Midas' POV

I drove the chopper back to the Agency. Once I landed. I cut the engine, and walked out of the cockpit.

"That was so cool!" Luna cried, looking up at Meowscles. She had a huge smile on her face, and Kit seemed to be enjoying himself as well.

"Coppers are purrty fun, but we can't be kitten around inside 'em. Mew could get hurt," Meowscles cracked a couple more cat puns, and I chuckled.

"Can you come up with worse puns, Meow?" I asked, trying to hold back a smile.

"Hey, you laughed, and you're about to smile. So no,"

"Woah! Look at this building!" Luna exclaimed. I smiled and fixed my tie.

"Yup. That's Midas showing off for ya," Meowscles responded to her reaction. I felt my cheeks flush red and I playfully punched his shoulder.

"Come on in. I can give a quick tour," I said, leading the three of them inside. Meowscles followed close behind, but stopped dead once he saw Brutus, Tina, Skye, and Peely.

Peely jogged up to Meowscles and stopped him from going any further. "Go ahead M. I'll catch up," he called. I nodded and headed away.

Meowscles' POV

"Want to explain the children?" Peely asked. Skye, Tina, and Brutus were now behind me.

"They're orphans. M and I thought we'd take care of them,"

Skye's eyes widened. "So they're your KIDS?!" she asked excitedly.

"I guess. Something like that," I answered, smiling.

"Jeez..." Brutus rolled his eyes.

"Brutus, you wish you had a kid," Peely made fun of him.

"No! I hate kids," Brutus shot back.

"Will you two shut up?" Skye asked, rolling her eyes.

"Okay, I wasn't listening, I'll be honest." Tina started. "And wow. I knew you guys have done the dirty, but I didn't think this would be the outcome,"

"Tina, you're an idiot," I said, a small blush appearing on my cheeks. "And how would you possibly know that?"

"'Cause you guys are so loud-" Tina started, when Brutus cut her off.

"Spare the details Tina." Peely facepalmed, and Skye burst out laughing.

"Alright you guys. Good talk," I walked off chuckling.

"Meow, can you make me food?" Skye asked.

I sighed. "What do you want?"

She thought for a moment before answering with, "how 'bout dino nuggies?"

"Fine. I'll make you your dino nuggies," I reached into the freezer and pulled out the food. And for the hell of it, I made myself some too. After a couple of minutes the food was ready. I sat down on the couch and Skye plopped down next to me.

"Have you seen Tina and Maya? I haven't seen them in a while," Skye asked me.

"Oh, they took Luna and Kit to the Durr-Burger for dinner." she opened her mouth to speak again, when I cut her off. "And M is currently interviewing a potential new agent for the Agency." she nodded, and opened her mouth again, when Midas walked into the room, cutting her off once more.

"What can a girl do to get a word in around here?!" she exclaimed.

"Skye calm down." Deadpool said, bouncing around the room. My eyes widened as I realised what he was holding.

"Deadpool, why do you have a chicken in here?"

"It's a grilled chicken. And it's in here because I was going to eat it and now I don't want it. So I planned to do this!" He explained. He bunny hopped over to an open window, and threw the chicken outside. "Yeet!" he exclaimed. It hit one of the henchmen on the head and he fell to the ground. Deadpool had knocked him out with a grilled chicken. "Jackpot!" Deadpool cried. He jumped around in circles again. I stood up and punched him, knocking him out.

"Everyone would love it if you would calm down," I muttered. "Skye, what were you going to ask?"

"I was going to ask boss man who the new agent is,"

"Oh, she's right-" Midas was cut off by someone familiar walking in the room.

The girl waved. "Hey! Isn't that the waitress from chapter twelve?" Deadpool asked.

"I thought Meow knocked you out." Midas stated.

"Naw,"

"And secondly, what do you mean by 'chapter twelve'?" he asked.

"Don't worry about it. She's the waitress that we saw on Meow's birthday,"

"Oh yeah, you're right. Rox, was it?" I asked.

"That's me," she responded. Rox was wearing a purple skirt with yellow suspender straps. She had on a matching purple crop top with a strawberry on it, and she was wearing a hot pink cropped jacket. She had on yellow fingerless gloves and light blue knee length socks, with pink, blue, and yellow combat boots. Her black hair was worn down and she had a pink streak in her hair, as well as a large chain necklace around her neck, and strawberry earrings. Skye was just staring at her, and I kicked her softly with my foot. She shook her head and walked over to her. Skye threw her arms around her and gifted her a hug.

"Welcome to the team!" she exclaimed. "We're so glad to have you here,"

"Thanks! What did you say your name was?" she asked politely, pulling away from Skye's hug.

"I'm Skye, legendary adventurer! And this is my faithful companion, Ollie." Skye said, pointing to her head.

"Ollie!" Ollie squealed.

"That hat is so cool girl!"

"Thanks!" Skye exclaimed.

"And the rest of you are?" Rox asked, looking at me, and then to Deadpool, who was still laying on the ground. By this point, he had taken his mask off, and he was licking the floor. I kicked him in the head and he was knocked out for sure this time.

"I'm Meowscles, but you can call me Meow." I started, giving her a small wave. "That mess is Deadpool, and those four are TNTina, or Tina, Maya, Luna, and Kit." I said, pointing to each one of them as I introduced them. They had just walked in from the Durr-Burger trip.

"Nice to meet ya Rox. Welcome to the Agency," Tina said, and Maya gave her a thumbs up. Kit ran over to Midas and stood next to his feet. Midas picked him up, and set Kit on his shoulders. Luna wandered over to me, and reached for my hand. I grabbed it, and led her over to where Midas stood.

"Hi!" Luna exclaimed, flashing a large smile at Rox. "I like your outfit,"

"Aww, thanks little one. It's nice to meet you all."

"And there's more. We'll just have to wait for them to get back." I said looking back at Rox.

"Come, I'll show you to your room. You can design it however you'd like, and please don't worry about the cost. It can all be paid for." Midas said, setting Kit back down, and leading her to the staircase leading up to the quarters.

"It's much appreciated boss," she said, waving to us once more, before disappearing upstairs with Midas.

"I already know you have a crush on her," I said, poking Skye's shoulder.

"Okay, so maybe I have a crush on her..."

"My ship has sailed! I knew it since chapter twelve," Deadpool screamed.

"Okay, it's time to go. Come on DP. And we'll help you out Skye." Maya said, walking out.

"I'll help too!" Tina said, walking upstairs.

"Me too sis," I waved to her, and wandered up the stairs as well. I headed to my room and picked up the large workout bag in the corner. All I had in my room workout wise was weights, so I tossed them all in the bag. I plucked my clothes out of my closet, and grabbed my sneakers. I was wearing my boots, and my favorite jacket at that moment. I was getting ready to move into Midas' room.
