《A Man's Man (Midas x Meowscles)》~Hema~

Third person POV
When Midas was younger, he was certainly the troublemaker in his family. His parents were Bates, and Annie Hema, and they were evil. Midas was the youngest child, and spent as much time as he could outside with his brother and sister. His sister, Jules, was the middle child out of the three, and was extremely smart for her young age. Redux on the other hand, was not the smartest, as well as Midas wasn't. Redux was the eldest son. He was diagnosed with a deadly type of bone cancer, and lost both of his arms due to it. He was loved. Up until the time around his twelfth birthday.
Midas, or Michel was eight at the time, and Jules was ten. Redux and Jules were always loved up until that day. Michel on the other golden hand, wasn't. He was a mistake. His parents never wanted a third child, so they never paid attention to the young boy.
The faithful day when the Hema parents would hate all of their children rolled around. The three kids were outside at the time. Redux was using a knife to carve pictographs in a tree, and Jules was lecturing him about it. Michel was climbing the tree, and dropping apples on their heads. It finally came to a point where they decided to have a water balloon fight. Jules helped Michel down from his perch in the tree, while Redux filled the water balloons. "Guys! Come help me gather the grenades!" Redux called, making an explosion sound with his mouth.
Michel laughed, and ran to help his big brother with the balloons. He had always looked up to Redux. He was so kind to the boy, as well as Jules was. They both knew that Michel was a mistake, and he knew it too. They decided to take him under their wings, and they would never bully him about it. He loved them so much.
Jules, Redux, and Michel had gathered up the weapons, and started their battle. The balloons wouldn't pop, so they just ended up throwing them at trees and the house. Redux had metal prosthetic arms, and was already really good at throwing, so he always hit the children's targets. "Nice throw M!" Jules called as Michel threw a balloon.

"Thanks!" Redux ran to Michel and tagged him.
"Tag! You're it!"
The three kids beagan a game of tag. They were having fun playing, when their parents stormed out looking angry. "You children have something to explain!" their father screamed. The children's mother mouthed "I'm sorry," from behind their father.
They knew they were in trouble, but what for? Their father pointed to a window on the first floor, and the kids noticed that it was broken. "I didn't break that." Redux said quietly. Michel and Jules both denied it as well.
"If you didn't, then who did?!" their father balled his hands into fists, and their mother pulled out a small knife. She had tears in her eyes as she threw the knife at Jules. Jules mouthed, "It's okay mommy" as the knife hit her in the arm. She screamed in pain, as well as the two boys did. They were scared for her, and their father was hitting them. Their father lifted Michel into the air, and threw him onto the ground. He coughed up blood, and Juled ran to his side. She ripped the knife from her arm, and used it to cut up a part of her shirt to use as a bandage for her wound, and the wound on Michel's head.
When their father decided that he was finished with Redux, he moved over to Jules and Michel. He wasn't done yet. He reached for the knife in Jules' hands and grasped it. He was ready to stab one of the children, when Redux threw the knife he was using earlier. It hit their father's ankle, and it went deep inside. He cried out and sank to the ground, still holding the knife. The knife, which was held above the children's heads, came down with him, and sliced a large, deep line down Michel's right eye. He shrieked as his eye filled with blood. Jules started crying, and hit her father with the wrench on her belt. She knew her love for engineering would come in handy one day.
The children's mom came running to them and grabbed a hold of Redux and Jules' arm, and Michel held on tightly to Jules. She pulled them inside. "Jules, you knocked him out. He will wake up soon, so what I want you to do is pack a small bag consisting of clothes. I will get you some food and money, and you will run. I don't know where you will go, and you don't either. You just need to escape Misty Meadows! Go pack your bags, HURRY!" and with that, they ran off.

Redux and Michel stuffed a suitcase with clothes, a small tent, and blankets, while Jules helped her mother gather food. She was handed a lot of money, and was told to go to the vault in the basement. "Grab a pistol, some ammo, and a couple of knives. Two for each of you." their mom cried. Jules did as she was told. On her way back upstairs, she also grabbed a stack of papers, and markers, just in case they would need to hitch a ride with someone.
Their mother ran to Redux's room, and took Michel by the hand. She was a doctor, so she helped patch up his eye, to the point where it was now cloudy. Michel was blind in his right eye, and he would have a nasty scar, but he would be okay. He gave his mom the biggest hug, and thanked her for everything, and then left with his siblings.

"I got accepted into Storm Scout Academy!" Jules cried. She showed the boys her stolen phone, and they congratulated her. Jules was in eighth grade, but she had the smarts of a twelfth grader. "I leave now," the boys gave her a hug, and she slung her bag over her shoulder, and left.
"How about Sweaty Sands?" Redux held out a map to twelve year old Michel. "It's just north of here."
"Works for me." and they were off.
~
"I'm heading off to work bro. Are you staying in the tent?" Redux asked Michel. He nodded.
"I planned on going on a small walk, then yes." Redux left soon after.
Michel set out on his walk. He was about to pass the bakery, when he heard screaming coming from a back alleyway. He weighed his options. Either potentially save this person, or go about his merry way. Michel's mind wandered onto the side of saving the person. He turned around, and bolted into the alleyway. He came across a large glowing orb. It was the cause of the screaming. Being the curious child he was, Michel reached out to it. A young woman's voice could be heard.
"You are a kind man. You were willing to save this stranger, tell me, what is one wish out of anything that I could grant for you?"
Michel thought for a second. Anything? "I wish for..."
There was a large blast of light as Michel was thrown at the wall. He passed out. Redux came bolting around the corner, as work was let out for this reason. There was a large crowd of people surrounding the child. Redux was stopped by a police officer. "He's my brother!" he was granted access to going behind the barrier. Michel's small hands were golden. Redux reached for a small rock beside him, and dropped it in his limp hand. And sure enough, it turned to gold. Michel suddenly sat up, and began walking back towards the boy's tent. Redux came bolting after him.
Once he arrived, Michel was already packing up his things to leave. "Dude, what happened back there?" no answer. "Michel? Are you okay?"
"I'm sorry brother. But I have to leave." Michel walked out of the tent with his bag slung over his shoulder. "But before I do," he said, popping his head back inside. "The name's Midas. The one with the golden touch..."
