《Stranded (MCU Castx Reader)》S1 Episode thifteen- Hiding the Truth

(Y/n pov)
After escaping Chris and his gang of smothering adults, I went out in search for Tom. I wanted to tell him I was sorry, and that he didn't have to blame himself for what happened.
But when I saw him, I noticed he wasn't alone. Elizabeth was there to. Just as I was about to walk over, She said something. "I'll show you how much it meant to me" Then pulled the man closer, there lips pressing hard against one another.
I stood there speechless, I don't why it bothered me, but it did. Something about them to keeping this a secret had to mean there was more to the story. However, I stepped back, turning away and running off.
"Did you find him?" Chris Pratt asked, as I returned to the camp. I shook my head. "Its probably just the stress" I explained, trying hard not to make it obvious I was lying. And thank god for he fell for it.
"Come sit with me, you need the rest" he laughed, patting the rock beside him. I followed his instructions and took a seat. "Can I ask you something y/n" Chadwick mumbled. He was perched not far away by the water.
"Yes?" I said, a little confused. "What do you remember from the crash?" I sat up, trying hard to think. Both him and chris waited patiently for my answer. "I don't really remember anything" I lied.
Since arriving on the island, all i had done was lie. "Well I do" Chadwick mumbled. "You do?" Chris exclaimed. "Infact I remember why everyone was on the plane, all except you two" He pointed to Pratt and me.
I wanted to die in inside, I knew I would have to come up with a story soon, or they'd start getting suspicious. "The producers of marvel called us in, something about the possibility of making a new series"
"What kind of series?" I asked, a little curious. "Each episode would show one mission that the Avengers completed in the past. That way our fans would get to see more of the characters that died in end game and infinity war" he explained.

I though that idea sounded pretty awesome, so much that I would pay it see it. "Are you into acting?" Tom asked me. I shrugged, not really knowing how to answer that one.
I guess I'm good at pretending to be someone im not, wich is the exact reason I can't tell him that. "Well I loved it as a kid, couldn't get enough of the stage, the lights and the wild crowd" He went on.
I laughed as he drifted off Into a world of fantasy. Then winced slightly as I felt a sharp pain in my arm. "Are you ok, where does it hurt?" Chadwick said, moving closer.
"I dislocated it" they stared at me confused. "How did you get it back in?" Pratt questioned. "I asked paddy to pull and push to the left when I got to three, simple stuff really"
"So, your a medical nerd?" Chris joked. I giggled, nudging him aside. "Yeah, I guess I am, and there's more information than how to fix an arm up there" I said, pointing to my head.

(No ones pov- when Y/n was 11 years old)
Y/n rushed down the stairs crying. She/he had a huge deep cut right down her/his left knee. "Uncle Benjamin! Uncle Benjamin!" She/he yelled, blood dripping out onto the marble floors.
However, the man was busy watching TV with his daughter Rebecca to pay any attention to his niece. "I hurt myself, I dont know what to do!" She said, half wincing half yelling from the pain.
"How did you hurt it?" The uncle asked, his eyes still on the screen. "I tripped outside" she explained. He laughed. "Shouldn't have been so careless then" Ben mumbled. Y/n just stood there shocked, and angry.
"You bitch!" She/he said, a little too loud. He looked round, switching the film of. "What did you just say to me?" He asked, in a deep intimidating tone. The worried child looked to her cousin for help.
"I asked you a question you little slut! Fucking answer me!" He yelled, making the poor child flinch and step backwards. "I....I..I" she stuttered. Benjamin decided to mocked her/him in reply.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean it" y/n begged. But it was too late, because soon enough, his hand collided with her/his face. The noise of the SLAP echoed around the room, followed by her screams.
"She did it becasue of you, you know that right. It's all your fault she's dead" He whispered, grabbing her/him by the hair. Y/n just stood there in silence, still feeling the tingling across her cheek.
"You and your good for nothing father, if I could find a way to tourcher him, and his friends, I would" "ITS NOT TRUE, ITS NOT MY FAULT!" y/n yelled, the tears releasing much more frequently now.

(Chadwick pov)
I began to noticed that y/n wasn't really acting like herself/himself, for some reason, that bothered me. "Y/n, would you like to go search for food with me?" I asked.
To my surprise, she/he nodded, standing up and brushing the dirt off her/his shorts. I then led the way, through the trees and into the forest. "So, what's on your mind y/n?" I asked.
She/he shrugged, clearly not wanting to open up. "Well, in my mind, I'm thinking about downing a huge glass of vodka, but of course, you've already done that haven't you" I joked. She/he laughed, hitting me on the arm In a playful way.
"Do you think we will ever get of this island? She/he asked me. "Want the truth?" I exclaimed. Surprisingly, she/he shook her/his head. "No, actually" I laughed. "In that case, I think a big ship will come ashore tomorow morning, rescuing us and taking us home"
"That sounds nice, don't forget to add
A hot tub, maybe even a few flamingos" y/n added. "Flamingos?"
I questioned, raising an eyebrow. "I've always wanted to see a flamingo"
I laughed once more. "What?" She/he asked, sounding a little offended.
"Nothing, it's just, you've got a big imagination that's all" I replied. "And that's a bad thing becasue?"
"I never said it was a bad thing, you just remind me of someone" she/he slowed down, moving a large branch out the way of our path. "Remind you of who" I sighed, smiling. "Doesn't matter"
"No, Chadwick tell me!" She/he begged, staring me dead in the eyes.
"Fine, chris" I admitted, knowing I weren't gonne win that fight. "Chris Pratt?" She/he questioned. I nodded..
"Yes, sorry, forgot there was three different ones"
"Pratts the best one, If it's right to have favourites" y/n spat out, making me chuff. "You really think so huh?"
The child shook her head up and down. "Totally, he understands me, and hes just like me. Did you know we both have anger issues!"
"I did, becasue both of you aren't exactly good at keeping it on the down low, if you've noticed?" I watched as she/he looked to the floor embarrassed.
"Yeah, sorry about that. I can be a little crazy sometimes" I rolled my eyes. "A little, your like a machine, with no off button" then all of a sudden, she/he went completely quiet.
"What is it, what wrong?" I stuttered, worried out of my mind. "Nothing, it's just, my mother used to say that. Those exact words" I had never heard much about her mother before.
"What was she like?" I asked, not wanting to be to be to pushy" "Pardon?" She said, clearly still day dreaming. "Your mother, what was she like?"
"Oh, well. I don't really remember that much about her. She died when I was young" my heart went out of the girl/boy. Losing both her/his parents must he hard.
"Im so sorry" I whispered, turning into the soft humble person I am. "Its ok, its not your fault"

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)
