《Billy Hargrove imagines》Vain

You were always there for him. Even when your life was turning to crap, you were able to pull yourself together and be there for him. You could count on one hand the amount of times he was there for you. If you needed him, he would make excuses for why he couldn’t be there for you.
He hurt you so many times. He apologized too many times, he said “It didn’t mean anything” too many times for him to mean it. You just wished that you could have done the same to him but, you could never bring yourself to do it. You prided yourself on not doing anything, on not getting some type of revenge. If you did, you would be on the same level as him.
You often wondered what he would do if you left. The thought crossed your mind a couple of times a day, it was awful of you to think like that, right? It’s not like you would be losing a whole lot, he was just Billy, you were the special one. You were the one who had stuck around. He needed you, you did not need him. So, why didn’t you leave? You were sick for his love.
Did he love you, though? Or did he love that you were always around? He said that he loved you, didn’t he? You honestly couldn’t remember the last time you heard him say it, or if he’s even said it at all.
He often blamed you for the fights that you would have. He said that you needed to learn how to trust him, and that you were paranoid. You scoffed whenever he called you paranoid. Especially since he would call the Henderson residence to make sure that you were actually babysitting and not out with another guy.

You never understood why you stayed. His apologies were always the same. He would apologies and then immediately try to move on, or distract you from what you were fighting about. God forbid, if you tried this on him. He would dissect your every mistake and go into detail about why and how you were wrong.
You were always so willing to stay. You dreamed about leaving him, in those dreams you were always so happy once it was over. You realized that it was time. It was time to end things with Billy Hargrove. If you wanted to be happy, like yoy were in those dreams, then you needed to do this for yourself.

“Don’t you understand Billy?”
“What’s there to understand? I said I was sorry, now come here so, we can kiss and make up” he had that stupid smirk on his face, at first you liked his smirk but, now all it does to you is make you sick.
“Billy, your pathetic apologies aren’t cutting it anymore! I hate fighting with you all the time, you’re so paranoid! We can’t trust each other anymore! Don’t you see that this relationship is hell? You need to go and never come back.”
“I wouldn’t be so paranoid if you didn’t flirt with everything that walks!” He pointed his finger at you while he started to blame you, again.
“I don’t flirt with anyone! The only boys I talk to anymore are 14 years old! You know, the kids I babysit? I’m sure you know their phone numbers and addresses better than I do since you “check up on me” 5 times a night!” Billy went to interrupt you but, you weren’t finished and you weren’t going to let him try and fix everything now. All of this pent up anger had been building up for months and you were going to get it out.

“I am so done. I am done with our relationship, I am done letting you walk all over me, I am done with you. Do you know how amazing I am? I know it sounds vain but, I guess you rubbed off on me. What would you do if you couldn’t get me back with your stupid, charming smile? Because, you are not getting me back this time. We are over, and it’s your loss because, I am fucking amazing. How are you going to feel when you see me around school with another guy? I have a lineup of guys that have been waiting for us to break up. I think after you get the fuck out of my house I’m gonna call Steve Harrington.”
“You wouldn’t.” That was all he said. His teeth were clenched, his eyes held a fire in them. He was pissed.
“You want to fucking bet, Hargrove?”

I'm Always Talking to Myself
My name is Zach. I’m a typical bland featureless protagonist type. The kind of guy who has purposefully few defining characteristics so that people can project whatever they want on me. Like Luke from Star Wars or what’s her name from Twilight. Most main characters are like me. Kind of flavorless blank slates because we all secretly doubt that we’re Harrison Ford, but pretty much anyone could be Mitt Romney. Yep. Yes indeed, I do spend basically my entire life running an internal dialog to no one. Usually I’m imagining that there are people listening. Like maybe philosophers from Ancient Greece, or researchers from another planet who act suspiciously like the characters from that Instagram comic with the aliens. Stupid Instagram comedians stealing my internal monologue and turning into a wildly successful enterprise which I would imagine has a vibrant merch dropshipping arm and hundreds of thousands of daily dopamine hits for loyal followers. I basically spend all of my time explaining random things to imaginary people (and aliens, and animals, and household items which have inexplicably gained sentience and frankly have some concerns about this whole existence thing). Honestly, it’s both highly entertaining to me, in that it makes me think about why we humans do all of the bizarre things that we do, but also horrifically exhausting and kind of makes you feel like you’re either, worst cast, losing your grip on reality, or best case, becoming Abed from Community. Anyway, I’m sure that I have some distinguishing characteristics, but, in the interest of hypnotic suggestion I’m choosing to omit them until I’m pretty sure that you have subconsciously come to identify with me, or until I feel like it. (By the way, in case I forgot to mention it, a higher power called Aww Thor or something told me to say that this is a slice-of-life comedy adventure and that it's set in a fantasy world with isekai and LitRPG elements.)

The Aspect of Fire
Wilhelm woke up and was immediately confused, even before he opened his eyes. Through some twist of fate the data-entering grunt was pulled into another world, one containing terrifying people wielding magic powers beyond what he thought possible, and - somehow comparatively less horrifying - actual monsters. The only saving grace is that through his transference, he has become one of those terrifying people, and he's not sure how he feels about it yet. Oh, and he landed on a boat. Branded a Sylum for the way others unlucky enough to be pulled across the fabric of space tended to go insane after arrival, he will need to navigate a land unlike his own in seemingly every way except for the flaws, all while attempting to maintain his morality, and more importantly, his sanity. With his crew at his side and disconcertingly dangerous magic proportionate to his physical ability, it will not be easy.
