《5SOS Sickfics》Ashton- Piggy Back

The lads of 5 Seconds Of Summer were back on the road again for their new tour and they were back at a very special destination. They were at the place where the infamous piggy back race had been held. It was a well known event by their staff, fans and friends and the lads were eager to recreate the iconic race, this time without it completely failing with a fall.
They lads had arrived at the said venue an hour ago and had been hyping themselves up for the big race. This year it was team StrongMen (Cashton) against team WeakMen (Muke) (both teams were named by Calum). The boys were excited to recreate their race but they hoped it wouldn't end out like last time.
It's was minutes before the race. Calum was super competitive and determined to win after last time so that meant pushing Ashton to the max. One of their crew members stood in the center of both of them with a flag and whistle.
" 3 , 2 , 1, GO!! " he shouted. Luke and Ashton both took off running down the small hallway, Cashton is in front but Muke were coming up behind them and fast. Luke sped past them but not without accidentally bumping into Ashton. The impact made him fall to his left barely missing the wall but not without landing on his arm the wrong way. He let out a very unmanly shriek just before breaking down into tears. Calum and Michael both hopped off to rush over with luke tagging a little behind.
They all knew that this was serious because Ashton never screams when he's in pain let alone cry. As soon as they made it to him Calum was down on the floor next to him whispering sweet little nothings into his ear trying to comfort the crying boy. His left arm was caught under him when he fell and was now bent at an inhumanly angle.

Luke was quick to call 911 and request for an ambulance. Ashton was still crying but now it's more like bawling and the ambulance still hasn't arrived. Soon the pain becomes too much and the drummer becomes limp in Calums arms. The rest of the lads start to freak out but a crew member assures them that the pain was just too much and that he will be fine.
This does little to calm their nerves for their best friend and soon sirens can be heard coming from the distance. Feeling useless Luke rushes out to call the ambulance in. A small red haired paramedic comes in with a stretcher and begins to load Ashton on.
"Who will be riding with us to identify him?" She asks.
"I will, if it's ok with you guys." Calum immediately answers. The 2 boys nod their head in sync and hopped in their car to follow the ambulance. It was a long agonizing ride but we did make it without any complications. Luke and Michael met him in the waiting room in tears. They sat down next to him in the uncomfortable plastic chairs.
Luke was crying the hardest mumbling about how this was all his fault and if he didn't run into them then Ashton wouldn't be stuck in a hospital when they were supposed to have a concert that night. Michael was pulling on his hair, crying even harder when some of it fell out. Calum wasn't crying, just thinking, hoping, praying that Ashton was going to be okay.
A few minutes later a doctor came out calling for relatives of Ashton. The boys lied, saying that Luke was his brother, Michael his cousin and Calum his boyfriend in order to get in to see Ashton. On the way, the doctor told them about Ashton's condition.

"Mr Irwin has broken his Ulna and Radius in his left arm. We have put it in a cast, surgery will not be necessary. He will not be able to use that arm for 6 to 8 weeks. This means he must keep it in a cast at all times. I have been told that he is a drummer, he won't be able to drum until 4 weeks after his cast comes off." The doctor tells them. The lads are taken to his room and are left alone.
"How you feeling Ash?" Calum asks.
"Okay, my arm is killing me though." Ash responds.
"You'll be fine. You just can't drum for 10 to 12 weeks." Luke says. Ashton's eyes widen.
"10 to 12?!? I thought maybe 4 or 6 but 12! That's like three months, like, almost all of the rest of the tour!" Ashton exclaims.
"Yeah, management know. They've gotten you a replacement because they can't postpone the tour that long. You'll basically be standing out front with us, sing your heart out." Michael says.
"Great, just great."

The universe is a very strange place. It will take even stranger heroes to save it."Absurd. Existential. Ridiculous. Tragic. Comic. The antiheroes of "I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room" are a kind of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern with space packs, inadvertently colliding with their destinies against a starry background of witty wordplay. With a vision as sprawling and limitless as the loveably goofy universe in which it's set, Browning's wit, wisdom and heart are always at play, combining to form a wonderfully panoramic and very silly heroes' journey that visits every trope of its overlapping genres and draws moustaches on all of them."- Marcel St. Pierre, author of "Vengeful Hank" and "Cliché and Wind Go Hitchhiking".(Sci-fi /Dark Humour/Absurd) *Completed!
