*Two Weeks Later*

Walking through Miami airport, I sighed lowly. It was now or never and I knew Mrs. Graham wasn't about to let me back out now. So now I was about face my biggest fear, but I thank god I wasn't alone. "Are you hungry Kaylee because its going to take some time trying to catch a taxi out here? This isn't anything like New York." Mrs. Graham asked me. I shook my head 'no' and she nodded her head. "Okay. Let's go get these bags then." She smiled. So we quickly walked over to baggage claim, but got stopped by this tall white man dressed in a smoke gray suit. "Hello, I'm Gerald Hughes and I wanted to know if you are the two young ladies that would be coming to the Walter residence." He smiled at us both. "Yes, that'll be us. Who might you be?" Mrs. Graham smiled as I grabbed both of our suit cases. "I'm the Walter's driver and was sent by Kyle and Leigh Walter to come take you back to the Walter's residence." He assured us. "Okay. We can go, we have our things." Mrs. Graham shrugged. "I'll take these for you two." He smiled taking the suitcases and began to walk towards the exit. "Why do I have their last name still?" I whispered to Mrs. Graham. "They made a rule that your last name could never be changed, trust me I tried to change it. I even went to court, but that's what the judge told me. Just relax okay?" She gave me a warm smile as she rubbed her hand over my hair. I had taken my weave out being that Jessica wanted me to check out her cousin that has a grand opening shop out here. At first I didn't want to do it, but she showed me a couple of hair styles that her cousin Alannah did before and need I say that I was impressed. So the night before she took out my weave and gave me a wash n set. "I'm fine." I lied. My stomach kept on flipping more and more as I took every step. And it felt like I could vomit any minute now that's why I didn't want anything to eat. "Okay honey." She smiled at me. Walking out of the airport, Gerald stopped in front of an all black 2016 Rolls Royce. He began to load our stuff in the back of the car and looked over at us. "I'll be right there." He assured us. "No its okay, we can open the doors for ourselves." Mrs. Graham quickly fanned him off and grabbed my hand dragging me to the car. Opening the door, I gasped loudly. This had to be the best car I ever rode in, they even had the lights at the top of the roof. And the leather felt so soft, I sunk into the seat and laid my head back. "I'm guessing they're rich, huh?" I spoke out loud with my eyes closed. "Yeah I guess so, they didn't mention any of this last night." Mrs. Graham smiled looking around the car still. I shrugged and rolled my eyes. Once Gerald got inside, he put on his seatbelt then played some classic jazz music and began to drive. Closing my eyes again, my phone buzzed twice. So I unlocked my phone and tapped into the text messages that were sent to me.

Legacy : Good morning Baby 💗 I hope everything goes well for you and call me if anything.

Roman : Kaylee I know this is probably one of the biggest problems that'll you would have to face and I'm so mad that I'm not there to be by your side like I always do. But you know you can call your best friend if anything goes on. I'll even like to hear some good news and Kai said good luck future and you better not be showing any skin lmfaooooooooo !!

I smiled and responded to them.

Me : Lol my superhero forever and always. But thanks Ro I really appreciate it and tell Kai thanks lol and I'm showing only my legs.

I giggled and locked my phone. I'm surprised Clementine wasn't constantly calling me with a thousand of questions like she did all morning until I face timed her letting her know that I was perfectly fine. "I should've ate." I mumbled rubbing my now growling stomach. But it was still fluttering which made it ten times worst. I can't wait to get this over with already.

