"Chaeyoung...." I Heard A Familiar Voice Say.
"Chaeyoung, Wake Up." The Voice Continued, Lightly Shaking Me.
"Chaeyoung, Please, Just Go Back To Sleep Later."
"No..." I Groaned And Pressed My Face On My Pillow.
"Chaeyoung, Your Father's On The Phone. He Wants To Talk To You."
"Tell Him To Call Back Later." I Mumbled.
"Your Father Said He Wants To Talk To You Now."
"Why? Shouldn't He Be Busy Making Babies?" I Asked Rhetorically.
Dahyun Sighed, But Continued Shaking Me Gently. Well, What's The Point Of Sleeping Anyway? I Was Already Awake And I Couldn't Go Back To Sleep In My State. If I Don't Love Dahyun, I Would Have Strangled Her. She, Of All People, Knows How Much I Hate Waking Up Early Unless I Have Something Important To Do. And As Far As I Know, Talking To My Dad Isn't One Of Those Important Things. It Was Just A Necessity. It's Not That I Don't Love Dad.... It's Just That He Loves Me To Death. He Calls Me Every Freaking Second. But I Couldn't Blame Him Because I'm His Only Child And I'm A Girl. I've Always Been Daddy's Little Girl. And He Finds It Real Hard When I'm Away From Him. He Always Says He's Not Whole Without Me. That's Why I Love Him Too. I Decided To Stop Giving Dahyun A Hard Time. I Held Out My Hand And She Gave Me The Phone Happily Then Slipped Out Of My Room.
"Good Morning, Baby Girl!" My Dad Greeted Cheerfully.
"Morning Dad." I Greeted Back, Lacking Enthusiasm.
"What's The Matter, Baby Girl Is Something Wrong? Did The Paparazzis Follow You Again? Is Your Credit Card Broken? Did You Lose It? Do You Hate The Designer I Hired For You?" Dad Asked, Continuously, Panicking.
Isn't He Adorable?
"No, Dad. You Know How Much I Hate Waking Up Early."
"Oh, Right. Sorry, Baby Girl. Your Old Man Didn't Think Of That. Want Me To Call You Back Later?" He Asked, Sounding Upset.
I Couldn't Help But Chuckled. He Could Be Really Childish Sometimes.
"No Need, Daddy. I'm Not Sleepy Anymore, Anyway. So How's Your Honeymoon?" I Asked, Trying To Make Conversation.
"Really, Baby Girl? You Want To Know How My Honeymoon Went?" He Chuckled.
I Blushed And Rolled My Eyes As He Said That. As If I Want Details About His Sex Life. He Could Keep It To Himself, For All I Care. I Don't Even Want To Think Of The Words 'Sex' And 'Dad' In The Same Sentence. It Makes Me Shudder To Think Dad's Still Sexually Active. It's Really Gross.
"Dad, You Know I Wasn't Talking About That. That's Like 'Ew'." I Clarified.

"I Know, I'm Just Making Fun Of You. Anyway. I Really Had Fun With Jiwon. And I'm Hoping She'd Get Pregnant Soon. Not That I Want To Replace You Baby Girl. You'll Always Hold A Special Place In My Heart, You Know That, Right? But You're Growing Up. Sooner Or Later, You'll Leave Me And Get Married Then Live In A Place Far From Me."
My Heart Clenched At My Dad's Words. Poor Daddy, He Really Thought I'd Leave Him.
"Dad.... I'll Never Leave You For Another Guy. You Always Be The Number One Guy In My Life. And I'll Order My Future Husband To Buy A Mansion Somewhere Near Ours So I Could See You Everyday." I Consoled Him.
"Oh, Future Husband, Huh? Is There Something You're Referring To?" He Asked Playfully But I Could Hear The Curiosity In His Voice, Almost Desperate To Know Who Stole His Little Girl's Heart.
"Not Now, Dad. But You'll Meet Him Soon." I Smiled At The Thought Of Introducing Jungkook To My Dad.
"Is He Your New Obsession?" He Asked.
"Yup And I'm In Love With Him, Dad." I Admitted.
"Well........ I Want To Meet Him Soon, Baby Girl. He Should Pass My Standards First Before You Two Get Married."
"Okay, Daddy." I Smiled.
"Baby, Is He The Reason Why You're Studying In That Public School?"
"Yes, Dad. Is There A Problem?" I Asked, Worriedly.
"It's Just That...... He Might Not Able To Give You The Life You Want, Baby."
"Dad, I'm Willing To Put Up With That Kind Of Life If That's The Only Way I Could Be With Him."
"If That's What You Want Then I'll Support You. But If He Breaks Your Heart, I'll Break His Face."
"Oh My Gosh, Dad, You're Too Nice To Even Hurt Someone."
"Maybe, But I'll Ask My Bodyguards To Beat Him Up."
"Well, Save That Thought Because That Won't Be Happening Ever. He'll Never Hurt Me."
"Okay, Well, Jiwon's Calling Me Now. We're Going To Visit Some Tourist Spot. Our Flight Back To Seoul Is Tomorrow. Call Me When You're Free And Baby Girl, Good Luck On Your First Day Tomorrow."
"Thank You, Daddy. I Love You."
"Love You Too, Baby Girl. Bye."
Then He Hung Up. I Heard A Knock On The Door And I Told The Person To Come In. It Was Dahyun. She Brought Me Some Clothes.
"What Are Those, Dahyun?" I Asked, Pointing At The Clothes.
"These Are Your Clothes For The Whole Week, Chaeyoung."
"Oh Right, There's No Uniform. Anyway, What's It Like Going To A Public School?" I Asked.
She Sat On The End Of My Bed.

