The sun came up as usual. You really couldn't tell though. It was always dark in prison. I cleaned my knife my mom gave me before she left. I sharpened it as well. After that, I flipped it in the air and caught it. Alexis was drawling as usual. Alexis and I are close. By close I mean she's the only one who knows about my newly found feelings for Carl.

The adults were checking the guns keeping them accounted for. I kept my eyes on Carl as he talked to Beth.

He told me about his crush on her. Alexis said it was to make me jealous. Well, it worked.

I laughed as he blushed nervously. Rick turned to look at me. "Ellie." He waved his hand over to me. I stood up. "Can you keep up with the group while we're gone?" He asked.

I nodded.

"You got it, dude." I gave him the thumbs up. I walked back over to my spot and Rick handed Carl the keys. He kissed Lori and we all started to clean the cellblock making it more home-like.

"Hey, Elliepop." Carl's voice rang through my ears. "I told you multiple times, Elliepop is not my name, Crayon." I smiled. He laughed and climbed up to my bed. "I think it suits you." He put his head on my shoulder. I stared down at it but stayed silent.

"How about peaches?" Carl said. I shook my head.

"I'm allergic to peaches."

"Lemon?" Carl said. I looked at him. "What's with you and foods?" A smile formed on his lips.

"I don't know I'm just hungry." He shrugged. I nodded. "Lemon it is."

"C'mon." He got up and I followed. We walked down the steps and Lori smiled at us leaning against the wall. Carl heard Rick yelling and opened the door. Hershel came in on a stretcher. (I think).

I ran towards Daryl and he kept an eye on the door. "What are you doing?" I asked. I turned and saw 5 men walk in. I raised my bow and pulled back the string.

"Far enough," Daryl said. They all piled in. "Cell block C." The guy with long black hair said. "Cell 4... that's mine, gringo." His voice overflowing with attitude.

"Let me in."

"Today's your lucky days, fellas." Daryl kept his crossbow on them and I kept my bow. "You've been pardoned by the state of Georgia. You're free to go." I finished the sentence for him. Daryl leaned into me smiling.

"What you got going on in there?"

"It ain't none of your concern."

"Don't be telling me what's my concern." He pulled out his gun. I walked forward to pull my arrow back more.

"Chill man." His friend said.

We started fighting and T-Dog ran I followed Rick. He started talking about stuff and told me to go back to the cell block. I slowly walked away back to the cell.

I let my feet swing off the side of my bed as everyone sat in the cell with Hershel. "Hey Honey Bunches of Oats," Carl said. I looked down at him.

"I thought it was Lemons," I said.

"Eh." He climbing up to my bunk. I sighed. "I got you this." He handed me a bandage.

"Wow, thanks," I said.

"Just turn it around." Carl rolled his eyes. On the front were the words spelling out Carl and Ellie. I looked at him. "Thanks," I said meaningfully.

He shrugged. "It's not much but it was the only thing in the infirmary," Carl said. "Well, its the thought that counts." I smiled placing the bandage on the wall.

When they finally came back Daryl and I went outside. We walked along the fence killing walkers close to it.

Once we finished we walked back inside. Carl was in our cell asleep. I climbed the ladder and closed my eyes drifting off into a deep sleep. Alexis walked in shortly after shaking me. "What?" I looked at her in her green eyes. "Can you come to sleep in my cell?" She asked.

I nodded and followed her.
