mcu said Vain needed a part 2 so yall got a part 2. I hope yall like it. I haven't finished season 3 yet, so nothing about season 3 is gonna be posted. I kinda implied that this takes place during season 3 but just bc I mentioned where Steve and Billy work!!

Billy watched you walk towards your house phone, you stared him down as you dialed Steve Harrington's phone number. Billy could hear the phone ring, he walked towards your front door and walked out, slamming the door. Thank God your parents weren't home. You forgot that you had actually called Steve until you heard his voice on the other end.

"Y/N? Are you there? Is everything okay? I heard a door slam."

"Yeah I'm fine, but, I broke up with Billy". Steve was happy to hear that you had finally dumped Billy's ass. Steve has had a crush on you since Nancy broke up with him so, to hear that you were finally single again made his heart grow 10 sizes.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear about that. Do you want me to come over?" You looked out your window to make sure Billy was gone, only to see his car still parked out in front of your house.

"Billy hasn't left yet but, just to let you know, I kinda told Billy that I was gonna call you because I told him that I had a lineup of guys that wanted me and I kinda implied that you were one of those guys." You were biting your lip, hoping he wouldn't be too mad.

"Shit, okay. Well you weren't wrong" Steve was really hoping you couldn't tell that he was nervous.

"Wait what? You like me? The Steve Harrington has a crush on me?" You pretended to be shocked, you just wanted to tease him a little. And you already knew, Dustin Henderson was such a blabbermouth.

"Yeah I like you what's the big deal?"

"I knew you liked me." After hearing that Steve was so confused.

"Wait, who told-- never mind, Dustin said something didn't he? Fucking blabbermouth." You chuckled softly

"Yeah Dustin told me, that's what you get when you tell a 14 year old how 'amazing' I look in the Hawkins high school gym class uniform." You couldn't see him but Steve was bright fucking red. He shook his head.

"Look, I know you just broke up with Billy but, do you wanna go get breakfast tomorrow?" You thought about it, you were kinda over Billy already so you said yes and agreed to meet him at Benny's Diner.

Breakfast went great and eventually you had started seriously dating Steve for about a year. During that time you, Billy and Steve had graduated high school. You got a job at Melvald's working with Joyce Byers. Steve had starting working at Scoops Ahoy, and Billy was working as a lifeguard. During the last month or 2 of your relationship with Steve, you found yourself going to the pool just to see Billy. You loved when he would completely ignore Karen Wheeler and stare at you from his chair. The glares you received from that woman would make your day. You had broken up with Steve, it was a mutual breakup. That same day, you had to restrain yourself from calling Billy. Instead you had a girl's day with Max and El, you had told them multiple times that you and Steve were over, in hopes that Max would tell Billy when he picked her up from your house.

You went to the pool the next day, you were lounging in one of the chairs, just a few feet away from Karen Wheeler. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw her reapply lip gloss to her lips and that meant Billy was walking over. You saw her wink at him, and he rolled his eyes at her which made you laugh. Billy was standing in front of you now.

"Hey Billy."

"Max told me about you and Steve and I was thinking that we could get some dinner tonight."

"Okay, pick me up at 6" and with that Billy walked to his chair. You heard Karen Wheeler say the word 'bitch' under her breath to which you made you laugh as you flipped her off.

Billy arrived to your house right at 6. You went to the Starcourt and ate at some Chinese food place and went to Scoops Ahoy after, you were so glad Steve wasn't there. As you were walking back to Billy's car, he stopped in the middle of the parking lot.

"I want you to be my girlfriend again" you weren't shocked, Billy had been subtly hinting at wanting to get back together during your date.

"Are you gonna fuck other girls?"

"No"

"Are you gonna be there for me, no matter what?"

"Yes"

"Okay then we can get back together but, I want you to remember that I am fucking amazing."

"Trust me, I won't ever forget."

You and Billy were together for 2 years before he decided to propose to you. After a year of marriage, you had given birth to your first of 3 children, you both decided to name her after Max, so her full name was Paige Maxine Hargrove. Your second child was a boy, you thought it would be a great idea to name him after Billy, so you guys named him William Matthew Hargrove. And your 3rd child was another boy, his name was Joshua Daniel Hargrove.
