"He'll be okay, Zuko." I was giving Iroh another healing session - it's been about six hours since he was burned. "It's normal that's he's out for this long. His body took a lot of damage."
Zuko continued to pace around the room and I sighed while placing a wet cloth on Iroh's forehead. I rolled my eyes, "Would you stop?"
"Why did you stay?!" I jumped at his sudden outburst. I raised a brow, "Are you upset that I did?"
"You had a chance to— to go with them and you didn't take it. You stayed with me."
"You needed my help, I couldn't just leave."
"We would've been fine!"
I scoffed while standing up, "What's your problem?"
He stepped toward me, "Just tell me the truth!"
"What truth?! What do you want me to tell you?!"
"I need the truth!" He grabbed the upper part of my arms with both his hands and slightly lifted me from the ground, "Zuko!"
Once our eyes met, he slowly loosened his grip. "Why won't anyone just ever tell me the truth?" His voice cracked. "You're just really overwhelmed right now." I said, trying to sound understanding.
When his gaze on me didn't leave and his hands still held my arms, I forced s small smile. "Are you okay, Zuko? Like really okay?"
Zuko shook his head and started to slowly lean into me.
"D-Do you want to talk about it?"
Zuko shook his head once again and stopped leaning in when our lips were inches apart. "What are you doing?"
"I don't know." He whispered. I could've pulled away. I tried to. But I physically couldn't. I wouldn't.
Our lips brushed each other and I had goosebumps when I felt his hot breath. His hands were warm and comforting.

"Can you let me go?"
"Why?"
"Because your touching me in ways you've never touched me before." I gulped. "And I don't know how to feel about it..."
"I don't know how either."
I snickered, making Zuko half-smile. "Why are you laughing?"
"Because this is weird. We were arguing just moments ago." I said. "And because of our status, I didn't expect this to ever happen."
"You kissed Hiko."
"Correction: He kissed me."
Zuko pulled away and we looked away from each other in embarrassment. He cleared his throat, "I'm sorry."
"It's alright, really. Um, I'm just gonna..." I pointed to Iroh and Zuko nodded. "Yeah I'm just going to go..." He pointed to the nonexistent door of the old shed we were in then left. I say nonexistent because not even a wall was there.
I patted Iroh's forehead with the wet cloth, "Some guidance would really help right now."
As I continued to dry the sweat that was dripping down his forehead, he started to mumble something. "Iroh?"
I put my ear closer to his mouth.
"Lu Ten."
I stood up and ran out of the shed, "Zuko!" He was still pacing around. "Iroh said something!"
"Are you sure?!"
I nodded quickly and he ran inside. I watched him lean down in front of his uncle, "Uncle. Uncle."
Iroh's eyes slowly opened up.
"You were unconscious."
I quickly made my way over to Iroh and helped him sit up. "Azula did this to you." Zuko said. "It was a surprise attack."
"Somehow that's not so surprising." Iroh replied. He groaned in pain as I leaned him back against the wall.
Zuko picked up a cup of tea that was steaming. I totally forgot that was there. "I hope I made it the way you like it."

Iroh took a sip of the tea and his face said it all. I snickered but quickly covered my mouth with my hand.
"Mm, good." Iroh lied. He forced himself to drink the rest then handed the cup back to Zuko, "That was very... um, bracing." He finished with a grin.
Zuko poured Iroh some more tea and as he poured me some as well, Iroh threw the cup back, making his cup empty once again. I was going to take a sip of the tea, but Iroh stopped me. He grabbed my hand and shook his head, "I wouldn't." He whispered. I waterbent the tea out of the cup and sent it flying out the broken window. "Delicious!" I smiled.
"So Uncle, I've been thinking. It's only a matter of time before I run into Azula again. I'm going to need to know more advanced fire bending if I want to stand a chance against her." Zuko said. "I know what you're going to say: she's my sister and I should be trying to get along with her."
"No, she's crazy and she needs to go down."
"He's right." I agreed. "Blood doesn't always make you family."
Zuko simply nodded. As Iroh tried to stand up, I held onto his arm. "Maybe later? You can always start tomorrow."
"No, no," Iroh shook his head. "I'm alright." Once he was on his feet, I walked over and sat beside Zuko. "It's time to presume your training."
Zuko and I faced each other, our cheeks noticeably turning red. "Did something happen between the two of you ?" Iroh asked.
"No!" "No!"