"Well, There's Your Physical Social Ladder. You Know, The Jocks And Cheerleaders Are On Top While The Nerds And The Loners Are On The Bottom. There Are Bullies And Mean Girls Who Would Make Your Life A Living Hell If You Get In There Way. And I'm Telling You It's Not Pretty. They're Cruel."
"Girls In My Old School Are Cruel Too."
"Yes, But They're Bitches Who Make Your Life A Living Hell In Style. In Public School. You Can Be Bullied Physically And Verbally. So I Advice You Not To Cross Their Path."
Oh Please, Like I Care About Those Bitches. But If They Ever Try Touching Jungkook, I'd Be The One To Make Their Lives A Living Hell. But I Just Nodded At Dahyun.
"So, You Really Like My Brother?" She Asked.
"I'm In Love With Him." I Corrected.
"I Can See That. But Like What I Told You, JK Is Different From All The Guys You Dated, Chaeyoung."
"That's The Point, Dahyun. He's Different. I Wouldn't Date Someone Like My Exes."
"He's Distant, He Doesn't Open Up Easily. I Know You, Chaeyoung And I Know JK. You're Sweet And Kind-Hearted And My Brother's Not. He Can Be Cold And Mean. He Wouldn't Sugar-Coat His Words Just To Make You Smile. He Has Broken Hearts And Faces And He Wouldn't Change For Anyone. If You Really Love Him, You Have To Love Him For Who He Is, Chaeyoung. You Should Never Give Up On Him If You Want Him To Feel How Much You Love Him." She Held Both Of My Hands.
"I Know, Dahyun. I'll Never Give Up On Jungkook, Not Even He Pushes Me Away."
She Smiled. "Hmm.... Maybe, I'm Wrong. Maybe You Two Are Perfect For Each Other. You're Just As Stubborn As He Is."
I Giggled, Finding Our Similarity Cute. Dahyun Walked Out Of The Room. The Day Pass In A Blur.
*****************************************
Hoseok Drove Me To School The Next Day. I Rolled My Windows Down And Stared At The Parking Lot. It Was Almost Full. There's Still A Few More Minutes Before The Bell Ring. I Was Planning My 'Late Entrance, Early Exit' For That Day. Hoseok Opened Up The Door For Me And I Stepped Out. Everyone Was Staring At Me. Girls Were Glaring And Guys Were Checking Me Out. 'Oh Yes, I Know I'm Hot, You Can Look But You Can't Touch.' I Thought Smugly.
"I'll Call You When You Need To Pick Me Up." I Told Hoseok And He Nodded And Drove Off.
I Stayed In The Parking Lot For A While. Apparently, Students Found Out That The Great Son Chaeyoung Would Be Studying In Their School. Ah, There Are Divisions In The Parking Lot. The Cheerleaders And Jocks Were On One Side. Then There's The Side Of Nerds And Loners. There's Also A Side Full Of Emos And Finally The Side Of A Badass Group. It Wasn't Hard Grouping Them. I Could Tell Which Group They Belong To By The Way They Dress. I Turned My Attention To The Badass Group. They Didn't Even Have Cars. They All Have Motorbikes. They All Portrayed The 'I'll Kill You If You Get Near Me' Look On Their Faces. Cute. But I Haven't Seen Jungkook Or Felix So I Walked Inside The School. Girls Our Checking Out My Dress, Shoes And Bag. But I Didn't Mind. I Just Wished They Were Discreet About It As They Whispered Words Of Envy. I Got My Schedule And Walked To My Locker. I Got The Books For My First Period Then Stood By My Locker, Waiting For The Bell To Ring. As The Bell Rung, I Waited For 5 Minutes Then I Walked To My First Class. I Walked In And Found A Bald Old Man With Round Glasses. My First Subject Was History.
"You're Late." He Said.
"Oh, I'm Sorry. I'm New Here. I'm Son Chaeyoung By The Way, But You Can Call Me Chaeyoung." I Said Trying To Look Sorry For Being Late Even Though I Wasn't.
His Eyes Widened When I Said That I'm Son Chaeyoung. Typical Reaction, Nothing New. The Students Whispered Excitedly. I Tried Hard Not To Roll My Eyes. He Recovered Quickly And Coughed.
"Ah, You're Excused Since Its Your First Day. I Hope You Have A Good School Year. You May Take Your Seat."
I Nodded And Looked For A Vacant Seat. There Were Two Vacant Seats Which Were Beside Each Other. I Took One Seat As The Other One Beside Me Remained Vacant. Wait, Where's Jungkook? I Thought His In My Every Class? I Got Annoyed When I Search The Room And Didn't Find Him. As The Teacher Started Talking About Something I Didn't Have A Clue About, The Door Opened And Jungkook Walked In, Looking Like A Greek God And Sex Symbol. Girls Sighed Dreamily, Which Irritated Me While Boys Glared At Jungkook For Taking The Girls Attention. He Was Wearing A Black Leather Jacket And Shirt That Clung To His Body. I Felt My Heart Stop Beating As He Walked Towards Me. OMG 'Is He Gonna Propose To Me Now, In Front Of The Class?' I Thought Excitedly. But To My Disappointment, He Walked To The Seat Beside Me, Not Even Noticing That I Was There.
"Mr. Jeon, You're Late!" The Teacher Scolded.
But Jungkook Didn't Reply. Instead, He Turned His Head To My Side And I Caught His Eyes. His Eyes Widened When He Saw Me. And I Smirked.

