"There. You done?" He asked gently, once Luke stopped for a few minutes. Luke nodded slowly. Michael helped him stand up, and rinse his mouth out with water. Luke was unsteady on his feet, and gripping the sink tightly in order to stay on his feet. Michael carefully picked up the younger boy and carried him back to bed.
The two were up almost all night, rushing to and from the very unlucky toilet. By the morning, the two had gotten a maximum of thirty minutes of sleep and were both absolutely exhausted. At about 6, Luke finally managed to get to sleep for more than 5 minutes, but Michael had no such luck. Instead he decided to head over to the other lads' room to tell them what had happened.

Michael left the room with one last check on Luke, heading down the corridor to the other room, which was about 7 rooms down, for whatever reason. Knocking on the door, Michael could hear some groans and a short argument between his friends on who was going to answer the door, but soon the beautiful face of Calum appeared.
"Oh, hey Mike." Calum yawned, looking tired, but definitely not as tired as Michael was feeling. "What's up?"
"Just coming to tell you that I got almost no sleep last night, not because of my insomnia, but because Luke has a bad case of food poisoning." Michael deadpanned, not taking any shit.
"Oh." Calum looked shocked, concerned and worried all at the same. But he also looked like he was hoping that he wasn't going to be dragged in to help. "Ash! Luke has food poisoning." Calum called back to the blonde, who was sitting up in bed, frowning.
"Can you help me?" Michael asked hopefully. Calum shook his head.
"Nah, I'm staying out of that one. Sorry bro." Calum said quickly, Ashton agreeing. Seeming mad, Michael just turned and stormed back to his and Luke's room without another word. When he got back, Luke was awake, propping himself up on his elbow and looking towards the angry Michael through squinted eyes.
"What?" He asked quietly.
"What? Nothing." Michael brushed off the question, smiling. "Luke, try and go back to sleep. The more you sleep, the better you'll feel. And we need you better, we fly to Sweden tonight remember."
"Oh, yeah." Luke replied, but the truth is he wasn't feeling well enough to try and sleep. He'd thrown up while Michael was gone, having only gotten back into bed when Michael entered the room. Despite his twisting stomach and pounding head, Luke turned onto his side and closed his eyes. It failed, his stomach going haywire and making him stand up and head to the bathroom once again, Michael following him.
Once Luke finished, Michael took him back to his bed. Luke was just about asleep when Michael got him onto his bed, he quickly fell into a deep sleep. Michael sighed, realising that he'd have to start packing for the both of them, they were due at the airport at 10am, three hours away. He managed to get it all packed within an hour, hopping in bed with an alarm set for 9:15.
When his alarm went off, he started groaning, and so did the sickly lad in the bed beside him. The two got up and moved out of the room, Luke seeming pretty fine. He confirmed this to Michael, who asked how he was before they left the room. The two went down to the other room, collecting the other two before all four headed down to the car which was waiting to take the airport.
The journey to the airport was short and uneventful, thankfully. Luke was feeling a lot better now, and was actually looking forward to the flight, whereas this morning he was dreading it. When they got on the plane, everyone was giving Luke wary little glances, as if he might start spouting vomit any second. Luke noticed these looks but ignored it until around halfway through the flight, when they were beginning to get on his nerves.
"Guys, I'm fine!"
