"Ahh, that was so good!" You chirped happily, slamming down the small pint of pure vodka, wiping your lips with your tongue delightfully. The booze made your throat slightly sting as you swallowed the remnants of alcohol in the back of your throat.
"You always say that." The bartender, Shinsou, said with a look of amusement on his face. The bar was absolutely empty; which made sense considering it was 5am. You were... a bit of a drunkard, to put it lightly.
There was nothing to be heard in the quaint, small pub but the jazz music blasting in the back of the shop. It was rather enjoyable for there to be nobody for you. It was comforting.
"You don't mind though, do you~?" You asked, wiggling your eyebrows. He snorted at your tipsy behavior, simply nodding as he smoothed his pastel-purple hair back.
"How blessed am I to meet a bartender who won't rat me out to the bounty hunters. What an angel you are..." You muttered, more to yourself then him, sighing as you stood up. Shinsou reddened at the words, rubbing the nape of his neck in embarrassment.
The sun was beginning to shine through the stained glass-windows in the small pub, notifying you that it was time to leave. For a short moment, you leaned on your long wooden staff, sighing before standing up straight.
"Revitalization: Up." The words came out in a quiet slur as you tapped your staff against the wooden floor, hoping the spell would help with your agility and inebriation. A shining light began to emit from the staff, surrounding you like a warm blanket. Shinsou watched in slight jealousy, almost wishing that he had such unique powers; until he remembered how often you had to run from bounty hunters daily. The jealousy had disappeared quickly.
The rays of light transferred into your limbs and body. Your back straightened immediately, a wave of refreshing strength now flowing across your body.
"I'll be heading off now, Shinsou-kun! Take care." You hummed with a tiny smile and a thumbs-up. Shinsou nodded, entertained by the immediate shift in behavior.
"Try not to die!" He yelled after you in a sarcastic manner, eyes twinkling with admiration for the mage. She giggled, agreeing with him before heading off on her hike to the next town for the day.
"I'm so tired of doing this..." The ash-blonde boy complained, lying down on the neck of his dragon. His vibrant cape flew rather violently behind him due to the strong winds that early morning, making his figure rather noticeable in the sky. However though, his dragon, Kirishima, was red, so it wouldn't matter.
His mother had sent him on the quest to find the unknown mage across the land, wanting him to actually "help out" for once, which he found to be annoyingly untrue. As the heir to the throne of the Aldorrian Kingdom, the young man was always out doing things just to "prove" that he was worthy consistently. It was bothersome; he couldn't seem to find anything purposeful in his life anymore. There was nothing to want to actually do for him.

"I wish the wanted posters actually showed the mage's face." He glanced up towards the sky in boredom, imagining what this mage would look like. A guy? A girl? It wouldn't matter to him anyways; he would be forced into an arranged marriage once he became king. Plus... you can't date who you're hunting, obviously.
The dragon begins to slow down, slightly dipping towards the ground. Jack sat up, slightly startled. "Whats wrong? Tired?" The beast nodded his head, eyes narrowing towards the ground. He nodded, the dragon descending towards the ground rapidly before gently landing. Even though the reptile tried its best to land gracefully, his gargantuan body made a very loud, ear-piercing thump against the ground that vibrated the entire field; it could've been heard for miles, likely.
"Fuck, too loud."Jack cursed, hopping off the dragon quickly. The scales of the amphibian felt cold and icy against his back as he slid onto the ground, ducking immediately. His eyes darted across the field in a paranoid manner as he vehemently searched for any possible enemy. The dragon closed its eyes, falling asleep rather quickly.
To his surprise, he heard a cry of anguish in the far distance out of the blue. The voice curtled, as though they were drowning. It made his spine shiver slightly. His keen ears told him that it was a young man's scream.
He cursed quietly, which was a rather bad habit of his, and turned towards Kirishima. "Lumos," Bakugo muttered, his words being drowned out in the man's ear-piercing yells for help. In an instant, Kirishima disappeared completely, hid out of anyone's eyesight.
The rather frightened boy took a deep breath, trying to calm himself, before beginning to army-crawl towards the howling. The voice slowly strained, before stopping completely. He heard a crunch, making him flinch.
What the fuck is going on?
You lifted your boot from the bounty hunter's neck, feeling slightly pitiful for a person for once. Usually, you'd never kill someone in such a brute way, but his yells definitely drew too much attention to you, thus the brutal execution. A grimace was on your face as you looked down, noticing that your boot had left an imprint on his face and neck, slightly muddy.
"I'd say I'm sorry, but you're the one who decided to hunt me..." You bit your lip, casting a quick spell between breaths to disappear any trace of the bounty hunter, including his corpse.
"Now, the more important issue..."
"Whoever's watching me, come out right now or I'll blow up this entire forest before you even know what happened." Your voice was stern and rather impatient. Bakugo watched with wide eyes as a fireball grew larger and large from the top of your staff, its fiery flames expanding slowly. He stumbled, stepping out of the bush with both hands up.
"How the hell did you know where I was?"
"None of your business, hun." You winked, slightly shaking your staff. The fireball dissipated instantaneously. He blinked, rather amazed by your flexible control of your staff. After seeing you make the corpse as well as the blood evaporate, he knew you were not just an ordinary person.
