Chris and Denise spent four weeks in Italy for their honeymoon, the word 'amazing' couldn't even begin to describe the time they had there. They started their trip with six days in Milan where they stayed at Hotel Principe Di Savoia, a very luxurious and classical Italian hotel. Their plane landed at 1:25PM local time, but seeing as it was 4:26AM in Los Angeles- the jet lag quickly kicked in. It didn't affect Chris as much as it did Denise, but that was because he actually got some sleep on the plane. She had a terrible time, managing only an hour of sleep. She also threw up twice, courtesy of the baby in her belly. So as soon as they could check in, they did and she caught up on some much needed rest.

The couple did end up going out after she woke up. They had dinner at a lovely little place near the Navigli District then took a moonlit stroll, capturing memories by the Naviglio Grande Canal that they'd treasure for the rest of their lives. The days after, they traveled to all the tourist hotspots: Milan Cathedral, Sforza Castle, Brera, Teatro Alla Scala, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Planetario di Milano, Piazza Mercanti. Both Chris and Denise took lots of photos which they bombarded their friends and families with in the group chats they had with them.

After Milan, they traveled to Verona to see where Romeo and Juliet fell in-love. Verona was also the place where one of Denise's favorite Rom-Coms was filmed. 'Letters to Juliet' was a film she'd made Chris watch with her on numerous occasions. She even wrote a letter to Juliet, like every other girl who'd stopped by her wall. Her letter, however, was unlike every other girl's. She had everything with Chris, she didn't need advice. She simply wanted Juliet to know she understood; true love, soulmates- it did exist, and it was something worth dying for.

While Denise was writing her letter, Chris took a photo of her and tweeted it out with the caption: "my hopeless romantic." It quickly went viral, much like the few photos they'd shared of their wedding. It always came as a surprise to his fans when he posted photos because he wasn't typically known to share aspects of his personal life on social media. Other than a few photos and videos of Dodger, he kept everything tightly sealed away. But sometimes, he just couldn't help himself. And in that moment, he couldn't help himself. Denise looked so beautiful and peaceful doing what she loved best, he had to share it with the world.

Venice was their next stop: they experienced the gondolas, toured the Venetian masters of art, listened to well-played Vivaldi, ate traditional Venetian foods, and even had the best gelato in the city at Boutique Del Gelato- according to Timeout. They moved onto Florence after and indulged themselves in Renaissance Art. Denise thought it was breathtaking to be up close and personal with art pieces she'd only ever read about, or seen in pictures. They saw Michelangelo's 'David' which wasn't originally on Denise's bucket list, but was checked off anyway. She wondered if that meant she was now of the women in T.S Elliot's 'The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock', talking of Michelangelo. Chris laughed at her when she asked him that, calling her an "English nerd."

They stopped at Pisa next and checked out the Leaning Tower; and to also have pizza in Pisa. They then visited The Knight's Square where Geoffrey Chaucer's 'A Knight's Tale' came to Denise's mind. She kept that comment to herself so Chris wouldn't tease her again, but he already knew what was on her mind. The couple also stopped by Naples and Pompeii, just so Denise could see Mount Vesuvius; the volcano that killed more than 16,000 people in 79AD. She did a History report on it when she was in high school, and immediately after, she knew it was a place she had to see at least once in her lifetime. Her heart ached when she visited the ruins in Pompeii, the grief could be felt even 1,931 years later.

Rome was the last stop in their trip as it was where they wanted their honeymoon to end. They stayed at the Rome Cavalieri, Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resort; the priciest lodging location of their entire trip. They'd tried to keep things as simple as possible with their hotels, knowing it was just a place to sleep they'd opted for the most reasonably priced rooms. Rome was the one place they indulged themselves because it was where they were staying the longest, and where they planned to actually enjoy the hotel itself. Despite that, Denise still found it unnecessary when Chris made her reserve the suite. But it was an experience she was incredibly grateful for. With the planetarium suite, they had their own private roof garden with a jacuzzi overlooking St. Peter's Basilica. Denise couldn't use the jacuzzi or drink Moscato because she was pregnant, but she had a nice time nursing an iced tea with her feet in the warm water.

While in Rome, they visited the Colosseum, Pantheon, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, and of course, The Spanish Steps. It came as no surprise when Sebastian and Luca received a disgustingly sweet kiss picture from there. They sent a mock one back from Denver, where they were because Sebastian had a friend he needed to visit. They ended up staying an extra week so they could have a little getaway themselves, returning to Los Angeles the same time as Chris and Denise were. Their first weekend back, they drove up to the Evans' for dinner to catch up. They were also lending a helping hand so the couple's wedding gifts and 'thank you' cards were sorted before the holidays rolled around. Chris and Denise were eager to see them, especially after they texted they had something important to disclose.

