Pagkatapos kong sabihin kay ate iyon. Nagpaalam na kami kila Inay at dumeretso na kami sa kubo.
Inihanda na namin ang dadalhin namin na pinabili namin galing bansa ni Ate. Naalala ko ang nangyari noon.
"Dadating na ang barko bukas. Ako na ang kukuha non baka makahalata pa sila." sabi sa akin ni ate.

Tinignan ko ang mga sinulat kong liham sa aking lalagyanan. Kinuha ko ang mga ito at ipinagbigay alam ko sa aking kapatid.
"Ate, ibibigay ko sa iyo yan may sulat ka din diyan. Huwag mo munang babasahin pero kapag ramdam mo na doon mo lang gagalawin."
"Para saan ba ito?" tanong niya.
"Kapag hindi nagtagumpay ang ating plano." tumango naman si ate.
Kinuha na ni ate ang dala-dala niya simula nung naglakbay kami. Ito ay mga baril na galing ibang bansa at meron din itong mga bombang bilog.
"Mamayang mga madaling araw tayo aalis dito. Huwag kang mag papahalata kila Itay." sabi sa akin ni ate.
Kinuha ko naman ang aking Taalarawan. Nakalimutan ko na magsulat simula ng nakapaglakbay kami kaya naisipan ko na mag sulat.
Pagkatapos kong isulat ang lahat dumeretso ako sa kubo nila Marisol bitbit ang aking taalarawan.
Kumatok ako ng tatlong beses mayamaya binuksan na ni Marisol ang pinto.
"Oh, bakit?"
"Mag isa ka lang ba diyan?" tumango naman siya, agad akong pumasok at kinuha ang kaniyang kamay.
"Mari, ibibigay ko sayo ang aking taalarawan babasahin mo lang ito kapag gusto na ng puso mo pero huwag ngayon."
"Ha? bakit?"
"Basta. Kaibigan kita eh, kaya pwede mong basahin yan." hindi ko pinahalata sa kaniya.
"Eh, ikaw may taalarawan ka din ba? baka pwede kong rin basahin." sabi ko.
"Nako, wala nga eh. Tinatamad akong magsulat. Tara na gutom na ako." yaya niya sa akin.

Makalipas ng ilang oras madaling araw na. Nagkukunwari kaming natutulog ni ate at mabuti tulog na sila Inay at Itay. Nagpalit na kami ng uniporme pang sundalo para hindi kami mahirapan kapag tumatakbo.
Lumabas na kami ng kubo at tingnan nalang namin sila.
"Tay, Nay pasensya na talaga... Para sa mahal lang namin" sabi ni ate ng pabulong.
Nagsimula na kaming maglagad patungo kung nasaan sila Goyo pero hindi kami magpapakita sa kanila.
Pumunta kami sa ibaba at may nakita kaming isang kubo kahit delikado pinuntahan parin namin. Naglagay kami sa paligid ng malaking lambat na kapag inapakan mo iyon makukulong ka dun at maangat sa may puno at doon namin balak barilin sila. Kapag nakakita kami ng kahit isang amerikano babarilin namin agad, hindi kami magsasayang ng oras para paintayin pa sila.
Nakita namin na may ilaw sa bandang itaas kung nasaan nila Goyo. Dahang-dahan kaming naglibot ni ate sa paligid ng bundok.
Nakita namin ni ate ang isang bayan kung saan ay may kilala ako, iyon ang nagturo ng dereksyon papuntang Ilocos Sur at ang inaapi ng mga sundalo. Naisip ko na hindi ko siya pagkakatiwalaan kasi alam kong may galit siya sa mga sundalo baka ituro niya pa kung nasaan kami.
At may daan na kung saan pwede dumaan ang mga amerikano kaya naisipan kong ilabas ang mantika na galing sa niyog madulas ito kaya hindi sila pwedeng maka akyat.
"Uy, anong ginagawa mo. Sinasayang mo yan baka may paggamitan pa tayo niyan." sabi sa akin ni ate at sinabi ko naman sa kaniya ang aking naisip. Tumulong na rin siya.
Naglagay narin kami ni ate ng mga bato pangharang para sigurado.
Tapos na namin ang pangalawang plano. Pumunta na kami kung saan kami magtatago para barilin ang mga amerikano.
Nagtayo kami ni ate ng taguan na hindi kami makikita kahit nga ako nung tinignan ko ito parang wala talaga kasi may mga nakarang na damo at puno.
Nagpahinga na kami at bukas na ang huling plano namin. Sana magtagumapay ito...
