"What the..." You said quietly, backing away from Kirishima slightly as he slightly trandformed in the dark alleyway, his features shifting. He grew shorter, his hair reverting from red to its natural raven-color. His hair lost its structure, falling across his face as the boy seemed to be frozen for a moment, his brain pausing.
"You like it~? My de-aging quirk is quite cool, if I say so myself~!" The girl chirped, cackling as she watched Kirishima look around, his demeanor unusual and different from normal.
You sighed, feeling stupid for letting such a weak villain manage to use her quirk on Kirishima. All you two were doing was regular patrol work when the villain popped out from the dumpster in a hobble, blasting an odd chrome-beam at Kirishima.
"This better be temporary..." You grumbled, closing your eyes as you rubbed your temples. She tilted her head as her eyebrows furrowed; why were you so relaxed? She thought.
You clapped, and then disappeared. She flinched, frozen for a moment in disbelief as she stared at where you'd been just a few seconds ago. Abruptly, she felt a foot against her neck hit her rather harshly, and she tumbled to the ground in an instant.
A sigh escaped your lips as you looked down at her, thankful for how useful your ability was.
"Transportation is a blessing..." You murmured, dusting off your hero costume before looking up at Kirishima to observe him. Due to how dark it was, you couldn't really see his features clearly, however it was noticeable that he was shaking slightly.

You blinked a few times at the boy, perplexed.
He caught your stare, and his expression shifted to one of fear and confusion.
"W-Who are you!? Where am I?" He blurted out, his feet sliding against the concrete as he backed up, feeling threatened by seeing you knock out the villain just earlier. You groaned, cursing the stupid villain on the floor as you watched him with tired eyes.
"God damn it."
"So, from the examination we've learned that he's lost all memory from his older ages. Currently, he's only 13 years old. This is only going to last a day, thank the lord..." Aizawa muttered the last part through his scarf, itching his beard as he yawned.
Thank God I don't have to deal with this shit. He thought, rather bluntly.
"Mhm... so will he just be in the dorms as normal?" You asked as Kirishima stood beside Aizawa, feeling out of place as his eyes trailed back and forth from Aizawa to you. He found himself staring, wondering why you were so concerned for him.
"Yeah, but do you think you could keep a close eye on him for me? There may be a chance of this lasting longer then it should, so I just want to be sure." Aizawa explained, patting Kirishima on the back rather roughly. Kirishima stumbled forward, before catching himself before you.
"Err... I'm Kirishima. A-And you are...?" He said quietly, averting his gaze. You were truly bewildered by his odd demeanor; usually he was a confident and strong boy that you so greatly admired.
"I'm (Y/N). We used to be friends." You said with an odd chuckle, feeling weird about the words that'd just come out of your mouth.
Aizawa shooed the two of you out of his office, leaving you two to walk back to the dorms.

It was quiet for a minute. You found yourself staring at Kirishima's raven-hair for a while, fascinated by the fact that it was down instead of how it usually was.
Eventually, he made himself stop looking at his shoes out of nervousness and decided to look at you instead, only to notice your blaring glare. He was startled by it.
"A-Ah! Sorry, it's just that the older Kirishima looks so different from you." You mumbled, patting his head with a tiny smile. He squirmed at your touch slightly, pondering how he'd looked in the future (well, not really; the present).
"So, how developed is your quirk?" You inquired, tilting your head towards him with a curious expression. He felt himself grimace as his demeanor slightly deteriorated.
"Well, as of now it's not very good. I'm not strong, nor manly. And neither is my quirk, to be fair... I'm only average." He said with a little sad chuckle as he scratched the back of his head, smiling apologetically.
You were quite stunned.
"Not strong?"
He slightly hesitated, startled by the fact that you were taken aback by his response.
"Y-Yes...? It is." He stated rather bluntly. You slapped your forehead, muttering curses for a moment before looking up again.
You stopped in your path, making him halt as well. He felt rather anxious as you stood and stared with your eyebrows furrowed, glaring at him.
"Don't... say that. You're the most badass hero I know, Kirishima. You may be a bit younger now, but that doesn't change a single thing at all. You're still a strong, capable, . Start believing that." You almost rambled, pulling him into a bear-hug. He was astonished at your words, returning the hug feebly.
You made your grip a little tighter, leaning down besides his ear.
"You may think you're average, but you're not. At least, in my eyes, you're not." You whispered, smiling cheekily as you let go of him, patting his shoulder.
"Maybe... maybe you're right."

The White Rabbit: Book 2
In the Urillian Empire, the Empress Xandra rules three-quarters of the planet Xren from her home in the capital of the Earth Continent. Both the fire and water peoples have fallen under her might after a series of wars stretching back three centuries. Earth elves, under Xandra's rule, have spread throughout the planet and established colonies, and are, by all accounts, enjoying what seems to be a prosperous and happy existence. But not everyone in Uril is happy. The holy books speak of elves as the Chosen People of Thesis, tasked with guiding and protecting the lower races. For some people, this scripture has been interpreted to designate their life as one on the lowest rungs of society. Humans have been reduced to a slave class, and serve their elven masters under Xandra's rule, kept at bay by the constant fear of the dreaded Emerald Knight, and their own perceived weakness. Humans do not lead long lives, nor do they possess the wisdom, power, or magical acumen of their elven masters. But there is hope. A group of people have banded together to fight against Xandra, her Knight, and her empire. They call themselves the "Knights of Order" united under the principle idea that Xandra's reign has brought chaos unto Xren, and they wish to restore order. These Knights are led by a man named Xaxac Brigaddon, spoken of as a legend. They say that when the moons are full, some humans transform into powerful beasts. They say that Xaxac is the most powerful warrior on Xren, that in his youth he was enslaved and forced to fight other humans to the death in a bloodsport called "cage fighting", that he could not be touched and held the world championship title for three years running until he faked his own death and escaped his master to join the resistance. They say that he has friends in high places- noblemen, pirates, and the devil himself. They say that if you can find him, he can ferry you to freedom in places where the Earth Elves fear to tread. They say that he is immune to magical attack, and his eyes shine like the silver moon. They say that he is descended from Quizlivian Brigaddon, one of the humans who helped the demon Magnus escape a god. They say that if you want to walk the Path of Order, you should follow the White Rabbit.Come and watch the transformation from human boy to Knight of Order: The life and times of Xaxac OfAgalon OfLangil Brigaddon. Content Warning: This work is based on the real experiences of human trafficing survivors. Xaxac's origins are based on true events, and they are presented realisitcally; this includes but is not limited to: isolation, gaslighting, emotional and sexual abuse, and grooming tactics. This work is meant to hold a mirror up to society; it is based on the real of experiences of people who have experienced slavery and/or abuse. It is an adult work and probably should not be read by anyone under the age of 18. If you are a survivor of human trafficing and/or abuse, your feedback is welcome, but please do not read this if you think it may trigger your trauma. I did not write this with the intention of harming anyone, but rather to provide accurate representation for a group that does not normally get it in the hopes of changing the zeitgeist. I would like to see a world where more people understand what these experiences are like, so that real survivors do not have to deal with microagressions from an ignorant public. Reader discretion is advised. This book does not display these elements as heavily as book 1.
