《Ancient God (Ancient Love Poetry)》Chapter 21: The Appearance of Taicang Spear

(Part 1)
The shadow slowly rose like a phantom under the cover of the golden energy. The golden light suddenly dissipated when it reached the sky, turning into black lightning that pierced the sky. The everlasting majesty slowly spread, the Taicang Spear on the top of Liaowang Mountain looking solemn and powerful, looking down on the world like the soul of a god.
Immortal power that was even stronger than before had enveloped the entire Liaowang Mountain, accompanied by a scorching aura among the spiritual power flying towards the crowd. The unchanging fairyland of the mountain gave off a withering feeling. The coercion from the person made it difficult for the present immortal and demon lords to stand, and beads of sweat as big as beans dripped down from their foreheads. Everyone looked ahead in terror, finding it difficult to believe that the cause of this terrifying scene was only a weapon.
According to ancient legends, the Taicang Spear carried the real fire of the Three Realms and could burn anything. With such a terrifying searing power, perhaps only this item had it.
True God Bai Jue was worthy of being one of the four true gods. Even his weapon was this powerful. Thinking of this, everyone looked at the Taicang Spear a little more fiercely. If they could obtain it, becoming a god might not be impossible, but when the coveted minds looked towards the other party in the square, they couldn't help but chill down.
In the entire square, the only calm people were Qing Mu, who was holding Hou Chi, and Jing Zhao. A small green umbrella hung over Jing Yang's head. The aquamarine line was wrapped around the three people, who all looked calm. It seemed like there was nothing wrong with going under the umbrella. As for Qing Mu...everyone looked at the young man calming walking towards the top and understood for the first time that there were differences in an immortal lord's peak power. At this time, no one below the time was not astonished by this mysterious high deity.

Only such a person could be fearless under the heavy pressure of the Taicang Spear, like a big mountain.
"First brother." Jing Zhao glanced complicatedly at Qing Mu's back figure, her eyes falling on the snow-white fur under the dark green gown, her expression turning cold. She nodded towards Jing Yang.
Jing Yang understood. He looked at the Taicang Spear with approval. His body moved as he drove the Yuhua Umbrella in the direction of the Taicang Spear. The aquamarine immortal line instantly surpassed Qing Mu, and as everyone expected, the blockage did not appear. The Yuhua Umbrella cut open the golden light that shrouded the Taicang Spear and quickly approached the Taicang Spear until it was three meters away.
"Qing Mu..." Hou Chi was also shocked by the power of the small green umbrella and raised her head to look at Qing Mu, her expression a bit heavy.
"It's okay, it won't be that simple." Qing Mu calmly patted Hou Chi's head, then looked at the Zhiyang Spear hanging on the top of the mountain without blinking. An inexplicable color flashed across the bottom of his eyes, and the golden mark in his pupils disappeared, then appeared, making Hou Chi, who was staring at him, suddenly freeze...What is going on with this familiar feeling?
The closer they got, the hotter the aura became. When the Taicang Spear was within reach, delight quickly flashed at the bottom of Jing Yang's eyes. Under the exclamation of the crowd, he stretched out his hand...There was a loud bang, and the entire mountain shook. Scorching red fireworks burst out from the Taicang Spear to a hundred meters away, fiercely and quickly shooting towards Jing Yang. The scorching sea of fire instantly wrapped itself around the green umbrella, and Jing Yang disappeared in front of everyone's eyes.

Among the red light, two immortal forces pushed against each other, and it was difficult to distinguish the strong and the weak. The joy on Jing Zhao's face instantly froze. She glanced at Jing Jian anxiously, "Second brother, what's going on? First brother...he'll be fine, right?"
"It's okay, this aura should be controlled by the kirin. With Heavenly Mother's Yuhua Umbrella protecting him, even if first brother can't win, he won't be injured." Jing Jian looked solemnly at the scorching fire in the sky and grabbed Jing Zhao, who was about to rush forward. He turned his head towards the top of the mountain to see Qing Mu and Hou Chi still walking up step by step as if they were not affected by the fierce battle in the air, and there was a complex sigh in his eyes.
Before Jing Jian could talk, a roar suddenly sounded from the stomach of the mountain, and the power of the ancient wilderness slowly spread around the entire mountain range. Under the crowd's eyes, a huge and incomparable group of fiery red light from the Taicang Spear appeared in the stomach of the mountain. With the scorching heat dissipating, a huge beast stepped out of the cloud, rose to mid-air, and slowly stopped when it was half a meter away from the Taicang Spear. The golden eyes looked down at the people on the mountain with majesty and indifference.
Although this huge beast had not appeared in the Three Realms for tens of thousands of years, everyone present still recognized that the magical beast with a dragon-head and horse-body with wings spreading out behind was a kirin from ancient times.
Qing Mu, who had never stopped walking, also stopped. He stared at the kirin in the sky with suspicion...was this kirin really Bo Xuan?
Hou Chi couldn't help but hold up her small body and looked up into the air. After a moment, the hope in her eyes sank bit by bit — With such a cold expression, he was no Bo Xuan at all. The Demon Emperor said that a kirin once broke into the Demon Realm eight thousand years ago, but the kirin up there only had a remnant of its soul.
"Who are you waiting for? How dare you trespass on True God Bai Jue's place for cultivation! Coveting for the Taicang Spear!"
Everyone in the Three Realms knew about the ancient beasts' power. A kirin's combat skills were even more outstanding. A sea of scorching fire swept the sky instantly, and the indifferent voice rang in everyone's ears. The people of the immortal and demon clans looked up at Jing Yang, who was rolled up into a ball, and were all startled inside, with no one daring to answer.
"Magical beast kirin, I am Jing Jian of the Nine Heavens Heavenly Palace. A few months ago, we felt the appearance of the god weapon, and we came to Liaowang Mountain today to subdue it. We hope that you do not interfere." Jing Jian arched his hands and bowed. With his power, he could see that the kirin in the sky was relying on the last remnant of its soul to move, so it was not as powerful as it was in the beginning. From what he could see, if the kirin wanted to prevent them and seize people, the immortal and demon clans, including Qing Mu, were allies

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself.