"Hello, hello," Denise heard Sebastian and Luca's voices come through the front door and immediately joined Dodger in sprinting out from the kitchen to meet them. "Oh my God," Luca laughed when Denise threw her arms around her, and Sebastian did too when Dodger pounced on him. "Geez, Louise." Luca chuckled and hugged Denise back. "Slow your roll, Jack's probably in there throwing up."

"He can consider it a small punishment," she smoothed her hand over her belly, which was still fairly unnoticeable at seventeen weeks. "Do you know how much I threw up while in Italy because of him? A lot," she told them as she shared a hug with Sebastian. "I don't know how some pregnant women go through their entire pregnancy without nausea, but I really hope you're one of them when your time comes, Lu."

"Yeah," Luca suppressed her smile, "me too."

"Chris is out back," Denise continued as she started making her way back out to the backyard where Dodger had already sprinted to upon hearing Chris' name. "We're having a barbecue 'cause I'm craving steak. We also got the two of you a few gifts from Italy, so I hope you brought us something back from Denver too."

Sebastian took Luca's hand as they followed behind Denise, unable to hide their smiles. They had incredible news they couldn't wait to share with Chris and Denise, and while it had a lot to do with them bringing something back from Denver- this gift wasn't something that was going to be here for another seven months.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the future Mr. and Mrs. Sebastian Stan," Chris held his beer up, teasingly toasting them. "Here's to a wedding soon, hey?" They chuckled and walked over to exchange hugs while Denise sat down at the table. "Can I grab the two of you something to drink? Seb, a beer?" Chris asked and Sebastian nodded; he then turned to Luca. "Do you want a beer, or do you want some of Denise's Moscato? I think we've got a bottle chilling in the fridge that we'd appreciate if you finish it off tonight."

"It would be appreciated, yes," Denise chuckled. "It's sitting in there being very temptable."

"No, I'm not allowed to drink." Luca informed with a suggestive smile that neither Chris nor Denise registered. She'd told Sebastian in the drive on their way over that she would need to spell it out for them, but he'd disagreed. She couldn't help her smug smile as she looked over at him. Clearly he'd overestimated their ability to read between the lines.

"Why, are you the designated driver?" Denise asked and Sebastian snickered. "What?" She turned to him and he burst into laughter, which confused her even more. "What's so fun-" Her jaw dropped when she figured out what Luca had meant with her sentence. "No!" She jumped to her feet with a gasp. "No," a grin stretched across her face. "No no no." It was at that point that Chris figured it out too and turned to Sebastian with a joyous grin. "You're pregnant?!" She asked and the couple nodded in response. "OH MY GOD!" She quickly ran over to give Luca another tight hug. "YOU'RE PREGNANT!"

"Daddy Sea Bass," Chris hugged Sebastian. "Mackie said that when you told him, right?"

"You and Denise are actually the first people we've told, not even our parents know yet." Sebastian answered and Chris smiled, touched by the incredible honor. "We actually um- we just found out ourselves in Denver. A couple weeks before your wedding, we had a feeling she was but we didn't want to take the attention away from the two of you."

"That is so sweet," Denise chuckled, squeezing Luca's elbow as she pulled away. "I'm sorry, but I have to ask 'cause I feel like the two of you would've learnt from our mistake. Was this planned?" She asked and felt genuinely surprised when Luca nodded. "Really? I didn't think you wanted to start trying until you were twenty-six, we always said that was the golden age."

"We did, but we also always said we wanted our kids to grow up together." Luca reminded her and she felt her eyes well with tears. "We figured now was as good a time as any. We're getting married soon and our best friends are carrying their first child. This way we get to experience everything together."

"Stop it, you're going to make me cry," Denise playfully slapped her arm. "How far along are you?"

"Seven weeks," Luca answered. "So Jack will be a little older than our peanut." Sebastian smiled when she said that because he'd suggested the nickname; the man loved his peanut butter. "But," she placed a hand over her belly and Denise felt herself smoothing her hand over her own belly, "I think they're going to get along just fine."

"Yeah," Denise nodded in agreement, looking over at Chris and Sebastian with a wide grin. She couldn't believe Sebastian and Luca were going to become parents too. All their life, she and Luca had talked about raising their children together. It was hard to believe it was actually happening, she couldn't be happier; her son had found himself a best friend. "I think so too."