Fixing my skirt as I stepped out of the car, I looked over my outfit making sure everything was in place. "Thank you Mr. Gerald." I gave him a small smile. "You're welcome." He nodded. Mrs. Graham thanked him as well and even tried to tip him, but he kindly turned her down. "I forgot to mention this, but you look fabulous Kay." Mrs. Graham smiled before kissing my cheek. "Thanks Mommy." I smiled as we walked up to the house that looked straight out of a music video. Mainly Future's Rich Sex video, I was highly convinced that their reason wouldn't be that they couldn't afford me. They even had a 'W' sculptured water fountain on both sides near their entrance. "You're welcome baby." She cooed. "Here you young ladies go, enjoy your stay at the Walter's residence." Gerald smiled giving us our suit cases. "Thank you." We both smiled at him then faced the door. I rung the door bell and stepped back some. "Who is it?" A lady with a very thick Spanish accent asked behind the door. I frowned, so Mrs. Graham spoke up. "Kaylee Walter and Nicki Graham." Hearing the locks untwist, I held my breath. So am I Spanish or what ? I thought to myself. But lowly sighed seeing that the lady at the door was in uniform. "Hello. I'm Veronica Acosta, I'm the Walter's maid. Mr. And Mrs. Walter said they were expecting you two today. Come in." She spoke making us smile. "That's Kaylee Walter's and I'm Nicki Graham." Mrs. Graham smiled softly shaking her hand. "Nice to meet the both of you." She smiled. I shook her hand right after and gave off a smile. "Serenity should be here any minute to give you a tour of the house, but that girl is probably just now waking up. But for right now you nena's could have a seat in the living room. Would you like anything to drink? Eat?" Ms. Veronica asked with a smile. They're filthy rich. First a driver, now a maid ? I wonder what's next. "No thank you." Mrs. Graham and I said in a unison then walked off to find the living room. If I was here for something else, I would be bragging about the house, but I wasn't really in the mood. Once we found the living room, we sat on their red velvet couches that matched their living room set. Unlocking my phone, I began to scroll through Instagram to ease my nerves. "Are you okay?" Mrs. Graham asked while softly rubbing my thigh. I nodded my head but kept my eyes on my phone. "Good and if you're not okay, just know mommy isn't going anywhere okay?" Mrs. Graham smiled. I nodded my head while smiling. Hearing more than two footsteps my heart began to race rapidly, I even had to count to ten so I could calm my nerves. Locking my phone, I looked up and my eyes began to water. "Hello everybody." This Asian lady smiled while this dark skin tall guy stood right next to her. And I immediately knew that they were my parents, that explains my features. I was their ying and yang when it came to sharing the same features. Mainly my mom because of her slanted eyes that I inherited. So I let out a loud cry that I've been trying to hold in since I stepped foot into their house. "Oh no don't cry!" She cooed rushing to my side. "Babe, help me!" She yelled at her husband. He made his way over to me and began to rub my back. "Just give her sometime." I heard Mrs. Graham said and before I knew it no one was longer touching me. "Just calm down okay Kaylee? Remember what mommy said, I'll be here right? No need to cry baby, these are your family too." Mrs. Graham cooed while holding me as she rubbed my hair. "But how could they do this to me?" I cried. "They have their reasons Love. Just let them explain." She cooed. Wiping my tears, I silently cried and stared at the couple, the lady was crying now while her husband hugged her. "Excuse me." I mumbled wiping my tears. "I'm so sorry!" The lady cried. I just stared at them while sniffling. "Do you see where you get your emotions from?" The guy sniffle himself. Mrs. Graham softly rubbed my hand and I nodded my head. "All I want to know is why? Especially why now?" I sniffle again. They both sighed heavily as the lady got herself together. "You guys are in the best shape, you look so young and pretty, as you can see your money is longer than ever. So why couldn't I be apart of this? Not saying that I didn't grow up wealthy, but we don't have maids." I asked after clearing my throat and crossing my arms. I promised myself to no longer shed any tears, so I had to suck it up. And that meant business, all I wanted was the truth. "As you can see, Leigh is Korean and at the time her parents nor did my parents wanted us together. So we ran away together and she ended up getting pregnant with you, so I immediately got into dad mode trying to hustle on the street just so I can provide for my little family, but it was so much I could do being that I was only fifteen years old. One day I met this guy who said that he can give me a job that will instantly bring me money, so I was down for it. He ended up making me sell drugs but would only give me five percent of what I made throughout the day and that wasn't enough. Especially not how long he had me standing on that damn corner. But he thought he was slick being that I was young. So he thought I was dumb, so I stole all of his things and tried running away but he caught up to me and threatened to kill you and your mom, so we immediately gave you up since neither of our parents wanted anything to do with our relationship, they would've probably handed us over to the guy if they would've found out about you. I'm so sorry if anything, if you were ever mistreated I'm sorry. Its just we couldn't let anything happened to you. And they still don't accept the fact that we're together, so I'm sorry to say but you won't be meeting your grandparents. They even hate each other." Kyle sighed making me slowly nod my head. "Told you Love." Mrs. Graham smiled while rubbing my hand again. I nodded and blinked back the tears that were getting ready to fall. "So- so you guys never gave me up intentionally?" I asked as my voice began to crack. "No, it was actually to keep you safe." Leigh smiled as she calmed her cries with sniffles. "So is that the reason my last name couldn't be changed? You always had plans on getting me back?" I asked and they both nodded their heads. "It was never