Chapter 9: Questioning..
Rusame is soon for all those rusame shippers who had to be patient. (Remember this is American and rusame.)

Japan was on his way to the airport while I on the other hand was on my way to a grassy field. 'Twas a nice day indeed, sun shining, green grass, tall- oof. I looked down at the person I had ran into and extended a hand for them.
Oh shit it's Switzerland-
"Watch where you're going asshat!" The European country slapped my hand away, getting up and dusting his dark green coat of dirt.
"Hehe, sorry Switzerland I wasn't watching where I was going." The other country deadpanned, "obviously, now can you move? you're blocking my path." I rolled my eyes moving over for the obnoxious country. (Switzerland is my favorite country y'all 😎👌🏻Not for fanfictions though.)
How rude.
Well anyways the day was fantastic. The breeze wa- oof.
Who the fuck is it this time?!
My butt hit the ground as I let out a pained yelp, I looked up at the culprit of my fall. The other country fixed his hair extending a hand. "Sorry about that America." Denmark said sheepishly.
I sighed and took his hand. "It's fine, I'm assuming you were chasing after Switzerland?" I questioned the taller country. "Yuh, anywho gotta blast."
I'm gonna stop talking about scenery before I run into another country.

Now that I think about it more.. did I like guys? It was an odd thought yes, but I couldn't help but think about it.
I mean I sometimes think guys are attractive. I also am always surrounded by guy countries, other than a select few.
What if I liked both? I'm already stuck in the Japan situation. Everyone thinks we're dating.

Would I date Japan? I stopped in my tracks and thought about it. Kissing Japan, hugging Japan, loving in Japan in general.
I felt my face heat up for some odd reason but didn't take any notice to it.
Do I, America, the United States, brother of Canada, the most talkative country, the one that eats burgers all the time.. like guys?
Was it as big of a deal as I was making it? Even if I did like guys or not what led me to ask myself this? Is it possible I fancy a guy?
The thought made me weirded out but I still thought about being in love with another dude.
"Ya know, I don't think it sounds that bad.." I smiled to myself.
So does this mean I like guys?

Book 3, Through the Cracks, is ongoing. New chapters Monday and Friday at 8:30 PM EST. Join the Discord for discussion and extra goodies! Caleb hasn't had a good day ever since he was abducted into outer space. The food sucks. Nobody understands a word he says. The aliens won't even let him leave his cell. He's driven to fight his captors and escape their clutches. Confronted with hostile aliens, intent on holding him prisoner, Caleb chooses to dive headfirst among forces he can't understand. He'll either learn the eddies of the alien worlds he's stranded in, or else he'll never make it back home. If his hallucination of one of the other abductees can be trusted, maybe they can make it through the trials before them. At least there's no homework?

March 16, 2021 - Hiatus note: I will come back to this story! I'm really struggling with it, though. It's been a number of years and I kind of forgot what the original outline was. I still remember the main path, but not any of the details, because I stupidly didn't write an outline. Progress is being made. I'd like a very decent sized buffer before I start posting again. Don't want to get hopes up only to immediately disappoint! ----- Amy Barnes, an aspiring chemical researcher, finds herself dying from cancer. One of her most desperate prayers is answered in a way that she'd never dreamed possible, and she finds herself living a new life as a dungeon. Warning: Violence, morbidity Cover: Taken from here, courtesy of www.pexels.com by photographer @tookapic. Author's Note: I've read some dungeon core stories on here, and they've tickled my fancy. I've thought up a whole story, start to finish, and thought it'd be a blast to put it into words. Other than the violent and morbid aspects, this story is suitable for children. Aside from the vocabulary, that is. I will avoid the temptation to have any cursing, sexuality, or gore. Excessive gore, I suppose - it is a dungeon story, after all. I’ll do a little research from time to time, but this story will not have a great deal of rigor. I’ve made Amy’s knowledge comparable to my own for that reason. There’s a few things she knows more about than I do, and a few things that she knows less about. Unlike me, she doesn’t have access to Google - it’s a non issue for her to be more knowledgeable than me, on occasion :P This story does not use the same magic system that I’ve used in either Sorcery in Boston or A Summoner’s Confession. This one is mostly intention based, and designed to be easier access for people who are more used to the idea of, “It’s magic, therefore it works” kind of thinking. Do note that Amy is, in most senses of the term, overpowered. This goes along with the usual dungeon core stories. She’s not more powerful than other dungeons per se, but she does have knowledge and intelligence that puts them to shame. I thought about doing this in a LitRPG style, but systems take balance, and I wanted this to be pure fun to write. This story was inspired from a few sources. Despite the title, it wasn’t really inspired by Of Mice and Men, though some of the themes match. Rather, I’ve taken inspiration from a few dungeon core novels on Royal Road Legends for the main idea. Many conventions of dungeon core stories have been perverted from the genre, however. I’ve taken my usual science-loving self to town to play around with the powers, and I can only hope you have half as much fun reading this as I have had writing it.
8 89The RPG Apocalypse (LitRPG)
Life isn't a game. Well, maybe it is now. Every day is the same for Joseph. Study; go to class; repeat. He can't help wondering what it's all for? Who is it all for? Life is dull and there's no prospect of that changing. Is some excitement too much to ask for? "Get to safety if you wish to survive!" Joseph's prayers are answered, but not in a way he could ever have expected. Goblins, ghouls, kobolds and a myriad of monsters and mythical creatures have spawned all over the college campus and beyond. The carnage is shocking. If he's going to survive the RPG apocalypse, Joseph is going to have to figure out the new rules fast. And is it wrong to feel so alive, when so many other people have died?

Diary Number 999, year I-don't-care, location home. Parenting. Of all I've found clear answers except for this most mundane topic. And not for the lack of trying. My library, so humongous my good friends told me one after the other there is no book it doesn't contain helped little. There are crumbling tomes of ancient magic, vocabularies depicting the evolution of the magical language itself, grimoires and holy bibles of cults long past, rows and rows filled with scrolls bearing the efforts of my magical research, contracts, diaries, letters and more. But parenting? There was none. Yet a struggle nearly every member of the Races is not foreign to. I...must have lived under a rock. Across aeons no less. What a humbling revelation.

Mages span throughout the three realms. Mortal, Heaven, and Hell. However, it is discovered that a fourth and possibly fifth realm exists. Time and space. Aleius and Baltar challenge the seat of heaven, but soon discover the most powerful of mages to be enslaved by a threat hidden amongst the stars. In their inevitable loss versus the cosmic being, they return to the mortal realm with the help of their Deities. Licking their wounds in the shadows of a powerless realm, they cultivate a new class of mages to combat what lurks in the voids of space. This is my first novel so any and all comments and critiques are much appreciated!
