《A MHA Sleepover》Movie Night (Chapter 10)

wElLlLl, another update! I'm sorry for the huge break, my lazy ass wasn't in the mood and I had writer's block. Thank you guys so much for 900+ reads! It means a damn lot to me, and I couldn't have done it without you guys. Ok, I should stop being sappy and start working on this chapter! Let's get into it!
Momo POV
I yawned and turned to the girl sitting beside me. Kyoka Jirou, Hero Name: Earphone Jack. So.. looks like it's Kyoka, huh? Oh well. I let a soft smile graze my face as I turned back to the group. We had decided on watching movies now, but the movie in question? That was still yet to be selected. There was currently a heated argument going on about it, actually.
Deku: WE'RE WATCHING SPIDERMAN: FAR FROM HOME!
Bakugou: SHUT UP SHITTY NERD! WE'RE WATCHING IT!
Mina: Bakugou, you are LITERALLY one rank HIGHER than Midoriya-
Bakugou: SHUT IT RACCOON EYES-
Uraraka: NO! I WANNA WATCH YOUR NAME!
Denki: Wait, Uraraka, you like anime?
Uraraka: OF COURSE I DO-
Todoroki: I thought we could maybe watch Frozen or something...
Everyone paused and slowly turned to face Todoroki.
Todoroki: What? It's relatable...
The sound of laughter filled the room. I looked towards the direction of the sound, on to see Kyoka bending over in laughter. I started giggling too, and soon enough everyone was dying of laughter. In the end we went with A Silent Voice because why not? It's extremely popular and has a definite place on every anime lover's watch list. Kaminari put the DVD in the slot and clicked on "play". Everyone got blankets and positioned themselves comfortably on the couch. I just looked at the girl next to me and nudged her lightly.
Momo: Hey, do you want a blanket? It's kind of cold right now, you know?
Kyoka looked up at me, and quickly nodded, her face a little red. Pulling the blanket over the two of us, I chuckled. God, why was she so cute? I turned my attention to the movie.
~le time skip brought to you by my obsession with anime~
I silently wiped droplets of water off my face. Taking a look around, I could see everyone was moved by the movie, and I'm pretty sure everyone was in tears as well. Even Tokoyami, the one person I thought would be unaffected by the movie, shed a tear or two. I heard light sniffling beside me, and turned around, to see Kyoka in tears. I blinked a few times, before leaning towards her side and wiping the tears with my thumb.

Kaminari: God, get a room you lovebirds! Or at least head to one of yours-
My eyes widened as I processed what Kaminari said and meant. I then moved my eyes to Kyoka, who's face was red. Realising the position we were in, I jerked back with a tomato face, and started yelling at him. Way to ruin the mood... I heard some silent giggles. Turning to Kyoka, I grinned. Maybe tonight was going to be a lot more fun than I thought...
Denki POV
I yawned. After A Silent Voice, we decided to play My Neighbour Totoro, because it was a classic and we needed to up the mood a bit. Almost everyone were asleep, the only ones awake were me, Shinsou, Yaoyorozu, and Jirou. Yaoyorozu was looking at Jirou with an odd expression, and I grinned. I nudged Shinsou, and whispered into his ear.
Kaminari: Yo, I think we should leave... I can practically SMELL the sexual tension radiating off those two.
Shinsou looked at me weirdly, and then snickered.
Shinsou: Yeah, I think it would be better to leave... Want to head out for a walk?
Kaminari: A walk? I guess so. Sure, yea, let's go!
The two of us scrambled out of our seats and carefully walked over the sleeping bodies of our classmates as we waved the two girls goodbye, signalling that we were leaving for a stroll. I grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the room. We walked through the corridors, fingers intertwined, as we just looked around the hallway. Or, well, he looked at the hallway. I just stared at his face. Did I ever notice how hot his-
Shinsou: Kaminari? Do you want to go out for some fresh air? We could even stargaze if you like.
I blinked a few times. Shinsou hadn't taken his gaze of the walls, and thank god he didn't, for if he had he would have noticed the blush that dusted my cheeks. I just nodded, and then remembering he wasn't looking at me, muttered a "yes". I felt a tug on my wrist, and he smiled at me, pulling me.
Shinsou: Come on Kaminari, let's go!
I grinned and ran outside, dragging him behind me. I could hear a few sounds of laughter behind me, before I paused to let out a snort. Laughing, we both ran to the door, pushing it open. We start skipping, before I can feel a hand on my eyes.
Kaminari: Shin- what are you trying to do?