supposed to be this long, it was supposed to be until you were five because we would've been of age and would've been able to get you back without a fight, but we were still being chased." Leigh explained to us. Damn they had it harder than I thought. So much for me thinking that they were being selfish. "So are the people that has been chasing you gone or what?" Mrs. Graham asked with a look of worry. I knew she was going to ask that before I even got a chance to lay my head here. "He's actually dead, no we're not mass murderers, he died from lung cancer." Kyle said making Mrs. Graham lowly sigh. So I sighed and leaned on Mrs. Graham's shoulder. "So what now?" I asked shaking my leg. That went easier than I actually thought it would go. I thought I would be getting escorted by their secretive security guards for attacking them without giving them a chance or I would've been getting escorted by the cops for turning their house upside down. But here I was ready for the next step to build a relationship with these strangers that are my parents. Its not like they started the war, the guy shouldn't even had let that fifteen year old boy out on the streets like that. "We get to know each other better for the next two weeks that you're here." Leigh cheerfully smiled. I gave a small smile and looked over at Mrs. Graham. "Well my mom has to get back to New York Sunday because that's how long we planned to stay." I said making Mrs. Graham smile. "No its okay baby, you can stay with your family an extra week. I'll just have to talk to Ms. Camara and see what she can do about those grades of yours since she's the cause of this anyway." Mrs. Graham smiled. "But I want you to stay too." I whined making her laugh at me. "Have fun with the princess of England." Mrs. Graham joked making them laugh at her. "Yes I would love for you to stay too, so I can learn more things about her that she tries to hide. You know how teenagers are." Leigh joked making Mrs. Graham laugh. I smiled and shook my head. "Am I late?" A girl asked as she walked through the living room. Dressed in a nude top, high waist a little torn jeans and her floral Adidas slides while her hair was slicked back into a bun. She was real pretty ! But she didn't look anything like them, so I wasn't worried if we were related or anything. But what I could say is she was thick as hell ! Like a stripper straight out of the strip club. She didn't have no stomach and barely breast, but her hips and butt was on a thousand. "Very. But you can still show her around while I talk to her mom." Leigh suggested to the girl. "Hey Kaylee, I'm your god sister Serenity. I've tried texting you but someone was playing on your phone." She shrugged making me smile. So she was serious ? This is crazy. "That's crazy because I thought someone was playing on my phone as well, but it was actually you texting me." I said and we shared a laugh. "No its me girl, all in the flesh." Serenity said while doing a whole 360 spin. "Glad to meet you." I giggled. "Feelings mutual and how old are you again?" She tilt her head to the side. "Nineteen." I said. "Oh boy here she go!" Leigh and Kyle dramatically sighed making me look back at them. "Oh you're a baby! Girl I'm turning twenty one this week!" She cheered making us all laugh at her. "Ayeee I'm came perfect timing didn't I?" I smirked making her nod her head. "Let's go check this house out so we can go head out and you don't need to change because that outfit is cute as ever!" She cheered making me laugh at her again. "Thank you." I smiled. Looking over at my outfit, I must've really did a good job; I've been getting compliments all day. Dressed in a light faded denim jean jacket, a tan tucked in shirt, my asymmetrical cut denim skirt and my white low Vans. Everyone seemed to approve this outfit, especially Legacy. He's the best when it comes to compliments. "No problem." She shrugged. Showing me around the house, I finally found out what would my dream house would be like. Just like this, nothing different or nothing added minus my cars that'll be out front. But everything else is perfect, especially that pool in the back. "So how do you like it?" Serenity smiled at me. "Its nice. I see where I get my taste in style from." I said making Serenity laugh. "Yeah that's all your mother's ideas. But come on let's head to the mall before it closes." Serenity said. So I followed her back into the living room where the my parents were. "Well I'm going to kidnap my God sister for the day." Serenity smiled before sipping on her ice latte. "Have fun and here take this Kaylee." Leigh stood up and held out a black card to me. "No thank you, I have my own money. Ma I'll be back, call me if anything." I kissed Mrs. Graham's cheek. "Okay and take a couple of pictures for me." She said making me laugh at her. "Let one of them help you with your iPhone after." I giggled. "Will do." She smiled. "Be back around seven, I'm making a big dinner." Leigh said. "Ohhh god mommy what are you making?" Serenity smirked. "A surprise, just be back around seven." She said. "Okay, sure." Serenity said before rushing out of the house and down to her car, which was a 2016 bubble gum pink Jeep. "Ohhhh that's how you're rolling?!" I gasped making her laugh. It was only right to get comfortable with her, Serenity was too friendly for me to play the stubborn side. And she was no way near stuck up, so I really felt the need to be comfortable with her. "Something like that. You drive?" Serenity asked unlocking the car. "I wish, I barely know how to ride a bike." I joked as we climbed inside of her car. "No way?!" She laughed at me. "Just kidding, I love riding bikes. But I was serious about not knowing how to drive." I said making her laugh some more. "Okay, by the time you leave which will have me in tears you'll be leaving with your license and is your birthday near?" Serenity asked as we both put on our seatbelts. "Passed. It's in January." I shrugged. "Okay so you'll be leaving with a car, that's a gift from your god sister and her parents that you'll be meeting tonight at dinner." She said and I nodded my head. My own car plus a driving license ?! I was enjoying Miami already. "Thanks." I smiled. "No problem Sissy." Serenity smiled before driving away.