"Turn around, and walk back to wherever you came from. Now. My threat still stands." You threatened him, jabbing him in the chest with the blunt end of your staff.

He took the opportunity to attack, grabbing the staff and pulling it towards him, also taking you with it. You were rather surprised that the bounty hunter was so bold, especially after seeing your powers. Bakugo let go of the staff, his fist curling into a fist; and you were running straight into it as he pulled your left arm harshly.
Right before the fist connected to your nose, you sighed and muttered, "Reinforce," and a force-field was surrounding your skull. His fist rammed into it, and...
It broke the shield.
His fist hit the bridge of your nose so harshly that you could've sworn you'd heard a crack, blood sputtering out of your nostrils. The fact that he'd broken your shield was incredible to you!
"It's been a while since someone managed to get a hit on me. Nice job!" You clapped, wiping the blood off your face with a crazy-looking grin. He was off-putted by the grin, wiping your blood off his fist.
"Who the hell are you?"
"You'll find out if you win, angel." And with that, your figure became only an after-image. He blinked rapidly, wondering if his eyes were playing tricks on him as he put his fists in front of his face defensively. For some reason, even though he got a hit on you, he still felt incredibly cornered.
"Peek-a-boo!" You tapped his shoulder. He turned around, fist blazing into your sides as he rotated himself. Or so he thought. You vanished from his sight in an instant again.
He was simply bewildered. "Vixen," he yelled, calling the Snake Spirit to his side. A green, slimy snake slithered across his shoulders. It's cool skin against him comforted him; the snake would spit venom at anything that appeared within a certain proximity of him.
"What a cute pet!" You purred. He couldn't identify where your silky, smooth voice was coming from. A beaming grin found its way onto his face.
"This is fun, if I do say myself!" He replied to her, fists never faltering as he tried to find you. A small, earnest giggle of joy echoed through the forest. For a moment, he was lost in the gorgeous sound, founding himself indulging in how nice your laugh sounded. Bakugo wanted to hear it again.
In that moment that he had faltered, you took the opening.
"It won't be fun for long, sadly." You said in a whisper, and with that an arrow flew directly towards his torso. He reacted too slowly, and the arrow pierced his body. Not only that, but the snake spit its poison directly at the arrowhead. The arrow turned into a poison-arrow. His blood cascaded, streaming down his leg.
His knees buckled, and he hit the floor, on all on fours. Everything spun, the toxins making their way through his veins now. The rustling of grass by his face told him that you stood before him. "Fuck, is that venom potent enough to kill? He was cute too..." You sighed, making the prince slightly redden before passing out.
Bakugo's awakening was a rather rude one. The prince opened his eyes to see you... but upside down. Wait... I think I'm the one that's... fuck.
"Well, you definitely didn't win, but I'll tell you who I am anyways." She said, brushing her hair out of her face with a tiny smile. He struggled, looking up... only to see that the rope was nylon; the hardest material to get out of.
"Well, who are you then, princess?" He stopped struggling, looking back at the girl again. You felt your heart slightly quicken its pace, cheeks blushing a bit.
"Hey now, I'm the only one who can use nicknames in this relationship!" You complained, pouting and crossing your arms. The boy laughed and rolled his eyes, despite the situation at hand.
"You're the one who called me cute!" He snickered, arching an eyebrow. You perked up in embarrassment, cheeks fully red; you didn't think he heard that.
"Sh-Shut up!" You exhaled forcefully. He smiled, narrowing his eyes at you with amusement. As he watched you try to calm yourself down, he felt the end of the rope begin to prod his torso, where he'd been stabbed. A small grunt of pain escaped.
You forget your flustered feelings rather quickly, turning over curiously at his small outburst. "The end of the rope," He explained, nudging towards the area of discomfort. You noticed where it was prodding him, and gasped quietly, immediately pulling that piece of rope away from his ribs.
"You're not as mean as you make yourself seem, you know?" He inquired, tilting his head at her. She exhaled, kneeling down near his face.
"I know... I can't afford to be nice. Having friends only hurts me in the end." You muttered, running your fingers absent-mindlessly across his cheekbones. Bakugo relished the feeling, closing his eyes at your warmth. You smiled at how he acted like a cat, and then stood up once more.
"Can we be... friends?" He said, slightly embarrassed by how the mage had turned him into a shy person. Normally, the blunt prince was rather mean.
A tiny snort escaped your lips. He scowled.
"I wish. I really do. But you were hunting me only ten minutes ago, babe. How can I trust you after that?" You said, slightly frowning. He faltered, realizing you had a point.
"I'll let you down though. I don't need to be so mean, since it's clear that you know I'm not a bitch like everybody else in the Kingdom thinks I am." You said more to yourself then him, cutting through the rope with a knife.
After landing on the ground, he oriented himself, before standing once more. "I want to accompany you. Just for a little while?" He asked, crossing his arms and grimacing.
"Did I not tell you who I am?" You were astonished at his perseverance to join you in his travels. It was almost sweet. He shook his head.
"I'm that one mage everyone's afraid of." You stuck your tongue out, before strapping on your bag and beginning to stride away.
Bakugo face-palmed so loudly it startled you.
"Y-Youre the fucking mage?!" He fumed. She nodded, waving a final-goodbye.
"Try again next time. I'll be waiting, cutie~!"
