Utter Silence.
Darkness.
Those were the things you had to face during your imprisonment, Lucifer fuckin' Morningstar imprisoned you for a sin you committed a very long time ago, she was hella mad, and you even added fuel by jokingly teasing about how mad she got, and then here you are, sitting in the middle of nowhere, staring into borderless voids.
Your powers were harshly stripped off you, leaving you with nothing but you and your dignity. Ever since you got imprisoned you didn't give up on trying to find a way to get out, maybe Lucifer left an opening here? She is quite old now, she may conceivably forgot an opening here.
Well- that motivation, until the last years, after surveying the void, it seems that Lucifer was really pissed that she was waiting for this moment to trap me, like it was made for me.
I don't even know how long I was here, months? years? decades? hell, maybe even centuries or eons.
Just then, a white light opened not far from where I was, cautiously, I approach it, you don't know, maybe Lucifer was planning to erase my existence with this. The light slowly grew bigger and brighter as I approach it.
"The hell.." I mumbled as I examined around it, suddenly I heard a conversation being held inside the strange portal.
'Do you think she learnt her lesson your highness?'
'She shall, being stuck and a borderless void is enough suffering for a demon'
That sounded a lot like Lucifer fucking Morningstar. I held my hand up making it go through the portal, Should I go in? What if its a trap to kill me? Can I trust the voices in there? what if its not Lucifer?
'What if she died in there?'
'She's firm-set ,not even I can dispatch her'

Really? well then-
I screamed as I jumped in the portal, landing with an oof [or any preferred sound], Carefully, I stood up.
'I'm free' I mumbled. I finally out of that fucking prison! Observing my surroundings, I notice that hell didn't change through out the years, this means that Lucifer still has her shitty decorating skills.
'Welcome back my lady'
I turned to where the voice came from and was met by Mazikeen bowing to me. She was still the same as ever, long black hair sliding down her shoulders, half of her face was cut off. But she's still beautiful as I remember her.
'Thank you Mazikeen'
Bowing to her, I glanced to Lucifer who still has her chin up like she's some God or something.
'Welcome back, what took you so long to enter the portal?'
She turns her back slowly walking to the balcony.
I scoff, rolling my eyes, As if she would just enter the portal if she were in my state. As I stood beside her, demons started to roar and cheer my name, and of course- Lucifer's.
'Its the princess!'
'She's free!'
'All hail the princess!'
'Your majesty has freed the princess!'
Demons of all kinds bursted in compliments and praises for me, some even throwing their weapons in the air, others waving their torch around like they're dancing. smh.
'Seems that thy still a crowd's favorite after all these years' I gave her a glare of mine.
'Hm' I mumbled. 'Upset? What you did before upsetted me more'
'You know why I have freed you?' She goes back to the fountain situated at the center of the structure.
'Dream was also imprisoned as you' slightly cocking my head to the side. Dream?
Wait.
Dream Lord, he's the person in charge of dreams, and hes also Lucifer's sworn nemesis. Why was he imprisoned?

'And now, he's been freed from his prison' She glances to her side, eyeing me.
'Dream's already found his tools, and as we know it, he's repairing his realm now'
What does she desire from me. I was just freed from a long time in prison, and now she doth lack me to do something for her?! how rude is that!
'Now, we cannot freely do whatever, since dream is here to stop us' her gaze was transfixed to me and only me, like the surroundings was mute in her eyes. Her glare piercing me as though I am of an aiming point.
'Now, this is where you come in' she slowly approaches me.
'You... You will make Dream fall in love with you' My face scrunches up to a confused face with a hint of sourness.
'What?' I raised my voice a bit, yeah, seducing is easy-peasy, but with the Dream Lord? That's impossible, Calliope did, eons of eons ago, but it ended tragically, same went with Nada, and now she's in prison for over 10,000 years.
'Should I repeat myself again?' She caresses my cheek before pinching them leaving a red mark on my face making me rub the spot. 'Make dream fall in love with you'
'Shouldn't this be just an easy mission for you? Dear princess of Hell?' She taunts, Sure, I can seduce any man, or woman, but dream? He's as cold as a dead corpse, no, scratch that, the coldest being you'll ever meet in your life!
When he wants something, he gets it, even if it takes up countless of lives, what he wants, he gets. Like a brat, you know?
'You will also get your own prize of course' She smiles, 'If you can make dream fall in love with you, I get power over the 3 worlds, and in return, you get your never-ending freedom' smirking, she hands me a sphere ball containing feral orb balls inside.
'Break this sphere and your powers may come back to you'
'But Dream is known to be a cold-blooded person, What if I fail' It sounded more like I demanded for an answer rather than asking a question. 'Oh, I'm sure the princess doesn't want to disappoint her loyal subjects, am I right?' She pointed to the creatures below, and as if on cue, the demons roared once again, leaving me to grim over what I should do.

Rise of the First Necromancer
Asrael Nessarat awakes on a sandy dune with a mouthful of sand and nothing but tattered rags in his posession. As the High Magus of the school of Necromancy, he once aspired to prove to the Emperor that magic still held a place in their society. But that day came, passed and inevitably accelerated his kind's downfall. Now; they are hunted, strung up and burned on pyres throughout the Empire by the Emperor's holy Inquisition- an efficient and ruthless army hell-bent on bleeding every last droplet of magic from the lands. With nothing but a mouthful of sand and tattered rags; Asrael is determined to seek the one thing his cold, still heart desires. Vengeance. This story can, at times, get very dark. It is not recommended for the faint of heart. This is not a story of an overtly powerful wizard who can pulverize his enemies from across the world, nor is it in any way, shape or form a joyous tale. We follow Asrael as he and his companions explore and seek to change an unjust world, where kindness and acceptance are exceptions, rather than the rule. If you are looking for a story to inspire hope or joy, this is not it. If you wish to read about likeable, heroic people, turn around. If you wish to see good battle evil, where the cut in between is clear, then this is not for you.