"And tomorrow I have a whole agenda for us, I was supposed to be in Mexico right now getting darker than I actually am. But I planned to make sure that your first time in Miami is the best. And Steven you don't have to carry the bags anymore." Serenity smiled at the second butler that Leigh and Kyle owns. But he was much younger than Gerald was and a little taller. "Are you sure?" He asked. I smirked seeing the spark already between Steven and Serenity. "Yes I'm sure, thank you." She smiled at him. I bit my lip to hide my giggle and began to walk off to my room with Serenity. "Jungle fever huh?" I snickered kicking off my Vans and took off my socks as well. "No...." Serenity while plopping down on my bed. "Yes!! A whole lot of it! Can you tell?" She whined making me smile while nodding my head. "Its cute though, but what's stopping you two?" I asked hanging up my jean jacket and pulled out my towel, wash cloth and my bonnet. "He's a Butler and he works for my god father." She sighed with a pout. "So! That doesn't mean a thing. I mean if he likes you and you like him as you say, a occupation shouldn't stop you guys. But I'll be back and when are you going to get ready for tonight?" I tilt my head to the side. "As soon as you go in the bathroom, I have my own room here as well." She shrugged with a smile. "Okay, I'll be back." I said before walking into the bathroom. Yes I was lucky enough to get the adjoining room. Quickly getting undressed, my phone began to ring from a Face time call, so I put in the extra robe that was hung up already and slid over answer. All of my girls faces popped up on the screen with huge smiles on their faces.

"Hey Kaylee!!" They cheered in a unison.

"Hi my babies!" I sang back and sat on the toilet.

"Robe? Okay! Felt you Kay!" Paisley yelled making us all laugh at her. "Ignore her, but how's Miami treating you?" Zillah smiled. She was somewhat getting her glow back and I was happy for her.

"Its fine so far, I haven't really did anything but go shopping. But I miss you hoes!" I faked a pout making them do the same.

"We miss you too and tell Legacy that he could still party with us, you only been gone for ten hours!" Clementine laughed making me smile.

"That's my good boy, but it feels like forever I miss him too." I smirked making them suck their teeth's and tease me. But I didn't care, that's my baby.

"But what are you about to get into Ms. Robe wearer?" Jayde teased as I laughed.

"A dinner. I'm going to meet my god parents tonight." I shrugged and she nodded her head.

"That's good. At least you like it there because annoying ass Clemmy and Jayde was ready to fly to Miami just in case someone made your cry baby ass shed a couple of tears." June playfully rolled her eyes.

"And that's why I love them, I love y'all too before ya attack me." I giggled.

"You better! But we'll call you later since you have a very important dinner to attend. Call us if anything." Clementine smiled. "Especially me!" Jayde yelled making me laugh at her.