I tried to stifle my laughter.
Shinsou: What's with the nick- never mind, just wait and see.
We then proceeded to walk to where Shinsou wanted to take me, well technically he guided me to walk but let's ignore that fact. The stroll was filled with conversation about Haikyuu, and about how much I ship people, both fictional and real.
Shinsou: I think you ship too much Kami.
Kaminari: i Do NoT- Wait, did you call me Kami?
Shinsou: I mean, you called me Shin, so I guess it's fair?
Kaminari: I mean yeah...
I smiled.
Kaminari: I kind of like the nickname to be honest.
Shinsou tightened his grip on my hand.
Shinsou: It probably would be awkward if you didn't though.
Shinsou: So will the nicknames be a regular occurence?
I blushed.
Kaminari: I sure hope so.
And with that, we continued walking in the moonlight.

Shinsou POV
I brought my feet to a stop.
Shinsou: We're here.
I removed my palm, keeping my hands in my pockets, slowly tilting my head upwards to look at the stars.
Kaminari: I- It's- Wow....
I took a deep breath, and turned to the boy.
Shinsou: I- I didn't bring you here just to show you this place...
Kaminari turned to me, tilting his head in confusion.
Shinsou: I MEAN, I DID WANT TO SHOW YOU THE PLACE-
I sighed.
Shinsou: But that's not the reason.
You can do this Shinsou!
Shinsou: Kaminari... I-
Shinsou: I like you. A lot.
Kaminari chuckled.
Kaminari: Me too silly.
Shinsou: No, like I mean romantically.
There was an air of silence. I closed my eyes, covering my face in my palms, expecting the worst. I just earned another chuckle from the boy I was ridiculously in love with.
Kaminari: Do I really have to say it? Like you're actually gonna make me do it?
Shinsou: What do you mea-
Kaminari: I'm in love with you dumbass.
He pried my hands off my face, cupping my cheeks with his own. He started to lean in closer, but paused halfway. I could feel the heat radiating off my cheeks.
Kaminari: May I?
I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck.
Shinsou: Go ahead.
As he connected our lips, I felt as if the world had stopped, just for the two of us. For our moment. It felt as if only the two of us existed, my entire life leading up to this. I could feel an indescribable happiness in the pit of my stomach, and I smiled against his lips. It was as if fireworks were exploding behind us. No, really. I pulled away from him, and turned around.
Kaminari: What happened Shin?
I looked up at the sky. I let another smile spread across my face as I looked at the fireworks someone must have exploded. Wonderful timing, eh?
I turned to Kami, and seeing a pout on his lips, I chuckled.
Shinsou: What's wrong Kami?
Kaminari: dOn'T wHaT's WrOnG mE
Kaminari: I finally got to kiss my crush! And HE stops making out with ME for NO REASON!
I grinned, and cupped his cheeks once more.
Shinsou: You want me to kiss you again?
He blushed a bright red, but nodded.
Without any further ado, I connected our lips once more.
Jirou POV
My head was lying in Momo's lap as I quietly pondered over my thoughts. Kaminari and Shinsou had been gone for a while... Wonder what they were up to? Speaking of... Interesting activities, my thoughts shifted over to Momo. My eyes were closed, but I was too lazy to open them. I could feel her hands fiddling with my hair strands. God, I loved the girl. But she's in love with Todoroki. Or, well, used to be. I can tell from the way she acts that she doesn't like the dual haired boy like that anymore, but I do suspect that she has shifted her attention to someone else. I wonder... Who could it be that she likes? I heard a voice from above me.
Momo: Oh Kyoka...
I resisted the urge to answer her. I guess that I was curious to see what she said.
Momo: You know, I'm an idiot.
You're not...
Momo: I- I never realised my feelings. I think they were always there.
What..?
Momo: You know Kyoka...
Know what?
Momo: I- I'm stupidly in love with you.
My eyes flew open at that statement, and I sat up.
Kyoka: You- what?
My cheeks were red and I turned to face Momo. She was twiddling her fingers as she looked up at me.
Momo: There's no hiding it now.
She gave a slight chuckle as she twirled her hair around her finger.
Kyoka: What do you mean?
Momo: I meant what I said.
Her hand went to my face as she smiled softly.
Momo: The question is... Do you like me back?

The Dungeon of Evolution
The greatest mage and researcher in the universe, Ian Irwin, known to only his closest friends died at far too young an age. For their own goals and to give the mage another chance at life, the Gods and Goddesses reincarnated him into a dungeon. Most would shudder at the thought, in fact Ian did, but not for the same reasons. The plants, animals, fungi, and monsters that inhabited dungeons fascinated Ian in a way nothing besides his wife had. Ian had studied everything he could about dungeons and now he could be one. Traumatising Content: Besides the purpose of dungeons, the presenting of evil morals as a positive is not present in this novel. Evil morals themselves, however, are present. Combined with the gore tag, there will be imagery present that could be considered traumatising. The absence of the sexual content tag means there will be no scenes of that nature. I, the author, apologize to any previous readers that, due to my previous clarification, read the story with the belief that scenes of disturbing imagery would not be present.

Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.