Steamforged Sorcery [A Steampunk LitRPG]
This is a fantasy story in a steampunk setting, not a sci-fi. The Great War ravaged the face of the earth many years ago. In the years that passed, the world rebuilt, mixing machinery and magic to form something new. Great blimps took to the sky, belching steam and smoke as metal cities sprouted like weeds below. Angel, a talented mage, scours the desert endlessly in search of lost knowledge. When it unexpectedly falls into his hands, he quickly comes to realize that the world is far larger – and far more deadly – than he ever could have predicted. But no amount of danger is going to keep Angel from seeking out greater strength and traveling the world, claiming all the greatest treasure that it has to offer. To most, the desert is a dangerous threat to be feared. To Angel, it’s a land of opportunity, waiting to be exploited. Steamforged Sorcery is, as the title suggests, a LitRPG Steampunk story with heavy focus on magic and scenery. The main character starts out relatively strong (but far from overpowered) but will eventually grow in strength to incredible levels. It is moderately paced and does not progress at ridiculous speeds. Release Schedule: 1,500 words daily Monday-Friday

Immovable Mage
What do you call a mage incapable of casting spells? In this story, we usually call him Terry. When the boy is accepted into Arcana Academy, his talent in the pillars of mana foundation awes everyone. All the bigger is the eventual disappointment when Terry turns out to be an utter failure at spellwork. Diagnosis? Major aspect impairment. No cure. Ever. Faced with expulsion, Terry is blessed with the unexpected kindness of others. Terry loses his spot in the Academy but in exchange, he finds a home with a family. Terry starts to train as a pure mana cultivator but never stops looking for his own path as a mage – day after day, season after season, always searching for compatible spellwork… Until finally, Terry’s perseverance earns him a single spell – the only spell he will ever be able to cast. Disclaimers: Chapter Frequency: I aim for one chapter a week. Chapter Length: I try to keep chapters between 3000 and 6000 words. Binge Preference: I plan for 30 chapters per arc. If you want to binge a complete arc, then that is the number to wait for. I will also add a line to chapters indicating the beginning and end of an arc. Advanced Access: I have created a patreon page with early access to four chapters for patrons. What to Expect: Progression fantasy with a western fantasy setting and with eastern fantasy elements. A main character that is forced to explore a very narrow path of magic due to a permanent condition. A main character that is a part of a larger cast. A main character that is growing but won't become the strongest around anytime soon. A story following a single main character but with introduction or theme setting scenes without the main character. What Not to Expect: Edgy grimdark characters – I will never write a sexual violence scene or gory descriptions of torture. I hate reading it and I would hate writing it even more. Romance – romantic relationships will never be the focus of the story and only appear in the background. The main character is preoccupied with other stuff. Other forms of relationships (family, friends, companions) play a bigger role. Cover: The cover art was commisioned from redditor Linh-Nguyen87. The font is alita brush by Inovatype Typefoundry. Overview: 001–030 Arc 1, Cultivating Perseverance: complete. 031–060 Arc 2, Undying Defiance: complete. 061–090 Arc 3, Unyielding Fury: scheduled for publishing. 091–120 Arc 4, Savage Hope: scheduled for publishing. 121–150 Arc 5, Self-Made Fate: first draft in progress. 151–180 Arc 6, Heretic Style: sketching in progress. Further Arcs are still in the sketching and idea collection phase.

Game Changer - Day Dreams
The greatest foe that man shall face lies within himself: his own mind. It can contort the world around him and make friends seem like enemies. One such soul in the depths of his own despair met an untimely end, but with his dying breath he made a plea, a plea to live. And so it was a being, neither human nor god or anything inbetween chose to save a life out of pity. But it did not understand the consequences of its actions, the changes a single life could bring. Like a pebble dropped into an ocean, first a ripple, then a wave, and soon all the lands of the world would be drowned before its might... So begins a new life, in a new world. While those who once knew him call it a game he calls it home. Now the question will arise, how far will he go to defend it.
