Shyam entered his room, And saw Anjali talking to their unborn she had lovingly taken to calling “Raaj-Kumari” (Princess) A small smile graced his lips and he moved closer to her and sat on the other side of the bed.
“You're here” Anjali whispered
“Yes.. What were the two of you talking about? Was mumma complaining about Daddy to our Raaj-Kumari?” Shyam asked humorously. Dropping a kiss in her hair.
“” Anjali said.
“”
“” Anjali told him.
Shyam nodded. Upset?
“” Anjali's concerned voice reached him “”
Shyam sighed, His eyes softening as he took in the concern shining in her beautiful eyes for him, She knew him so well. And yet..
“” He confessed.
“” She asked
“” Shyam asked
“” Anjali said. “”
“” Shyam explained.
“.” Anjali said shaking her head.
“” Shyam said
“” She sighed in defeat.
“” Shyam asked holding her hand in his
Anjali frowned “” She asked confused
“” Shyam asked softly
“” Anjali cupped his face
“” Shyam said, His eyes shone with unshed tears.
Anjali looked at him confused as well as scared, There weren't many days he was vulnerable, There weren't many occasions when Anjali got to witness this side of her husband. The last time he was this vulnerable was when she had told him the news of her being pregnant, It was as if she saw a whole new person that day, Her Shyam-ji.
“” Anjali said softly trying to put his worries at ease
“” Bua-ji complained coming out of Khushi's room with a plate of food in her hands.
Arnav had just entered the house, Garima smiled and shook her head at her daughter's childishness.
“” Arnav chuckled “”
“” Garima said.
“” Arnav smiled. “”
“” Shashi told Arnav.
Arnav nodded in understanding, took the plate from Madhumati and started towards Khushi's room only to find her standing near the window, looking at the stars. Arnav kept the plate on the table and went up to her.

“” Arnav hugged her from the back, burying his face in her hair.
“” She greeted relaxing in his embrace
“” Arnav asked softly, turning her around while still in his arms.
“” She confessed making Arnav frown
“” He questioned concerned
“” Khushi pouted ""
"" Arnav asked
""
“” Arnav guided her towards the table.
“” She scrunched her nose looking at the plate in disgust. Arnav looked at his wife looking like an adorable child and smiled at her
“” Arnav asked, Khushi shook her head
“” She pouted (personal opinion 😜)
“” Arnav asked “”
“” Khushi asked confused
“” Arnav said flicking her nose.
Khushi nodded, “” She thought frowning cutely
“” Arnav said huskily making her eyes to go wide and cheeks to get painted in Arnav's favourite colour. Arnav smirked
“” Khushi questioned.
“” Arnav said boldly
“” She blushed hiding her face in his chest, Arnav held her close to himself sighing in contentment.
Both found the peace they were looking for in each other's arms, in each other's presence. It was a surprise how Arnav and Khushi comforted each other and helped each other out of every mess without even trying.
“” Khushi mumbled softly
“” Arnav whispered
“” Arnav said detaching himself from her and kissed her forehead. “”
Khushi nodded

Shovels In Spades
We all have dreams of becoming powerful, becoming the cool mage that rules the world, living as the dashing rogue who can steal a kingdom's entire royal treasury undetected, or perhaps, the valiant knight whose prowess on the battlefield is unmatched by all. However, when the apocalypse strikes, you can only use what you have at your disposal, be that guns, baseball bats, your fists, or maybe, just maybe, a shovel. One young man who goes by the name of Darenzo has just had his world altered into one that is now the focal point of some sort of experiment. Just at the end of his shift at the skip site, a worldwide announcement was made, that not only changed Darenzo's life, but also the lives of all of the Earth's inhabitants. Can Darenzo survive and thrive in this changed world? Or will his growing madness best him? The answers to these questions can only be revealed with time. [Goal of 2 chapters per week, the only exceptions being announced breaks or emergencies] (The new cover art is a courtesy of the very kind and talented ssddx and was designed using the fanart cover of cthulupillar as the base.) Jalan Suram : The 100 Fire Holders
"Why us?" Still staring at the unusually stationary fire of the candle he was holding, Agung voiced the questions in our mind. "Out of 2 million people living in this city, why are we the chosen ones?" As if on cue, the eerie laughter of children could be heard above us. Holding our own candle tightly, we resolved to ignore them and continued our discussion. It was a matter of life or death after all. More than half of the initial participants had fallen and the building became more crowded as the result. There were now more ghosts than the living and each step was filled with danger from the unknown. Either we solved all the questions now or we would become another addition to the ghost camp. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There was one thing Novita found out after she accepted an invitation to a suspicious event from a seemingly legal company. Crowded didn't exactly mean safe. As more and more variables were added to the dangerous ritual, the higher the risk of death. At the same time, the higher the risk was, the better the rewards for it. But in the end, was it worth it? Note : This series was posted on scribblehub.com under the same name. Battleforged: Book 1 - THE BILLION CREDIT HEIST - An Earth Apocalypse LitRPG Adventure
To do list for the post apocalypse: 1. Survive the orcs rampaging through your city. 2. Survive the pod trying to steal your mind. 3. Pull off the greatest heist of all time. It still amazed Eric how much the world’s end mirrored the movie his obsessed mother had put into production… set to release just three days after the Apocalypse. Only problem was, in the real world there were no chosen ones destined to fight the beast hordes now slaughtering countless millions in every major city on Earth. But humanity wasn’t completely helpless. You really could level up in this brave new world, and embrace magic, peril, and limitless power! So long as you didn’t mind a 90% mortality rate in alien vegetative pods as happy to turn you into topsoil as give you any shot at mastering a System designed to benefit elite invaders. Not fragile humans just trying to survive. But Eric was all about beating the odds… Even if it killed him. Author's Note - I plan in releasing 1 chapter a day for the first thirty days. I will then be posting at least 3 times a week. This story is for anyone who enjoys slow-rise-to-power story arcs! Our hero will start out humbled and desperate, struggling just to survive. And slowly, with time, diligence, and training his butt off, he'll evolve into a powerhouse that will force even his enemies to treat him with respect. And nothing beats the post-apocalyptic blues like stealing an absolute fortune in gold, right out from under the noses of everyone trying to kill you! Enough gold to live like a king… or start a city of your own!

Revenant
Everyone dies. Not everyone gets back up again afterward. The Deep Paths are a cursed place, meant for those similarly cursed souls whom the gods themselves denied the sweet release of death. Revenants haunt the underworld, wielding forbidden powers and often consuming those who lack the strength to join them. At least, that's the story that parents teach their kids up on the surface. Reshid can't remember what he might have done to deserve such a fate, but he learns quickly that there is more to undeath than the gods and their faithful preach to the living. Revenants have a unique connection to essential magics that allows them to develop their powers in extremely diverse ways. Wherever there is power, though, there are those seeking to wield it, whether they be governments and gods from above, or mythical elder races from below.

Redeeming the Lost (A Comforter's Tale)
Life is always fun when you never get into trouble for causing mischief. Julie is a pro at keeping her packmates on their toes with her innocent fun. It's a perk of being a Comforter and never losing her puppy-like appearance. Admittedly, there are times when her skills are needed, and she takes her job quite seriously then. She isn't a fighter, but rather, is one who cares for others' hearts. A Comforter. After all, who doesn't want to hug a puppy? ---------------------What do most werewolf books have in common? They either focus on mates or on fighting. I decided to try a more unique route. No romance will be found here - this book focuses on the ties of friendship and hope.Thank you to Christine Leonardi from DeviantArt for the cover, and to @JimenaVivancoo for polishing it into an ebook cover!
