Yeah.
I mean, the more the merrier alright? They were pretty friendly, unlike the creatures from Dream's realm, they are decent enough for humanity's standards. After they took their time introducing themselves to me, we had a hearty meal, it was perhaps...
Delectable.
Pretty impressive for my first meal after years of imprisonment. I bid them goodbye as to continue to venture towards my 'mission', if Lucifer hadn't sent me her ugly goon, preferably her ugly 'pet' I would've took my time in taking in everything myself.
"You can stop following me now" I stopped dead in my tracks, glancing to my left. "Just so you know, boss was the one who sent me alright? So no reason to kill me" A caw then followed.
"Of course" I laugh, turning around facing the bird. "Why would he want you to follow me though?"
"I don't really know the whole reason but" He approaches me and stopping just in front of my shoe. "I heard a glimpse of it" he whispers.
"Do tell little birdie" I crouch, furrowing my eyebrows, "Well, this is how I understood it" he was squirming, taking his fucking time. "He and Lucienne were talking about how they would save Rose's brother and-"
"Oh, I know about that!" I shrug, standing up and beginning to walk away when he interrupted, "WAIT!" Arching my eyebrows, I stop once more glancing to my left. "they- they were talking about why were you so invested in boss' affairs and how he wants to find out what's your motive!"
A pregnant pause was filling the air, with a slight tension added.
"Thank you.. Matthew" I smile at him making the bird bow and fly away. "Say hi to Dream for me!" Waving goodbye, I teleported to the person who can help me with this, wouldn't really want to do this, but this might be the best resort I got.

"My Lord, maybe the princess has changed? Don't you see how she approaches all of us here? Even Matthew had a good impression of her" the librarian sat down as the endless paced around the room. "Lucienne"
"She's a demon, Lucifer's sister, Lucifer who's the ruler of hell" his voice was stern, but comforting, like lecturing a child who made a mistake in a quiet afternoon. "I know my lord but-"
"Lucienne" his voice gave the poor librarian shivers down her spine. "You are... free to go now, thank you" giving Lucienne a nod, she left the room, clearing her throat. "What are you planning Anica...."

The Cosmic Interloper
Synopsis: A cyborg transhuman escapes her corporate indenture and through unfathomably unlikely circumstances, she ends up in a fantasy world of full of unique magic, angry people with sharp implements, and the whole flavor-spectrum of divine entities. Hilarity ensues. Features: - No blue boxes or cultivation, this is not a LitRPG nor about martial arts - Hard-ish Sci-Fi meets hard-ish magic - Generally trying to keep this "rational" Rationale: My primary goal with The Cosmic Interloper is to write something that I myself would enjoy reading. Of course, that’s not the only motivation, but I think it’s the most important one for me to keep in mind, especially as the author. In fact, this whole story came about because after consuming oodles of fiction, I found myself craving a very specific type of story which I couldn’t find many examples of. Then I asked myself, “why not write it myself?” and here we are. Disclaimer: In general, while I’m not writing a comedy, I do intend for this story to be funny and a bit wacky or absurd. That said though, I am using this story as a vehicle to explore some potentially dark topics including (but not limited to) slavery, speciesism/racism, and existential questions of self, consciousness, and identity. Still, I’m going to leave the “traumatizing content” tags off, because I don’t feel that what I’ve written so far (or plan on writing) exceeds the threshold that would be necessary for me to tag it thusly. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way she views the world is not the objective truth (if such a thing even exists).
